《King of Freaks ✔》Epilogue

a haze, but everything was dark for a split second. I was sitting outside of the steps of my old apartment, just watching the neighborhood. Civilians walked by but didn't bother looking at me, and if they did—they just went back to walking into their lives. It was quite strange and unusual since people tend to take a look at me twenty-four-seven.
I tried getting up once I suddenly saw everybody yelling and screaming. They were running away from something. When I made an effort to move, I fell to the ground.
I can't walk.
"Eliazer! Get up!" I voice yelled, grabbing me from my biceps. I looked up, seeing Bryn as she constantly looked behind me.
I can't, I can't get up.
"Eliazer, get up!" My heart was beating at an abnormal rate as I looked at the clock across the bed.
"Bryn, it's 5:10 in the morning, go to sleep," I mumbled, snuggling into the sheets.
"Well excuse me! I can't help it if I'm going through labor!" She said, raising her voice. Labor.
Labor?
I got up but fell instead since I was at the end of the bed. I grunted as I tried untangling myself from the sheets.
Why are they wet?
"Oh my god, your water broke," I said, stunned as I tried to comprehend everything.
"Gee, thanks for pointing out the obvious." She groaned, holding on to the bottom of the bump on her stomach. I quickly got up off the floor, running into the closet to at least put on some pants.
"Eliazer, I don't have all day!" Bryn said with a cry.
"Don't you think I know that," I mumbled, sliding on some jeans. I ran back into the room, sliding on some socks and shoes. "Alright, C'mon, we're going."

"Wait, you're taking me in this?" She said, looking down at herself while I helped her up.
"Well, you either want the baby here or at the hospital. Two choices." I said, walking her towards the door. She grabbed on to my forearm, her nails digging into my skin. It hurt, but I had better things to think about. Right now, we were out the front door of our house, so I tried to get her into the backseat of her car—a gift from her dad for her twentieth birthday.
I sighed nervously as I opened the front for to get in. I had a struggle as I fumbled with the car keys until finally, I started the car and speed off into the street.
"Eliazer, go faster please," Bryn said from the backseat. I looked at the rearview mirror, watching her face contour into pain as she clenched her teeth together.
Obey your wife who's in pain.
I hit the gas, the car accelerating. We were on a big street, but that's until I saw red and blue lights behind me. I looked and saw that I was above the speed limit.
"Shit shit shit," I mumbled, pulling over the side of the road.
"W-why are you pulling over?" Bryn said with eyes closed as she took deep breaths.
"Sorry babes," I said, looking back at her with an apologetic face. The police officer was taking his time as he walked up to my window. He reminded me of Bruce, his mocha skin, and colored eyes.
"License and registration?" I was about to open my mouth but Bryn beat me to it. She leaned forward, her head peeking through the little space she had near my window.
"Listen, officer... I'm currently having a baby, so would you do me a favor and let me go to the hospital?!" She said, yelling at the end. I gave the officer a smile as he looked at Bryn, obviously seeing her condition.

"Follow behind me." He said, eyes wide as he jogged his way inside the police car, turning on the lights before driving away.
"Thank god," Bryn mumbled as she slumped back.
It took us around ten minutes to reach the nearest hospital. Once there, I got out the car, opening the backseat as I took Bryn out.
"Thank you, officer!" I yelled, looking at his car as he waved through the window. I went inside the hospital, Bryn yelling in agony as she nearly fell limp in my arms. Nurses immediately took her to another room as I leaned on the front counter. I was nervous, maybe a bit too much.
I think that's when I passed out.
I woke up later on a hospital bed, the white light and white sheets illuminating everything. I heard laughter coming from my right.
The first thing I see is a pair of big blue eyes, startling me as I yelled, pulling my face back.
"Hey, guys! Eliazer's awake!" Tanner said with a little laugh. I looked around, seeing everybody here. I immediately got up from the bed hastily looking around.
"Woah Woah bro, Bryn's right over here," Benjamin said with a smile, pointing to bed next to me.
"Oh my god. That's so cute!" Gemini exclaimed, handing Gray their four-year-old, Keenan. Let's say she had a surprise when she was nineteen, an unexpected surprise.
"Eliazer, c'mere," Bryn said, waving me over. In her arms was a bundle of blue. I gave her a confused look, wondering what just happened.
"We-We were expecting a girl," I said surprised.
"Well, they were wrong." She said with a smile. I smiled back but widened my eyes once she began handing me the baby. "Hold him."
"He's going to start crying once he sees me," I explained. I was never really lucky with kids.
"No, he's not. Here." she insisted. I sighed, stiff as I carried my bundle of joy in my arms. He was asleep, eyes closed along with his lips.
"Braydon," I mumbled. I looked at Bryn, and she smiled in agreement.
"Braydon it is." She said, sighing as she leaned back into her pillow.
"Oh my god, let me hold him," Jared said. He grew, nearly as tall as me at the age of nineteen. "Wait, never mind. He's too small and fragile, I might drop him."
Everybody was here. Tanner and Benjamin were standing near the door. River, Grayson, and Gemini were at the edge of Bryn's bed. Bruce, Jared, and Aspen were sitting on the seats on the side of the bed. Bryn's father— Stephen, on the other hand, was asleep on one of the chairs with Nikolai standing next to him, hands golden above each other.
Gray and Gemini aren't married, but look happy as ever. Benjamin is engaged while Bruce and River decided to stay single. Eloy became a business man at a young age but is still a great friend with everyone. And Aspen and Bruce got married to their first love.
And me? Well, I started my own family with my own love.
And I'm glad Bryn took that chance to kiss me. I'm just another example of anyone being capable of having a future. A happy future.

Re:Hammer - The Hammering
Sequel to the sort of liked Re:Hammer. Set in 40k universe, and generally on course. Personal changes are detailed in the Prologue because it's quite a bit. It's not really ended nor is it an attrocity like End Times, but I've got a few things to change. To note: Druchii arc (If this means nothing to you, go read Re:Hammer first) has been learned from and will be avoided. This is not to say there won't be any sex, but we will certainly try to keep it less crazy. Feedback is, as always, appreciated and worked with.
