《King of Freaks ✔》Chapter 8

, a few days after I was at Eliazer's place, and currently, Gemeni was sitting in front of me on the lunch table. The guys weren't here yet, so Gemeni decided to sit with me and my loneliness.
"-So then, I bashed him in the face for being such a prick." She ended.
"And, he did what to you again?" I asked my mind elsewhere.
"He cut past me in line, so I got kicked out of Walmart. Fucking Walmart Bryn." She said, obviously still irritated of the past situation.
"Well, you're lucky they didn't call the cops on you."
"The cops can kiss my ass."
"They aren't gonna kiss your ass when your Dad's gonna have to bail you out."
"Yeah, you're right. Stay away from cops. Got it." She said, nodding her head, being completely serious.
I rolled my eyes, a smirk plastered on my face. Gemeni is hilarious without even wanting to be funny. It's like it comes naturally with her. Unconscious humour lives in her.
"Hello there!" I voice said beside my ear. I jumped at the sudden closeness and volume, it scared the hell out of me. I craned my neck to see Tanner sitting down next to me, a bit over joyed. I gave him a questioning look, obviously unaware of the situation.
"Grayson gave him too much of-... something." Eloy whispered, sliding in the other space beside me. Beside him sat Benji, whom raised his eyebrow at Grayson. Bruce, Grayson, and River sat on the other side of the table with Gemini, all looking at Tanner. I looked at Tanner beside me, noticing his fidgeting legs. He then got really close to my face, making me back away a bit.
"Pepe the frog is my best friend." He said in a loud whisper and that's when I realized.

"You gave him fucking weed?!" I whispered at everyone.
"We thought he could've handled it." Bruce replied, rubbing his neck.
I turned to look at Grayson, whom was responsible, but instead found him whispering at Gemini, who both had serious expressions plastered on their faces.
"Hey, you." I said, trying to get his attention by throwing him a grape.
He snapped his neck at me, before sticking his hand out in a, "what do you want?" expression. I pointed my own hand at Tanner, who was current drawing Pepe the frog holding the emoji tea cup. Grayson's Adams apple bopped up and down before shrugging his shoulders.
"I had nothing to do with that." he said, looking away. I sighed.
My life revolves around idiots.

Walking Rosco is one of the hardest things I've had to do. The dog basically drags me away, so damn eager to go for a stroll. It was dark out, around seven p.m. I know it's not safe to be walking around like this, but it's kind of a habit. I liked the whooshing sensation of the trees, it felt fresh on my skin.
Rosco's psychotic barking brought me out of my trance. I calmed him down before looking ahead of me, and standing there was Jared.
"You have to come." He said, eyes wide.
"What? Where?" I asked.
"He came home today, he was gone for days. You need to see him." Jared said desperately, taking hold of my hand. I agreed and we ran to the apartment, which was around fifteen minutes away. Jared busted open the door and the first thing my eyes settled on was Eliazer, sitting on a wooden chair. He was hunched over, but I could tell something was terribly wrong.
I went over and put my hand on his shoulder. He jerked it away, trying to hold in a painful shriek. I noticed he was biting down on a cloth, beads of sweat trickling down his forehead. He had a black eye and various bruises on his arms.

"Eliazer? Let me help you." I asked, not asking what in the hell happened to him. He looked at me, his heavy breathing sounding throughout the silence.
"Fine." He said, getting up steadily. He shook slightly, grabbing hold of the chair. I went to his side, but he simply held out a hand to me. I didn't listen, getting hold of his waist. He limped towards the cabinet and upon opening it, various knives were evident. He grabbed the smallest one, the size of a normal pocket knife.
We went back and he slumped on the chair. He used the knife to cut through his shirt. The first thing I saw was his muscle toned body, but my eyes trailed up, noticing a wound on his shoulder.
"The bullet went straight through, alright? I need you to close it up for me." He breathed out. I swear, I nearly fainted when he said that. I was ready to pass out.
"H-how the hell am I supposed to do that?" I asked, scrunching up my face.
"Jared." He said, nodding his head towards the stove. Jared began walking towards the stove, turning it on, confused as ever.
"I need you to make this as hot as possible." He said, handing me the knife. I listened, and put the steel of the knife atop of the the stove, letting it heat up. "When it's hot, I want you to melt my skin together."
I'm getting nauseous.
After a bit, Eliazer told me to grab the knife. I did, I was hesitant, and I knew he was too. He nodded his head, flipping the chair so that his head was leaning on the back rest.
"Do it, now. Before I change my mind." He insisted. I gulped before getting a grip on his shoulder. Eliazer put the cloth back in his mouth, gripping onto the chair for dear life.
"Ok, I'm gonna count to three." I said.
"One."
His outcry ran out before it was muffled by the cloth. His skin made a zizling noise before slowly closing completely.
Cauterizing a gun shot wound is a first.
It was one of the most fucked up scenes ever. I can't believe I even did this, what if something bad happens and it doesn't heal? What if he was supposed to go to a hospital?
Why didn't I think of this?
After doing the entrance and the exit of the wound, Eliazer passed out. I don't know, from the pain or just the thought of him getting shot.
"Thanks. I know you didn't have to come, but you did." Jared told me, after putting Eliazer in his bed. I smiled at him, but something caught my attention. This room. It was too clean. Too, organized.
Not even a girl could have her room this clean. I looked at the corner of the room, the nice gray color calming, and my eyes caught a desk that was there. It had a whole bunch of newspapers hung around it, but never leaving that corner. It was the only messy thing in this room.
"Uh, Eliazer wouldn't want you looking at his stuff." Jared said, a bit embarrassed.
"Yeah, sorry. I just- sorry." I said.
Strange.
Tanner Inst!

"EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings.
