《King of Freaks ✔》Chapter 3

Bryn Atkinson's POV
failed at finding my classes on time. I spent half an hour just wandering the halls doing nothing, really.
I walked through the classroom door, my first period. The teacher was Hispanic, the name Mr. Ramirez sitting atop of his desk in a neat slide. He asked me to take a seat, and unfortunately, there was only one empty.
It was next to a boy, but around him were Gray, Bruce, Benji, River, and Tanner. I took a seat next to him.
The boy was skinny, had glasses, and he had floppy brown hair, but other than that, he had defined cheekbones and jawline. The desks were paired up in two's, so I was merely inches away from him. At some point, a note was passed on to me and I had no idea where it came from, I know it didn't come from the guys for a fact. It came from in front of me.
I opened it, reading the words that were scribbled on there.
I looked at him and saw how he repeatedly tapped his finger on the table. Not like the way if somebody was impatient, but as if it was unstoppable. I scribbled on my notebook before passing it towards him. He read it, before scribbling down a reply. We had a conversation just like that. It turns out his name was Eloy and he has ticks, which is a reason why people think of him as an unusual being.
He has humor I'll tell you that. Anyways, at some point, class ended with me learning nothing at all. I walked out into the hallways and after only a few seconds, I heard the ruckus of a large crowd. I turned around and saw Eloy, and not in a good way. He was held by his collar and it looked like he wanted to cry, his Adam's apple bopping up in down.

I looked at the person responsible, and it was a girl. No, she wasn't your cliché blonde bimbo Barbie doll. She was tall for a girl, around my height, five-six to be exact. She wore baggy pants with an oversized hoodie, and her brunette hair was tied in a bun.
"Stop stuttering stupid!" She yelled at Eloy. Nobody dared to step in, not even the guys who were watching in the background behind the crowd. I just made a fricking friend, and friends stick up for each other, right? So I walked towards her, shoving my book bag at Benji, who tried to stop me, a panicked look on his face. I continued on until I finally shoved the girl off Eloy.
I wasn't gonna be unfair and snake her behind her back.
And she was dead ass heavy too.
The hallway stayed silent, people looking at me as if I made the biggest mistake of my life, but I didn't care, it was an unfair match between her and Eloy, I had to step in. She looked at me, adjusting her baggy pants. I knew what that meant, so I decided to tie my hair in a messy bun. Right when I finished, not even a second passed before she lunged at me. She used her weight to her advantage, making us both fall on the floor.
I hit my head pretty hard and my vision instantly got blurry. She straddled my waist, trying to throw punches at my face, but I used my forearms to my defense.
I wasn't going to let this bitch win.
Right when she pulled her arm back, I gave her a good punch in the jaw and pushed her off me. She got up quickly, charging towards me but I gave her an uppercut before she could make any contact whatsoever. She doubled over, so I took that chance to knee her in the face. Her nose started bleeding, gushing and seeping from her nose. Before I could hurt her even more, somebody pulled me off. I struggled at first, trying to get the arms off of me.

I stopped trying when I knew I couldn't get away from the security guard that had a tight grip on me.
You can guess, I got sent to the Principal's office.

By the time our discussion ended, it was my lunch period, so I made my way towards the cafeteria. Word got around quick that I had beaten up the girl, whose name I found out was Kegan. And once I entered the cafeteria, the silence took over. I was just standing there until I saw a hand shot up in the sky, signaling me over.
Bruce.
I proceeded walking and people began chatting again. I sat down in between Bruce and Benji, who handed me my book bag back.
"That was so fucking awesome," Tanner said, picking at his teeth with a toothpick.
"Kegan's always been a bitch, you're the first that has actually confronted her... Successfully at least." Benji added, taking a sip of his soda can.
"So, why did you stand up for the freak?" River asked, putting his palms under his chin, resting his elbows on the lunch table.
"Because he's my friend idiot. And for your information, his name is Eloy." I snapped back.
"Fiesty," Bruce mumbles, earning him a pull to the ear. After a bit of conversation, I turn around, only to see Eloy coming in through the cafeteria doors. I wave him over, and he silently comes, hand on his neck whilst looking down. I pushed Bruce and Benji a bit apart from me, making space for Eloy to sit. He abruptly does, looking around while his hand was still rubbing on his neck.
His ticks started and he uncontrollably started twitching his head, so I put my hand on his shoulder and he slowly calmed down. He took that moment to look up, only to look back down when he saw that we were all staring at him.
"Sit straight boy," Benji said, pulling Eloy's shoulders back so he wasn't slumped forward.
"Let's fix the hair," Tanner said, the hair God. He stood up, and walks to the other side of the table, using his fingers to comb through Eloy's hair. "Voila."
"Let's fix this collar too," Bruce said, unfolding Eloy's shirt collar.
"Get the hoe's."

Where did I wake up?
A pretty standard story about a man that gets transferred to a new world, and gains a system to help him survive. This is pretty close to the first draft of this story, so there will be grammar mistakes until I get down to fixing them. Synopsis, genre and tags will also change as I get more writing done. I will try to release two to three short chapters a week. I don't own the cover image; it is just something I found online.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey. The cover image was drawn by minyaxj, per my request, on a commercial license.

Real Fake World
An original fiction of the Isekai sort, people being sent to another world. I go back in time and send my whole classroom into the other world, as heroes, it might be overly biased and not make a lot of sense in a few parts, I wrote it in a hurry long ago, so enjoy, 1 chapter per day.
