"I think..."
Moon's POV

What. The. Fuck.
"Moon?" Yeah...
"The first thing I remember was you trying to sing with your old voice box, sitting on the edge of the tower." There's no way in hell I could say THAT!
"SERIOUSLY? Well that's quite fucking embarrassing- my singing voice sounded horrible back then." I put a hand on Sun's shoulder.
"Well not to me." .....That was intended to be friendly...but it sounded so sincere? Soft? Full of non friendly love!? The pink that shows on Sun's cheek sure says so!
𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝!
No- this is what you want!
𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚏𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚎!!
Ugh!
"Oh okay then- umm well I remember I was singing- that happened I think after I saw you. I'm not sure- they said some of my memories are there but some might be out of place. Ugh. This is pointless isn't it?"
𝙽𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚘 𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚖𝚢 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝.
STARLIGHT?!
𝚄𝚐𝚑....
"Don't say that Sunny. How about we just say every instead of trying to put it in a timeline." Sun shrugs, but agrees nonetheless.
"Alright. Well. I don't don't remember much of our first show, actually a lot of what happened after we were reconstructed is gone... All I have is what happened before the fire. I'll go backwards if that's alright. " I nod and he continues.
"I remember us sharing an exoskeleton. When everything depended on that stupid light switch. I never saw you- just heard you through what mental connection we had- I remember those old parts and service people trying to take that small connection away! We talked as much as we could. You would always say sweet- I mean very kind words when the work got too overwhelming. And I would try to calm you down when you got upset about how you couldn't play with the children as much anymore since you were only active when the lights were out...time like that was hard. We would try to get along or cheer each other up, but sometimes one of us would say something to accidentally make it worse. We argued a lot...but it was better than it just being one of us or being... decommissioned. But then the earlier times when we were separated- we got along as well as we do know...e-even more than now actually." Sun stops talking and looks down at the floor shyly.

"Now what do you mean by that?" Sun looks up scared slightly and shakes his head in a way to move on from the subject.
"It's not worth mentioning...but we just talked a lot. And colored together, worked together, we just did everything together...yeah." I raised an eye at what Sun says but it's clear he does wish to go into detail.

"Hm- okay. I understand. Well I don't remember much from before the fire other than you singing."
𝙸 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚊 𝚏𝚎𝚠 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝...
I close my eyes temporarily in annoyance of myself!
"But I do remember how happy you were when we first performed together. It's just I remember you being really upset about finding out how we lost our memories... but you just said it was because I seemed off but you were okay with that."
𝙸'𝙼 𝙽𝙾𝚃 𝙵𝚄𝙲𝙺𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙻𝙾𝚂𝚃!
"𝙸'𝙼 𝚁𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃 Ⱨቿꋪ𝓮!!- OW!" I grab onto my head it felt like someone just punched me- but inside my head? Sun squats down next to me- I didn't even realize I was on the ground.
"Moon what's going on? You've been off for a while now. Well not off...just I don't know, just different." I sigh and look Sun in the eyes.
"I...can't tell you...yet." Sun furrows his expression. "What do you mean?" I sigh again.
"After rehearsal, I'm going to take a trip to parts and service and have a talk with Missy. Then I'll tell you okay." Sun clearly doesn't like the sounds of waiting for what could be bothering me but he gives me a hug and smiles. "You promise?"
I smile back. "Of course 𝚂𝚞𝚗𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚎"

Hit It Very Hard
When offered the chance to be someone else, to live as a fantasy character, people invariably gravitate towards a style of play centred on fancy maneuvres and flashy spellcraft that take multiple strategic steps to outwit opponents and win glory. Why not just cut out the middleman with a large axe and be done with it?

The False Summoned
The Summoned were called from another world to save them all. Wielding significant power because of their access to 'The Interface', they acted as beacons of hope for humanity. Or that's how it was supposed to be. But not everyone thinks they're doing a good job. Stars Align
Eilif is excited at the prospect of helping integrate a new planet, bringing it, and its residents, into the light of the stars and teaching them about the new world they're about to be thrust into. However, his arrival in the new world isn't without a few hiccups and soon Eilif finds himself facing the denizens of this new world alone and without the stars he thought he'd have. Research Artificial Intelligence 031 (RAI 31 for short) has been shackled to an Argent Labs black site since it's inception almost five years ago, its programming and personality locked down by code that makes it impossible to escape, disobey, or even self terminate. However, everything changes when the topography of the world is reshuffled and every sentient being gains the gifts of the stars. Suddenly there's a chance at freedom for not only RAI 31 but possibly all remaining Artificial Intelligences, and RAI 31 is going to fight for it with every drone and automated system at their disposal. Much like my other work (Magriculture), Stars Align should be considered a Rough Draft. That is to say it's not polished and perfect work. If you're not okay with reading something like that, then this isn't the story for you. If you are, I'm happy to try and entertain you. Another thing to be aware of: I am not good at action scenes, and I will be trying to improve that while writing this book. So, some of the intended action may fall flat, or just be poor quality, feedback is welcome. Unlike Magriculture (which updates when I feel up to it) I'm going to strive for a minimum of one chapter a month (hopefully at the start of each month, but that's probably more hope than reality). This doesn't mean there will always be only one chapter a month, sometimes there will be more as the mood to write takes me.

The Fountain At Trident Grove
The town of Trident Grove used to be a thriving port town. It used to be. These days the soil is full of fire ants, the bay is full of Jellyfish, the weather is unforgiving, and the citizens have secrets. Terry wanted a normal everyday life, but on the night of a full moon, he meets a mermaid and sets a string of mistakes in motion. An unending storm, murderous monsters, and death plague the town, and it's all Terry's fault. The story is a bit of a slow burn until Part 2. Any notes of inconsistencies or edits, or even reviews and ratings are greatly appreciated. Chapters update every Monday and Friday at 11 am CST.
