《SSBU Headcanons》Smash Question : Pit/ Dark Pit

This is relating to Kid Icarus Uprising a tad bit but for some reason people ship Pit and Dark Pit together. I won't judge but I'm just confused, aren't they literal clones of each other? Also, Dark Pit barely tolerates him so the relationship wouldn't work, he ain't no tsundere either.
At least people don't ship Palutena and Pit often... honestly that ship terrifies me.
If you ship Pitcest (thats the ship name) or Pit X Palutena, that's totally fine by the way! I'm not here to judge, just questioning how it would work.
