~he doesn't like your attitude~
~There will be a few parts to this one~
Age 14
The last date of wonder: the tour finally came around and you couldn't be more excited to finally see your dad, Shawn. You hadn't seen him in 6 months, of course you skyped and used other social media to contact each other but it doesn't compare to being with him in person but you always knew he would always be there for you and support you. You missed him a lot and you had recently turned 14. However your dad missed your birthday because he had a show in America the night before and then his flight was cancelled due to weather conditions. You were mad and upset at him but he apologised and promised you could celebrate, just the two of you, when he got back. Not long after your birthday, you were more moody and gave more attitude to your mum, who would tell your dad on the phone later that night when you were asleep. Your dad didn't want to believe that you, who was always happy and polite, was rude to your mum and he found it easy to not believe it since he had never witnessed it before. He was coming home later tonight so you decided to finally clean your room and get ready for his arrival. All the family was coming over today, grandma Karen and grandpa Manny and auntie Aaliyah and some others.
"y/n, sweetheart, are you excited to see your father after so long?" Grandma Karen asked you as you stared out of the living room window in your blue ripped skinny jeans and Nike cropped t-shirt with a jumper tied around your waist.
"yeah , i've missed him a lot grandma" you replied softly. You were going to try to have a good attitude for when your dad got back and so far it was going great.

Not even five minutes later, the front door opened and you dad walked in with his luggage and a large smile that was directed towards your mother. You watched as he hugged her tightly, telling her how much he missed and loved her. "Hi dad!" you said as you walked to his side and he pulled you into a weak hug and turned to your grandparents and greeted them.
Throughout the night you felt very ignored, and left out and your dad would barely speak to you and ignored you most of the time. Eventually you decided to just go up to your room and only came back downstairs to get food. You decided to ignore your dad just as he had done to you that night.
