I walked into my dads music room after I had finished my school work for the day, because I was bored. I've been at home every day now and it's boring. My dad had gone on a walk with auntie Aaliyah with Tarzan and Oreo, as much as I wanted to go I couldn't, so mum was watching me for a bit. I quietly shut the door behind me and looked at his guitars. There was a lot of them here. I picked up the one he always played. The taylor guitar. I sat down and started strumming it. Before I put it down and put his headphones on and pressed a button which caused music to come through. I sat there listening to the song and dancing in my seat before I felt someone place their large hands on my shoulders. I turned around and saw my dad with a small smile on his face.

I took the headphones off and placed them down and smiled at my dad

"What are you doing in here honey?"

"I finished my school work and wanted to play a guitar but I don't know how to"

"I can teach you if you want"

"Really?!"

"Yeah. C'mon sit down."

We sat down on the floor and he put a guitar on my lap. He moved my fingers to the right places.

"This is a G" he explained and i strummed it and looked back at him. He then Taught me a few other chords as well before my fingers started to hurt so we stopped and decided to do more tomorrow. Maybe being stuck at home isn't such a bad thing.
