~night away~
Your POV:
I sat on the sofa at grandma Karen and grandpa's house, watching Aladdin. I was getting ready for bed and I already had my bath and dinner so now it was relaxing time. I cuddled into my blanket more, trying not to cry. I was trying to be a big girl and spend the night at grandma and grandpa's house but I missed my mummy and daddy a lot.
"It's time for bed now sweetie" grandma said
"Okay"
I got up and walked upstairs to my daddy's old bedroom, where I was staying for the night, with grandma following behind.
I climbed under the covers and she said goodnight and kissed my head before she walked out pulling the door shut.
I looked around the room, seeing my dads old things and sighed. I really missed daddy. Within minutes I had tears streaming down my face while my bottom lip trembled. I got out of bed and climbed downstairs to go find grandma. But when I got downstairs I saw grandpa turn his head towards me.
"Y/n/n? What's wrong?" He asked picking me up.
"I- I miss daddy and m-mummy"
"Should we call them?"
I nodded and he pulled his phone out as grandma came back in from the bathroom.
"Y/n? Are you okay?" She asked
"I miss daddy and mummy"
"Aww darling, it's okay"
Grandpa handed me his phone and told me they'd be in the other room if I needed them.
I looked at the phone to see it ringing before my dads face popped on the screen. He frowned when he saw I had been crying.
"Y/n? Are you okay love?"
"I miss you and mummy"
"Aww darling, do you want to come home or stay with grandma and grandpa?"

"Will I still be a big girl if I come home?"
"Of course"
"Can I come home?"
"Okay I'll come get you, can you take the phone to grandpa for me"
I nodded and walked to the other room and handed the phone to grandpa.
I stood there listening to them talking before the hung up.
"Why don't you go get all your things sweetie" grandma says
"Okay"
I ran up the stairs and put everything in my backpack with princess Jasmine on it and zip it up. I put it on my back and grab my blanket and head back downstairs. I sat on the couch and finished watching Aladdin.
Shortly I heard the door open and footsteps.
"Y/n? Mum, dad?" A familiar voice called.
"In the living room Shawn" grandma replied.
"Hey guys" he said walking over to you.
"Thanks for watching her today. We're gonna get going so she can get to bed and Camila isn't feeling the best. Have you got everything darling?"
I nodded and stood up as my dad picked my bag up.
"Come on then. Say bye to grandma and grandpa" dad said
"Bye grandma, bye grandpa"
They said their goodbye and soon I was in the car with my dad.
"You have to be quiet when we get in because mummy's sleeping and she isn't feeling well and your gonna go straight to bed because it's very late"
"Okay daddy" I said quietly before falling asleep.
I groaned as I felt I was being moved,
"Shh, it's okay I'm just taking you to bed, go back to sleep" my dad told me and I allowed myself to fall back asleep.

He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes.
