《My one and only ( Fred Weasley fanfic)》3. Veritaserum

Stella's POV ✨
After being engulfed in a massive hug from Molly, Ginny then helped me take my stuff to her bedroom where we will be sleeping along with Hermione when she arrives later on.
Although the three of us are different age groups, we are still extremely close friends and tell eachother almost everything.
"Stella, you ok? You seem a little spaced out." Ginny stared at me in her intimidating fashion trying to get me to snap out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking thats all." We started to chat for a while, mainly about how Ginny fancies Harry Potter, and how Molly has gone to Diagon Alley to get the rest of our school supplies. We needed dress robes but Molly said we could get them at hogsmeade at some point. We had chatted so long that before we knew it, we were sent down to dinner that would be out in the garden due to the amount of people there are.
It was quite a sight seeing two of the eldest Weasley siblings, Bill and Charlie, playing table wars by levitating the two large tables in the garden and bashing them into each other. But, for the Weasleys its as normal as wizards chess.
"Hey Stella, Long time no see."
I turned round to see no other than Harry standing behind me, and oh merlin he needs a haircut just like Ron.
"Harry! Lovely to see you again mate!" I gave Harry a quick hug before going to sit at one of the two tables next to my brother. Bill and Charlie were told off by Arthur for clattering the tables around. Luckily he caught them before they had a chance to do too much damage.

I looked at the clock on Ginnys wall to see that it was already 8pm. Ginny had just left to go down to the living room and I was just about to go down myself. I just needed to find my pyjama set.

"Ah, why were they over there." I mumbled to myself as I picked the pyjamas off the floor and got changed into them.
Just as I had finished getting changed and were about to leave the room, George came running in with an excited expression on his face.
"Have you got the veritaserum with you?" George stared between me and my trunk hoping I did.
Without saying a word I rummaged through my trunk and found the small green bottle. "Got it. I hope this is getting used for something good. I don't want it wasted Georgie," I hesitantly handed the bottle to George and we both walked down to the living room where everyone, (apart from Arthur, who was down at his workshop and Molly, who was still at Diagon Alley,) were sitting.
"Right everyone you can get back to your knitting later, whos up for a game of truth or dare!" George and I sat amongst everyone else and we started the game.
"Ginny, truth or dare?" George started. Ginny thought for a moment before awnsering.
"Dare." She replied confidently.
"I dare you to sit on Harrys lap for the rest of the game" George sniggered as he watched Ginnys face go as red as a howler. Harry, however, didnt seem to mind and happily let Ginny sit on his knee, much to Georges disappointment.
"Truth or dare Bill," I said looking towards the oldest Weasley in the room.
"Dare." he replied in his calm, yet distinct voice.
I thought for a moment then finally came up with one. "I dare you to sing your favourite song ." Before I knew it, Bill was on his feet singing his heart out to some random song he claimed was "trending", at least he's a good singer.

After Bill finished doing his iconic dance, Oliver then turned to face me and asked "Truth or dare Stella."
All eyes were on me as I decided what to go with.
"Truth." I replied, trying to avoid eye contact with George who was trying to get me to take the Veritaserum, but I was unsuccessful. He handed me the small bottle and I took a small drink out of it.
"Okay Stella, what is your biggest secret?" Oliver asked and immediately everyone went quiet, waiting for me to answer.
"The bruises on my right hip weren't from quidditch like I told you." But before I could continue, I was interrupted by Oliver.
"What do you mean?" Oliver spoke in a slightly concerned tone leaning a little closer in the direction I was sitting.
"I got in a fight"
"With who," Olivers voice raised a little, he told me never to get into fights and if I did I must tell him straight away. But who would follow those rules?
"It's really not that bad. I made it sound horrible. You know, veritaserum also great at overdramatising situations as well as revealing them." I lied attempting to make the situation seem less worrying. "Well, I'm suddenly really thirsty after drinking that veritaserum; must've dried out my throat." I stood up and quickly walked out to the kitchen ignoring Oliver who was still demanding questions.
Ginnys POV ✨
Stella stood up and quickly left the room. "I have no idea why she dates him. She isnt right in the head" Fred muttered while fiddling with a sugar quill from zonkos.
"What are you on about Fred?" George glared at his twin for making the rude remark at a time like this.
"I should probably go check that she is ok." I said as I got off Harrys lap and headed out the lounge and straight to the kitchen where I found Jess taking a glass out the cupboard.
"Stella, Are you ok?" I waited for a response but just got a slight nod. "Maybe we should just go to bed, we are up early tomorrow for the world cup! I'm sure tomorrow will be great and todays conversation down at the lounge will be a thing of the past." But again I got no reply. She will be fine by tomorrow she has just had a long day.
