All the brothers were angry. Their father had made. A reckless decision without informing any of them about it.
"I can't believe you father!" lucas yelled
"Boy! Don't raise your voice at me. I am you father." Sebastian warned with a poisonous glare.
"What kind of a father are you? She is your daughter for God damn sake." Peter interjected.
"Stop this, all of you." Seth yelled at his brothers. He had enough of their rambles. "I am also not happy with feathers decision but that doesn't mean we shout howl and bark like dogs, Leila can probably hear us."
Sebastian sighed, at least he had one reasonable son but he still had to explain to the others which were the remaining sons why he made such a decision.
"I'm sorry father but this doesn't make sense to any of us. Why would you give out Leila?" Perez asked calmly. Sometimes he acted too mature for his age.
"It is for her safety." Sebastian said again.
"Can you explain further?" Killian spoke out he had been trying to keep his anger in check.
"The Russians barely know about our alliance with the Sicilians. She's safer there."
"Well, better or not, that man should make sure he doesn't hurt my sister or else his fave would be not so perfect anymore." Lucas growled and stormed off.
"Your so has quite a temper." Killian told his father and left but from the calmness of his voice... You could tell that he was steaming inside.
All the other sons left and it was only Seth and his father standing there but the were backing themselves.
"I understand father but I'm still not happy with all of this."
"I know son. I didn't have any other choice."

"Aren't you not curious why he easily agreed to take her?" Seth said. But before his father could give him an answer he left.

Leila was in her room crying.
She heard her brothers and her father arguing and she hated it. It rarely happened and when it did, she hated it.
Her face was buried in her pillow when Killian walked in. He knew she was crying because he could see that her pillow was damp so he lowered himself to her bed gently and drew circles on her back.
Gradually, she lifted her head from her pillow and sat on her bed right beside Killian.
He patted her disheveled hair back in place until she finally looked up to met his bright green eyes.
"Are you still angry?" she asked
"And why would you think I would be?" he asked her acting clueless.
"I heard you. You didn't sound happy when you were talking to papa" she muttered.
"Enough with the questions Leila." he told her with a stern voice.
"You should relax Killian. You're still my favorite brother." she was trying to ease the tension.
He smiled weakly at her and kissed her forehead." I'll see you later OK?" he told her and she nodded

The Forgotten Hero
Long ago, in the world of Thyne, the Alliance of the Free Races, a name they had given themselves, summoned a hundred humans from another dimension. Praised as heroes by the people, they rejoiced that they had been able to acquire pure, mana deficient humans that wanted to aid them in their time of need, ignoring the black, archaic slave collars around their necks or the depressed, almost hate-filled expressions that they received when interacting with them. After Ten years of bloody war, the dark races were pushed back deep into their territories. Both sides were near breaking point and desperate to end the war once and for all. In a bargain, the twelve surviving heroes launched a high-risk mission, utilising advanced tactics from their home world to kill the Demon Lord. In exchange, they would be sent home, along with the magically preserved corpses of their comrades, though in truth, they knew that even if they returned, they would never be the same. Legends say that, upon ambushing the Demon Lord in his castle, they finally understood the plight of the world, and in the last act of heroism, sacrificed their lives, sealing him in an eternal prison so his essence would not be able to create another. With the loss of the Demon Lord, and no chance for another to be born, the dark races quickly surrendered and the free races celebrated, honouring the noble sacrifice of the heroes before quickly forgetting about them as they returned to their everyday lives. However, legends are rarely truthful, embellished by the victors in order to earn praise as well as hide the less desirable aspects of their deeds. Trapped in the Demon Lord's throne room inside the Demonic Palace, which even taking a single step on its desecrated grounds is punished by death, two figures remain motionless. They had long run out of insults and threats to trade and now they waited. For what, not even the Gods knew.
