"Thanks for the ride mister!" I yelled at a man who took us kindly to Balbadd in his wagon. He dropped us off just on the out skirts of the city right next to a brick building.
"Anytime, make sure to have a save trip!" he yelled back waving.
"We will!" Quinn yelled waving back, Isabelle was laying on the ground all depressed.
"Isabelle, get off of the ground, we had to get up early if we want to get to Sindria." I said squating down next to her.
"But I'm tired." she whinned like she was dying. I sighed and pulled out a big plump mango that I had in my bag on my back.
"Fine then I guess I have to eat this mango all by myself." I said standing up and started to walk away.
"3, 2, 1." Quinn started to count down knowing what is going to happen next.
"Wait I'm not that tired, please don't eat the mango on me." Isabelle said standing up quick acting all energetic.
"You and your stupid food addiction." I said with a sigh and threw the mango to her. She caught it and was about to eat it until she saw a women walked towards us.
"Hey, is she ok?" Isabelle said pointing to the women. She was very skinny and dirty. She also had a baby with her, it's small arm hanging out of the blanket. It was has small as a twig.
"Is that baby dead." I thought as I ran to her.
"Ma'am are you ok?" I asked as she collapsed in my arms. She was so weak, I pointed to the baby for Quinn to take it so I can help her. Quinn quickly took the baby checking to see if it still alive while I layed the women down and check her pulse. I felt nothing, not a single pulse.
"S-she's dead." I said moving my hands away from the body, I looked up at Isabelle who was next to Quinn checking the baby to see if the baby was still alive. She looked at me and shook her head letting me know that we were to late to save it. At that moment anger and sadness corrupted my mind. I stood up with my hair covering my face. I walked over next to the building as the other two just stood and watched. Tears started to beam my eyes blurring my vision.
"Who could do such a thing to an innocent mother and child." I said balling my hands into a fist. The two girls sat the baby next to the mother, Quinn pulled a blanket out of her bag and covered them so we wouldn't have to see the horrible scene anymore.
"Ahhhhh!" I yelled in anger punching the brick building putting a crater into the wall. I couldn't hold the tears in anymore, they slowly fell down my face. I slump to the ground sobbing, as the other two came to me trying to get me to calm down.
"Ashlin there was nothing we could do." Isabelle said hugging me. Quinn sat down next to me patting my back. They were trying to hold back the tears as well, but some still escaped, slowly going down there faces. Isabelle released her hug and stood up pulling me with her.
"Come on, we can't stay here or we are going to miss our ride." she said pullingn me along with Quinn on our heels. I turned my head to look back at the mother and child, only to feel guilty for not giving them a proper burial. We walked around the busy streets of the city not saying a single thing to one another. I still hung my head, looking down at the bag at my side that had the dragon egg safely tucked away in. I bumped into someone making me fall down on to my butt.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." I slowly looked up to see a young man the same age has me looking down at me. He had short blonde hair and golden eyes, he wore a small red rope around is neck. He had a kind smile in his face until it vanished his eyes full of concern.
"Hey, are you ok miss, your eyes are all red." said a voice behind the blonde boy. A kid about 10 came out, he had blue hair in a braid that went down to the ground and deep blue eyes, he had a cloth wrapped around his head with a small red jewel on his forehead. I looked behind me to see my friends, but they weren't there. I started to panicking a little quickly getting up looking around frantically for my friends.
"Calm down, were not going to hurt you." said another boy with dark blue hair, he had blue eyes one lighter than the other and his left side of his face had a burn mark on it, I'm guessing he's about 17.
"Sorry, I just notice my friends are missing." I said wiping my eyes to get rid of the extra tears.
"We'll help you find them." said a young girl, she had pinkish red hair in a side ponytail and red eyes, she had an emotionless face but her eyes showed concern for me.(there's a picture at the beginning for you to see what they look like)
"Thanks." I said looking down again remembering the scene from earlier.
"What's wrong?" Said the little blue headed boy.
"It's just that I saw something that I wish I never did see." I said holding my arms to my chest. I looked at the boy but he had a weird expression on his face, the next thing I know he jumps at me making me fall onto the ground, hitting my head.
"Ow, that h-" I said but stopped mid sentence feeling something squishing my boob's, I looked to see him with is face shoved into my chest playing with them.
"YOU PERVERT!!!" I yelled grabbing him and throwing him off onto he ground. I quickly stood up and covered my chest with my arms, my face red from embarrassment.
"I'm sorry about that." Said the dark blue haired boy. I sighed, checking my bag to see if the egg was ok.
"Thank god, it didn't break." I thought covering the egg back up.
"Sorry, we never told you our names, I'm Alibaba, and the boy you just threw is Aladdin." Alibaba said pointing at him.
"My name is Hakuryuu, and the girl is Morginna." Hakuryuu said standing next to Morginna.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Ashlin, anyways I think it's a good idea to go find my friends sense we have never been here before." I said with a warm smile.
"Sure we'll help you find them." Aladdin said grabbing my wrist and running off dragging me with him.
"Aladdin, wait for us." Alibaba said chasing after us.
*********** time skip 3 hours*********
"Still no sign of them." I said as we walked through the streets, then I finally spotted the two standing in front of a fruit stand.
"And if course we would find them were there is food." I said sweat dropping. I slowly crept up on them and grabbed there shoulders.
"What do you think your doing." I said scaring the crap out of them. They turned to she me lying on the ground laughing.

"You should of saw your faces." I said inbetween laughs.
"Haha, very funny, were did you go, me and Isabelle have been looking for you, you just disappeared." Quinn said glaring at me as I got up off the ground.
"I was going to ask the same question." I said smiling at her. Isabelle stood behind her with a basket full of fruit, I just sweatdopped.
"Does this girl ever stop eating." I thought has she stuffed a banana into her mouth.
"Hey, Ashlin, so these are your friends?" Alibaba said walking up to us with the others.
"Yeah, the girl with the basket full of fruit is Isabelle and the girl next to me is Quinn." I said pointing to the each of them.
"Nice to meet you." Quinn and Isabelle said at the same time.
"You guys this is Alibaba, Aladdin, Hakuryuu, and Morginna." I said pointing to each of the members in the group. They all smiled and waved a hello.
"So why are you here anyways." Aladdin asked putting his hands behind is back and smiled at me.
"We decided to go to Sindria, sense we kinda had to leave Madonia." I said sheepishly rubbing the back of my head. They all looked at us confused.
"That's great then we get to travel together because we're heading to Sindria, too." Hakuryuu said patting my shoulder.
"Really?" I asked looking at them. They all shook there heads yes, I thought for awhile until I finally spoke.
"Alright, I guess we will all travel together." I said looking at my two best friends, the smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Ashlin, why did you and your friends have to leave Madonia?" Morginna asked with a serious gaze. I froze at her question as well as the other two, we looked at each other not sure if it's a good idea to tell them.
"Well, I think it's best not to tell you with so many people around." Quinn said with a small smile. They all looked at each other and nodded.
"The ship was delayed, so it ain't leaving until tomorrow afternoon, we should go find an inn to stay at for the night." Hakuryuu said
"Follow me, I know where we can stay." Alibaba said as we followed him. We turned a couple of corners until we came to a fancy inn.
"Um, this place looks really pricey." Said Isabelle as she stared at the building.
"Are you forgetting that we have money now." Quinn said playfully punching her shoulder.
"You guys don't worry we'll pay for it." Alibaba said taking out a bunch of money.
"Oh, are you sure that's ok with you guys?" I asked a little unsure if that's fine with them, they nodded.
"Yea it's fine." Aladdin said runing into the inn. We walked in and got one room to save money, which two of us will be sleeping on the floor. We were on the second floor and the room was big full of fancy chairs and curtains. We set our bags on the floor next to the door.
"Wow, I have never been in an inn like this before." Quinn said running to the bedroom which had five beds in it. She jumped onto one of them, stuffing her face into a pillow. I did the same has her.
"There so comfy." I said rolling over onto my back.
"So, as I said earlier, why did you have to leave Madonia?" Morginna asked again. I stood from the bed and walked over to the bags and grabbed the one with the egg.
"Let's sit in a circle on the floor." I said walking to the center of the living room and sat down. Aladdin sat on my left and Alibaba on my right, Hakuryuu sat next to Alibaba with Morginna on his other side. Isabelle sat next to Aladdin with Quinn on her other side. I set the medium size bag in front of me, opening it to revel the egg wrapped in a cloth to keep it warm.
"What is that?" Hakuryuu asked confused.
"It's an egg." Quinn said with a smile. I unwrapped it revealing the ruby red egg, setting it down in the middle of the circle.
"What kind of egg is it?" Alibaba asked grabbing the egg gently and putting it in his lap. He roled it around in his lap looking at it trying to figure out what it is, I smiled.
"He looks cute, wait what." I thought feeling my face turn a light pink. I quickly shook my head getting rid of the idea.
"That's egg is the reason why we had to leave, well it was me who had to they just came with, if I didn't leave the citizens would of smashed it." I explained taking the egg back.
"This egg is a rare kind of animal that you don't see often because they were hunted down to almost extinction." Quinn add.
"Hunted down to almost extinction, are you saying this thing is dangerous." Aladdin asked leaning forward looking at the egg.
"That's what people say, but they were wild animals so they were afraid of us humans." I said handing it to Hakuryuu. He studied it for awhile until he look at me with wide eyes.
"This is a dragon egg, isn't it." he said look back down at the egg. Isabelle and Quinn smiled while Alibaba and Morginna where shocked, Aladdin was just plan confused.
"What's a dragon?" Aladdin asked really confused.
"It's basically a gaint reptile with wings." Isabelle said summing it up for him. Aladdin nodded his head understanding.
"How did you get this." Alibaba asked.
"Yeah, you promised you would tell me after we captured that dungeon." Isabelle said crossing her arms, everyone went silent.
"Wait, you captured a dungeon?" Morginna finally said. Isabelle and I nodded.
"No way, me and Hakuryuu captured one as well." Alibaba said grabbing my hands, happy to know that I'm a fellow dungeon capturer. I blushed a little because of how close his face was to mine. He looked at me confused at my sudden red face until he noticed why. His face flushed red as he quickly backed away.
"S-sorry!" He said quickly looking away, I did the same.
"It's fine." I said composing myself. Isabelle and Quinn were grinning like a mad man, I glared at them.
"What dungeon was it that you captured?" Hakuryuu asked getting rid of the awkward moment.
"Anglia, the gardian of the heavens." Isabelle said with a smile.
"Wow, that's great." Aladdin said with a big smile. Then a bunch of Rukh started to flow around him. I was shocked at how many where surrounding him. He looked at me worried.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"It's nothing don't worry about, we should probably head to sleep, the sun's going down." I said taking the egg from Hakuryuu, wrapping it back in the blanket, and putting in back into the bag.
"I call dibs on one of the beds." Quinn said quickly running into the room. The others got up and ran to the beds to get one. I walked in to see that me and Alibaba didn't get one.
"Well I guess we will be sleeping on the floor." Alibaba said rubbing the back of his head with a goofy grin. I titled my head to the side with a with a teasing smile.
"What do you mean WE have to sleep on the floor, do you mean YOU have to." I said teasing him. He looked at me confused.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked crossing his arms.
"I'm sleeping on the sofa if you don't mind." I said quickly running out of the room to the sofa. I can hear Alibaba say my name as I rushed out of the room. I sat down on the sofa laughing while a frustrated Alibaba walked to the living room with a blanket and layed down on the blanket. I could hear him grumbling about how everyone treats him like trash and other things as well. I just smiled to myself, grabbing the pillow and laying down.
"Good night, Alibaba." I said sleepishly.
"Night, Ashlin." he said before I fell into a deep sleep.

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
