《Magi Judar x Reader Oneshots》۞ Judar x Reader: Priest

Everything was well today. Weather's good, it wasn't too hot or too cold. The officials and the citizens were doing their works, minding their respective businesses.
All was well except for you. Here you are again, stuck with babysitting duty. It would have been good and all if you were in charge of an adorable baby but a young man with a childish mind?
If you were allowed to quit, you wouldn't be in this situation.
For the umpteenth time of the week, here you are chasing after the black-haired Magi of the Kou Empire once again.
"Priest-sama!" you called after him, struggling to fly using the carpet.
Meanwhile, he flew with such ease through the help of his gravity magic.
"For the last time, (First Name), I told you to call me Judar!" he yelled back at you, visibly annoyed.
"Like I said... I can't, even if I wanted to," you rolled your eyes at his childish behavior. "Priest-sama, please just return with me. Did you forget already? Her Majesty summons you today."
"(First Name), I won't go until you call me by my name."
You pouted, starting to get annoyed at his antics. "Fine then, have it your way. I'd rather tell the Empress that you're not going than me disobeying the Organization's orders."
"Even if that hag will punish you in my stead?" he asked.
"Even so," you said.
Uninvited, the memories of the past instances flashed in your mind. The memories when the Empress punished you severely for failing to do what she ordered or what the Black Magi wanted. Of course, no one else knew about this aside from you and the Empress herself.
Emerged with such thoughts as if the punishments happened just yesterday, you didn't even notice it yourself that you were already crying.

Judar flew back to you, "(First Name), what's wrong?"
"Nothing is," you stammered, wiping your tears with your sleeve.
"Tch, that hag... What the hell did she do to you?!" his hands on your shoulder, trying to get you to look at him.
"Sh— Her Majesty didn't do anything at all." Suffice to say, it took a lot of willpower for you to claim that without stuttering over your own words.
"You think I'd believe such an obvious lie? Try saying that again while looking at me," he demanded, his hand on your chin, directing your gaze at his red-ringed eyes.
"I-I... I'm sorry, Judar..."
Seeing you wouldn't continue any longer as you were in the process of calming yourself, Judar pulled you closely, hugging you.
"(First Name)," when he pulled away, a smirk was there on his lips. "You called me Judar."
Your eyes widened as realization hits you, "Gaaaahh!" you panicked. "Don't tell anyone or else I'm gonna punch you in the face!"
"Sure, sure," he was smiling genuinely, satisfied that he finally got to hear you say his name. "But in return, you have to call me that when it's just us," he whispered to you.
"Whatever, Priest-sama. We're already late so let's go," you said as you headed back first with Judar trailing behind you.
"(First Name), come on!"
