"Uhm.. M-May I be excused?" You quietly asked. "Well.. yes, and Uhm..." salad fingers said, then turned to the boy. "You seem full.. and Uhm.. Landy, may you show him the door?" Salad fingers asked. He seemed like he wanted the boy out quickly as possible. "Uh, sure?" You replied. You slowly walked up to the boy. "Lets, Uhm.. lets go." You said. The boy growled at you. "Mm.." you stepped back. Salad fingers stared uncomfortably at the both of us, the boy turned back to salad fingers. "It was a treat for you to join us for supper, l-little boy.. but you seemed finished with your fried sand.. you may l-leave now.." he said.
The boy made a sound, quietly. "I'm sorry, I-I didn't get that.." salad fingers whispered. You grabbed the boys hand. "Common, we have to-" the boy bit your hand and hissed. "Owe!" You pushes the boy back and you fell to the ground. Your hand started dripping blood. The boy had bitten your hand like a horse. Salad fingers gasped, and ran towards you. "Landy! Ah, are you alright!?" Salad asked. "N-not.. really!" You said, holding your wound. Salad fingers turned to the boy, and shouted at him. Your vision on blurry, but you can see the boy crying and run away.
Then, you where in your family's house. You and your family had moved from (Your country) to the UK (if you don't live in the UK. If you do, say you just moved to another house In the UK). Your new house was small, but quite wonderful. It was Christmas Day. You, your parents and siblings gathered around the tree opening up Christmas presents.
You slowly opened your eyes to see salad fingers infront of you. You were on a bed, with your hand wrapped with some kind of cloth. "Oh splendid, your awake (y/n)." Salad Fingers cheerfully said. He was sitting against the wall in front of the bed you laid on. You where so nauseous it took you a moment to realize he finally called you your real name again, not landy.

"Are you feeling alright?" Salad questioned. You nodded. Salad fingers pulled up his hand. Majory was on one of his fingers. He pulled her to his ear, then pulled back out. "O-oh.." He said. "Majory would like to speak to you, a-alone." He said. "Oh.. Uhm.. alright?" You replied. He set the puppet down on your knees, then walked out of the room. You sat awkwardly for a moment. Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyooooou mussssttt leave.
A voice slowly screeched in your head. You pressed your hands against your head and closed your eyes.
Eeeeeeeeeechhhhhhhhhh.....
You opened your eyes, and saw Majory standing up infront of you. You pushed your body back, shocked and scared. "I-I-" you shook your head, then heard the door open. You opened your eyes and saw salad fingers standing in the doorway. Majory was back on your lap, and back as a finger puppet. "Are you done?" He questioned. "Uh-Uhm.." you stood up and ran out of the room in fear.

Child of the Ancients: An Apocalypse LitRPG
It all started in the middle of Dante's nap. He wanted to sleep his life away, but the system denied his request. Instead, it began to transform the Earth, integrating it into the multiverse by granting everyone stats and skills. He was talented, or so the system thought. And that meant he needed to be challenged. After being sent into a deadly cavern, Dante strives for the future he's always desired. But when he learns about the secrets hidden within him, he's shaken to his very core. He wishes for the nightmare to end until something goes wrong. [The world will end in one year.] Instead of everyone receiving a relatively gentle tutorial, the people of Earth are deemed redundant. Dante makes it his goal to save as many people as he can before the world ends, but with billions of lives at stake, he might have to turn into a monster before he can become a hero. Planned updates (2500+ words): M/W/F. 12pm AEST/ 9am EST. M-F during Writeathon. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: All system apocalypse novels seem to jump straight over the apocalypse itself, which I find very sad. I don't want this to turn into a typical fantasy novel in about ten chapters. Instead, I hope to explore the destruction of society and how things would look if superpowers suddenly appeared in the real world. Before the real apocalypse happens, of course. There will be base building, and likely romance once things settle down. Also dragons, because they are awesome :)
