I have been going to hang out with Amaya's friends for a while now and she still barely talks to me.

We go to the same café every time and I never know what to order so she does it for me. I love it.

There are times she isn't there but I get to know more about her group and they are all nice so I don't mind it. Of course, I like it more when she is there but I can't have everything.

I am currently waiting for Cameron to pick me up because he is going to pick up Blake so he said he would pick me up too. I could've gone myself but he insisted for some reason.

I head downstairs and into the kitchen when one of the guards comes in, "boss, Mr. Cole is here."

I get why that would surprise them but I give him the green light to let Cameron in.

"Hey, mother fucker," Cam greets, walking into the kitchen with the guard behind him.

I nod at the guard to leave and turn to Cameron, "so is she going to be there?"

"Yup but I would advise you to get Ash on your side because she isn't the biggest fan of yours after the shit you pulled. You will need her approval and help to get Amaya back," he explains.

"I want Amaya to get back with me because she wants to not because people tell her to," I sigh.

"Yeah but let's say she wants to right; she will go to Ash to tell her about it and Ash will talk her out of it cause... Well, she doesn't like you. You made her best friend cry," he presses his lips together.

He is right. I need to get Ash to like me.

While I make coffee, Enzo walks in and halts when his eyes land on Cameron and they light up a little. Aww.

"Hi," Cameron squeaks out.

Enzo smiles, "Hey."

They stare at each other and I stare at them.

"Long time," Enzo nods, walking over to the cabinet and getting a cup.

"Yeah," Cameron lets out a nervous laugh.

Enzo fills his cup with black coffee, not saying anything. He leans against the counter and looks at Cameron.

"I missed you..."

Cameron lets out a grin, "I missed you too." I don't know why I am here.

I walk out of the kitchen to let them catch up. They were always close to each other and when Enzo told me he had feelings for Cameron I wasn't that shocked cause they would look at one another like they were in love.

They were going to get together but the Amara thing happened and Cam stopped talking to us.

He never went to college; he would work all the time and he got really far.

He is just a year older than us but he had a lot of responsibility because he wanted to make sure Amara was happy.

When I got with Jen, Cam was 18 and Enzo wanted to wait till he was 18 to go out with Cameron so when everything happened, Enzo was heartbroken.

I looked at the time, we need to leave.

I walk back into the kitchen and tell Cameron we need to leave.

Cameron nods and before we leave, Enzo calls out, "Wait, Cam."

We both turn around and he continues, "is the date still up? Or are you seeing someone?"

"The date is always up for you Enzo," Cameron smiles.

"Perfect."

"You want to join us?" Cameron asks.

"I WANT TO," Dante appears out of nowhere.

He suddenly jumps on Cameron, "it's good to have you back Camcam."

Dante pulls away and runs to the car and Enzo ends up coming too.

We pick Blake up and introduce the three then head to the café.

We all walk in and spot the rest of the group.

Their eyes land on us, "hey, you're the girl that-" Dante starts but suddenly Ash gets up and runs away into the bathroom. What the-

Amaya looks over at the bathroom and excuses herself and Dante and Enzo greet the rest of them.

"YOU DON'T GET IT, MAY. THAT'S HIM," Ashley yells when I try dragging her out.

"Who?" I ask, confused.

She looks at the bathroom entrance, "the hot guy with Xavier. It's the same hot guy that I ran away from that once."

"Well, this is the second time," I sigh.

She pouts, "yeah, that's embarrassing. I don't want to talk to him Amaya, he is too hot."

"Come on Ash, we need to finish this project today and Dante is harmless I promise," I assure her.

She sighs, "fine but I don't want to talk to him yet."

I agree and we both go out to the table with Ash beside me.

Dante looks up and smiles at me then turns to Ash, "Hey."

"You, uh, you are on my seat," she stutters.

He tilts his head, "oh, I'm sorry. Here."

He gets off the seat and Ash goes to sit in it so Danto decides to sit right next to her. Oh god.

She looks at him awkwardly and back at her laptop.

I go to the only seat available which happens to be beside Xavier.

"Hey," he whispers in my ear and I get goosebumps from how close he is to me.

I haven't had a full conversation with him in a while but I can't get over him, even a little. Him actually making an effort to get to know my friends makes me love him even more but I am trying to keep my grudge.

"Hi," I breathe out.

He smiles, "I missed you." Oh god, let me be mad at you, you gorgeous jerk.

"Hmm," I hum, not wanting to admit I missed him too.

He just stares at me for a moment then shakes his head and murmurs "adorable," under his breath, going back to his conversation with Blake.

Dante smirks, turning to Ash, "so, what's your name?"

She looks at him for a split second then points at her worksheet to where her name is written.

He laughs, "you are cute."

Her eyes widen and her face goes red, she scoots away from Dante but he scoots closer.

"That is wrong," Dante points to something on her laptop and she huffs.

She grabs her laptop and goes to sit on the floor.

Out of nowhere, she starts talking in a low voice, "who does he think he is? Telling me I'm wrong. What the fuck. Just because he is hot he thinks he can be mean. What is wrong with HIM." Dante just looks confused.

Cameron looks at her amused and sits next to her, "What's wrong?"

"Camcam is this wrong?" she points.

He looks at it for a moment, "no."

"See! He says it's wrong. Like what? Is he calling me stupid? Do I look stupid?" she exclaims.

"Wha- No! I didn't call you stupid and that's not even the question I was talking about," Dante defends. He then points to a different question, "this."

"Well, I'm not done with that one," Ash narrows her eyes. "Camcam, tell him I'm not done with this."

Cam nods and looks at Dante who is confused, "she isn't done with that one."

"Okay," Dante mumbles.

The rest of the evening goes great except I couldn't focus much when Xavier was so close to me. I need to get a grip.

Once we are done, we ask a waitress walking by if she could get us our total.

She comes back with it and Xavier takes it saying he will pay.

"It's fine dude, we usually split," Caleb explains.

Xavier shakes his head, "I don't mind paying."

"You're so thoughtful," the waitress smiles at Xavier.

He looks at her and gives her an awkward nod before handing her his card.

She puts it in the card machine and then hands it to him but doesn't let go.

"Are you single?" she leans close. I am getting annoyed even though I shouldn't.

Xavier notices my change in mood and smiles, "no."

"Girlfriend?" she asks.

He looks at me, "soon hopefully."

She looks between us, "oh."

he stares at the card for a moment and she lets go, "I could still give you my number if it doesn't work for you two."

I stand up and give her my nicest fake smile, "he doesn't want it."

I look at Xavier and he stands up. We all walk out of there and I feel kind of guilty, maybe he changed his mind about wanting her number.

I turn to Xavier, "I'm sorry. It was your decision."

Xavier smiles, "I want to be with you, Amaya. That's my decision. I am not interested in anyone else."

"Good," I mumble before walking away. I want to be with him, just not yet and he knows it.
