《Princess Of The Underworld》23| Hey, Princess

I woke up to the sound of knocking at the door, I rolled over on the bed, trying to go back to sleep. I was having a dream, a good one where I didn't have to listen to my dad and steal the wand.
The knocking continued and I pulled a pillow over the top of my head, trying desperately to block out the annoying sound.
Mal groaned from where she laid in her own bed, "Someone stop it!"
"Oh, come on guys. Really?" Evie's light voice sounded as though she had been up for hours, her heels clicking as she made her way to the door, "Oh, hello."
"Good morning, miss. We're here for Ms. Hadey." At the sound of an unfamiliar voice mentioning my name I sat up on the bed.
Evie glanced at me, motioning for me to come over. I rolled my eyes, yawning as I made my way to the door to see two men dressed in very pristine clothes, like something Ben would wear.
I looked at them warily, "Uh, hi."
"We were sent by Prince Ben to take you to go get prepared for coronation. You don't need anything, a dress has already been selected for you." The one with a curly mustache told me.
I glanced over at Evie, who had a saddened look in her eye. She told me that she had been preparing an outfit for me ever since Ben and I's date.
"Hey, sorry." I turned back to the men, taking Evie's hand in my own, "But I already have the best in Auradon helping me out, but thank you."
Evie smiled at me while the men looked puzzled for a second, before nodding, bowing, then walking away.
I watched them go, swinging the door closed and leaning against it.

"Thank you." The girl told me and I only shrugged.
"I've got the best dress maker in Auradon. Now can I go back to sleep?"
"No!" Evie exclaimed, grabbing my hand and pulling me over to the mirror, "We only have three hours until the coronation and we have to fix this hair!"
After what felt like eternities later, (in which some point Mal had woken up) Evie had put the finishing touches on my makeup.
"And...there we go." Evie smiled at me, "All done." She then held up her magic mirror, allowing me to see myself.
I stood up so I could see my whole figure, my eyes locked on my reflection. Evie had really worked her magic!
She plaited my hair into two pigtail braids, a small gold clip at the top of each one. Evie had also crafted some golden earrings, shaping them to look like a tiny flame. My makeup was done a little heavier then I had worn out with Ben, but not enough to which I would complain.
My favorite part was the dress, Evie must of had to spend hours on it. It had all different shades of blue mixed together, ruffling at the bottom. I felt as though Fairy Godmother had transformed me into something else.
"Whoa," Mal stated, causing me to look at her, "You look like a princess."
I smiled at her, looking at the alarm clock on my desk, "I gotta go. Ben's probably waiting for me."
The girls nodded as I walked to the door, before turning on my heel and pulling Evie into a hug.
"Thank you." I whispered in her ear.
She smiled as we pulled apart, touching my hair lightly, "What are sisters for?"
I chuckled, turning to Mal and holding out my other arm.
The purple haired girl shook her head from where she was putting on her dress, "Uh, no. I don't hug."
Evie grabbed her girlfriend's wrist, pulling her into us, "You do now."
And we all stood there, holding onto each other, only one thought in my head.
Auradon had changed us, but I don't think I minded.

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.
