《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 27

*Ravens POV*
I was stuck. I didn't know any American States. I used the first thing that came to my mind.
"I'm from Pyratees Cove." I said saying using Pirates cove but mixing it up a bit.
"I'm sorry but I've never heard of it before." The teacher said.
"Yes well not a lot of people have but it's there. It's very small only a few houses." I explained.
"I see. Well. Let's continue our lesson. Who can tell me what a caravel is?" She asked as I sat down.
Someone put up their hand.
"Yes Mr. Johnson." Mrs. Barry said pointing to him.
"Wasn't it a ship used in the sixteen hundreds?" He said uncertainly.
"Yes it was. It was mostly used by merchants and explorers during this time. It was probably the only way to travel across the sea. The only thing the sailors feared was sea monsters or, even worse, Pirates. Who can tell me what a pirate is?" The teacher asked. I sunk lower in my seat. I knew exactly what a pirate was. I am one.
"Well if no one knows, I shall tell you. A pirate was a ruthless person who sailed around the sea to plunder other vessels. They were hideous creatures who often suffered from scurvy. They were usually if not always men. They wore ragged clothes and never washed themselves and they only ever ate fish that was raw." Mrs. Barry said. I couldn't help myself and burst out laughing.
"Ms. Hook? Would you like to share the joke with the whole class?" Mrs. Barry asked.
"Oh I'm sorry it's just that your facts are all wrong. You really need to learn about pirates Miss." I said.
"How dare you. Detention tomorrow after school. Off you go to lunch everyone. And Wendy. Teach your cousin some manners." Mrs. Barry said. Everyone picked up their books and left the room.

"Oh my goodness! That was the funniest thing ever!" Fiona said as she walked next to me.
"I'm just saying that all of her facts were wrong. Pirates also eat chicken and we always take baths. You have to stay clean." I said. Fiona and Lauren both looked at me.
"I'm going to guess that you're one of the pirates that Wendy was talking about when she went to Neverland." Lauren said. I blushed.
"How do you know?" I asked.
"Oh Wendy told us everything. Can I come back with you? Please!" Fiona said jumping up and down.
"I don't really know. I mean, it's not easy to get people to Neverland and you'd probably have to stay there for good. It's not easy." I explained.
"Please Raven. At least ask. We would love to come to Neverland. I mean you have fairies. I want a fairy." Fiona said.
"Oh! You just reminded me. One second I have to find Misty." I said remembering my little fairy friend. I let them walk ahead of me as I searched the hall for her.
"Looking for something?" I heard someone say. I looked behind me and saw Peter standing there holding Misty.
"Oh Misty there you are. Pan! Don't show her around like that. Someone could see her." I said letting Misty perch on my shoulder.
"Oops sorry." He replied.
"Anyway I need to talk to you about something." I said as we began walking back towards the playground.
"Sure what's wrong?" Peter said.
"Okay so you know Wendy's friends Fiona and Lauren? Yeah well they know all about Neverland and stuff and they're just asked me if they could come back with us." I explained.
"And you're just checking if thats alright with me?" He guessed.
"Yeah pretty much. So what do you think?" I said. I could see the others chatting away in the corner.

"I don't see why not. But they must know that you can't really leave Neverland for good. We'd have to check some stuff with them first."
"There you two are. What were you doing?" Fiona said as we sat down with them.
"Sorry I had to asked Peter a question." I said.
"Yeah so if you two want to come back to Neverland with us, we need to get some things sorted out." Pan said. Fiona practically screamed in happiness and Lauren covered her mouth.
"Okay okay settle down. Now the first and most important thing is, you must tell us about your parents." I said. We couldn't really take them unless they were either not happy with their parents or they were orphans.
"Well we'll both have no parents. We're orphans. We live in an orphanage that's just for girls, next door to one that's just for boys." Lauren explained.
"Yeah loads of boys kept on disappearing from there so they had to close down." Fiona added.
"That would be Peters fault. He always comes here and gets loads of orphans and brings them back to Neverland." I explained.
"I guess that means you can both come to Neverland I suppose. I mean if you're orphans. You can come with us today. I'm sure Raven won't be coming back again for her detention tomorrow if I know her as well as I do." Peter said. We started to head back inside for the next class.
"Pan, that didn't make any sense. You should only speak if you actually make sense." I said to him. Suddenly I collided with someone, falling to the floor.
"Oh sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." I said. He glared down at me. "Are you going to help me up or are you just going to glare at me?"
"Why would I want to pick you up? You bumped into me!" He said.
"Okay okay cool it down there. I meant no harm. Look, I'm going to go now and you can forget this ever happened. Okay?" I said, trying to stand up but I kept falling over my skirt.
"Oh no you don't! I know who you are. You're Wendy Darlings American cousin. You think you can just walk on in here and expect everyone to make way for you. Well that's not going to happen." He said standing over me.
"Hey look. I said I was sorry! No need to lose your temper." I said getting annoyed. I could see Peter trying to get through the growing crowd of people.
"Now look here scar face-" He didn't finish his sentence because I had whipped my leg out and knocked him over. He fell to the floor and I stood up.
I grabbed his shirt collar and looked him dead in the eye.
"It's Raven, okay. R-A-V-E-N. I don't appreciate being called anything other than that." I said barely above a whisper. I felt Peter place a hand on my back.
"Come on Raven. Leave him alone. Let's go home." He said to me. I nodded and stood up.
I walked through the crowd with Peter in tow. As I passed Wendy and everyone, I stopped briefly.
"If you guys want to come, we're leaving now." I said. They quickly followed and once we were all out of sight, I sprinkled some pixie dust over their heads.
"Come on you two. Let's go home." I said, grabbing their hands and bringing them with me back to Neverland.
