《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 20

*Ravens POV*
Even though I wasn't allowed to fight with the others, I still helped out with the preparations for the battle. Pan didn't leave my side as if he was scared something would happen to me.
Oscar and Ted had finally turned up and Peter made them run as fast as they could to the Indian camp and the fairy village to get help.
Jasper and Edgar were on lookout to see how close the pirates were. We still had about an hour until they came.
Everyone was running around putting on armour and sharpening their weapons. Mother was making sure that the younger boys went into a safe house. We didn't want them to fight in case they got hurt. Wendy and I would probably end up minding them.
The pirates were moving quickly despite the fact that they were carrying loads of weapons and three cannons. Soon it would be time for the lost boys to move and begin the attack.
The Indians had finally turned up along with the fairies so we had quite a big army building up. However the pirates did have cannons and a lot of skill when it acme to fighting so we couldn't really guess what the outcome would be like.
Soon Jasper came running back saying that the pirates were very close. Edgar had run off in the other direction to warn the other troupe. We planned to surround them, not only from both sides but also from the air. So the fairies started to fly off.
Everyone started to get ready to leave . Mother and dad both came over and gave me a huge hug.
"Oh Raven. Stay safe and make sure to keep everyone else safe too. I love you darling." Mother said, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Mother I'll fine. Please don't cry you're making me feel uncomfortable." I said, patting her shoulder. She nodded and walked over to Wendy.
"I know you can take care of yourself Raven and don't worry I won't be crying. I haven't done that for many years. I guess I'll see you when it's all over." Dad said. He extended a hand which I shook before he walked off.

"See you in a minute Raven. And please don't be in a huff because you can't fight. It's not that bad." Edward said giving me a small hug and a smile.
"Thanks Ed's. No promises though." I said before he walked over to Wendy and gave her a massive hug.
"Don't I get a goodbye or are you all goodbyed out?" Pan asked popping up beside me.
"Nope. You just scared me half to death so you don't even get a nickname." I said.
"Wow I am so offended right now. I was so excited about getting a nick name but I guess not." He said putting a small pouty face on.
"Awww poor Peter Panther. I'm sorry. Of course you get a witty nickname. And because you've been so well behaved you also get a hug." I said wrapping my arms around him. He hugged me back and rested his head on my shoulder.
"You're shaking Raven Berry. Are you sure you're okay?" He asked me softly.
"Yes I'm fine. I'm just worried about all of you. Promise me you won't get hurt. At least try not to." I said squeezing him harder.
"I promise. But try not to stay grumpy about this whole ordeal. It'll be over before you know it."
"I can't help it! These people ruined my original life! They forced me to be separated from both of my parents, they are attacking my new home and their leader wants to kidnap me and marry me against me will. I want to fight them so much Peter. I want them to feel the pain that I was forced to live through." I said. I could feel tears on the edge of my eyes threatening to spill at any moment.
"I know Raven. I don't want you to stay away from my sights either. I have a terrible feeling about this but I can't stay with you because I have to fight. But it will all be fine in the end." Peter said before pulling away.
"Thanks Peter. I'll see you later." I said waving as he walked away.

I stood beside Wendy as our army of lost boys, indians and fairies lined up and prepared to leave.
"You ready for this Raven?" Wendy asked.
"I've been scared about this since we got that letter nearly two years ago." I said truthfully.
"I'm. Sure it will all be fine. To some extent." She replied.
At last the troupe started to move out and we watched as they walked through the trees. The tears that had threatened me earlier finally took over and crept silently down my cheeks. Beside me I could see Wendy crying too.
We finally turned to the group of about ten lost boys who had to stay behind.
"Okay so as you know we're all not allowed to fight. So we will have to stay here for the next few hours until the fight is over. If by some horrible twist of fate the pirates do come and try to attack us just simply follow me or Wendy and we'll lead you all to the safe house." I said wiping my eyes as I spoke.
We heard shouts in the distance so I had to assume that the fight had finally got under way. Pan had better stay safe because if he didn't I would probably kill him instead of letting some crazed pirate do the honours.
Many hours passes and it was about four o' clock before anything interesting happened.
I was sitting down at a small round table playing chess with one of the lost boys. Wendy was reading a book and the other boys were scattered about making jigsaw puzzles or playing cards.
I was losing horribly to this little seven year old. It wasn't because I was bad or anything my mind just kept wandering over to the fight. I wondered if anything interesting was happening.
Suddenly we heard the sound of trees rustling and low voices speaking. I stood up quickly and rewarding my sword.
"Wendy start rounding up the boys. I think we have a bit of company." I whisper-shouted to Wendy who closed her book and started ushering the kids in the opposite direction.
Before we knew it, we saw my bed fifteen pirates burst through the trees lead by the one person who made my blood boil. Andrew bloody Parkins.
"Lost boys start running!" I shouted out to the kids who started to run after Wendy as quickly as they could.
"Crew round them up. Don't let them get away!" Andrew called to his crew who all ran off in different directions.
"Raven! Quickly come on!" I heard Wendy call.
"Just go I'll gold them off!" I shouted back raising my sword.
"Raven is that really you? My love what are you doing here? I have missed you so. The minute that loathsome Peter Pan grabbed you my heart dropped. I thought you were dead and I was heart broken that I would never see you walking down the aisle to me." Andrew said, dashing over and picking up both my hands.
"You will see me walk down the aisle Andrew but I won't be running into your open arms." I said pulling me hands away from his.
"Raven. What have they done to you? Why wouldn'tyou want me as a husband?" He said sadly .
"You need to get a life Andrew instead of ruining everyone else's." I said glaring at him.
"Oh Raven. I can't handle this anymore. They have not treated you right. I shall take you back with me and we shall be marries by the weeks end." He said picking me up and starting to run off through the trees away from everyone I loved.
I squirmed in his arms trying to get free until I whacked my head against the side of a tree and started to lose consciousness.
I heard a voice that sounded like Pan. It sounded as if it was miles away. Looking over my shoulder is saw him standing there through the trees.
He shouted something before he was engulfed by pirates.
"Raven!"

The Dungeon Traveler
I spent most of my life trying to get by with whatever happiness I could, that included alcohol, food, and porn.My death was unpleasant and humiliating. However, death is something we all need to go through. A bit like a proctology exam; necessary but never anything one wants to go through while it's happening. However, death was supposed to be the end of it. Either way, the pain, suffering, and failures were supposed to be over. I was supposed to wink out, or perhaps take a trip to a lovely afterlife! No, I ended up as a small stone, strapped to a table, while a pimple-faced teenager rubbed my facets and told me how 'lovely' I was. Last time I checked, birth wasn't supposed to be as embarrassing as death!Life as a dungeon core isn't all bad. I like watching lizard love triangles and snooping on militaristic dwarves; though there is that issue where I'm trying to free myself from the entanglements of the Gods....ok, yeah that last one is a bit of a problem. 8 89Dark Lands: The Exile and the Prince
A short time has passed since the siege on Ruined Home has been lifted and as the survivors of the battered encampment slowly begin to rebuild their new home, Aurelius has returned from a failed troll hunt. Yet despite the battered prince’s failures, he has set into motion a series of events that will forever change his life. Meanwhile, Iskra has found herself at the helm of a far more favorable position and begins to forge a path that will lead her towards the first steps of a long road of revenge. Author’s Note: This is the direct sequel to the first Dark Lands story and as time goes on I will update the synopsis to help bring further detail about the story. For now however, I hope you all enjoy what is about to be written. Eight Years Arc: Eight Years have passed since Aurelius and Iskra have first met one another, and a lot has changed since then. The vast majority of Aurelius’ family has been slaughtered by the hands of none other than his oldest brother, a man that the golden haired prince had spent the past several years to hunt down and kill all in the name of vengeance. Upon his return, the kin-slaying prince has found that some things have changed during his absence. Iskra, his first wife and love of his life, has proclaimed that she no longer cares about the events that have been unfolding in her former homeland for the last several years and states that she is solely focused on raising her children. Yet it is through learning that the High Elves have taken a keen interest in the once magically-absent lands of Ranislava that Aurelius decides that action must be taken and thus he journeys south to learn more about what his distant kin are up to in such a backwater region of the world. Who he will meet and what he will do will turn the tides of fate, but in whose favor is something that only the Gods will know. (The Eight Years arc is something that was designed to be written in a way where people don't have to feel the need to go back to the very beginning of the Dark Lands story in order to know what is going on or who the characters are.)

But there's a sinister force lurking over June; a disruption in the atmosphere, a collision of spells, a tale from history, and, worst of all, an evil re-incarnated Prince who will stop at nothing to find her because she wears the face of his deceased lover.
