《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 8

*Peter Pans POV*
When we walked into the cabin, Hook and Raven embraced in a huge hug. It made me see that Raven really loved him and I felt horrible that I had to take her away again.
After a few minutes of them conversing, they finally turned to me and asked me to talk to them about what was going on.
"Well um a few days ago the uh chief asked me to come and see him. He told me that there was a person staying with the pirates who was in great danger. He gave me a necklace that would light up when I had found the person. The necklace glowed when I was fighting Raven so she's the one who's in danger." I said, a bit uncomfortable at being put on the spot so suddenly.
"But why am I in danger? What did I do that was so bad?" Raven asked looking very confused.
"Well I'm not to sure all I know is that you're in danger because of your being able to fly. I don't know all of the details." I answered truthfully.
"I know why." Hook said speaking up at last. We both looked at him.
"Well before you were born Raven and before Pan came to Neverland, there was another group of people like the lost boys. Their leader could fly like you as she was part fairy. Anyway they weren't very popular amongst the pirates. In fact we hated them. I was a pirate by blood, not because I wanted to be one. My parents were big pirates and I had to follow in their footsteps. Well I fell in love with their leader and we used to meet in private so that no one would know or they would kill us. One day the leader had to return to the the real world and I couldn't go with her. One day I was finally able to get away for a while and I came a to the real world and found her. While I was away she had had you, Raven. To make sure no one found out, I took you back to Neverland and claimed that your mother had died. A few weeks later the group that the pirates had hated who's leader had stolen my heart were rounded up and they were all killed. Not long after, I became head pirate and Pan and the lost boys were founded. And now here we are." Hook said sadly.

"But I still don't understand why this puts me in danger." Raven said.
"Raven, if anyone was to find out who your mother was, they would immediately kill you. They have tracked down every single on of that group and now they are all dead. The pirates would kill you because you are a descendent of their leader. Then they would kill me and your mother when they found out where she is." Hook explained.
"But why must I go with Pan? Why can't I just stay with you? I would be careful and I wouldn't fly at all." Raven begged.
"I'm sorry Raven really I am but every day your becoming more and more like your mother. Your features are almost identical and your voice is turning sweet and pretty like hers was. Someone will notice. You will have to go with Pan." Hook said pointing to me.
"But you can visit of course. Every now and then you can come and visit him and you can celebrate your birthday with him if you want." I said in attempts to make her feel better.
Raven nodded sadly staring at the floor. I felt very bad for her. I had never really mer my parents but Raven had grown up with Hook. He was her best friend and now she had to leave him.
"I know it's hard Raven and I'm really sorry. I wish there was another way. But that's just the way it is. It's not going to be easy for me either. But it will be fine." Hook said walking over and placing his hands on Ravens shoulders.
"Okay. I'll go with Pan. But I'll be wanting constant letters. And every day you must think of a pun about your hook in memory of me." Raven said smiling at last.
"Of course. And don't forget that you'll want to start up your career as a hand model. I missed that chance long ago. Thanks for that Pan." He said glaring at me.

"Yeah sure. Sorry and all that but I think it might be time for us to go. We have been here for a while and it'll be getting dark soon." I said pointing to the door.
"Okay then." Hook said. He gave Raven another quick hug.
"Raven do you want to quickly get some of your stuff from your room. I need to have a quick word with Pan for a minute." Hook asked pulling away from the hug.
"Sure dad just try not to kill him." Raven said before going to the back of the room and down a ladder. I was left alone in the roo. With Hook.
"Look Pan. I already know what will happen one day okay? The chief told me a few years ago. I won't say everything but I will say this. One day Raven will meet her mother. It won't be for another year or two but she will meet her. I want to make sure that she is alive for that okay? Also Rave is going to need a friend while she's alone with you and the lost boys. Try and become that friend." He said.
"Don't worry sir. I'll keep her safe. I promise."I replied, desperate to be out of there.
"I am trusting you with my daughter now Pan. I love her more than any thing else in the world. Just be careful of her." He said.
"I will."
"I'm back! Did you miss me? Of course you did." Raven said popping up beside Hook but this time she had a bag with her.
"Okay Raven. This is goodbye for now but I promise that I'll come and see you whenever I can." Hook said wrapping her into another hug.
"I love you so much Raven." He said.
"I love you too dad. I miss you already. Don't forget to write." She said pulling away and standing next to me.
"Goodbye Raven." Hook said.
"Bye dad."
We walked outside to where the sun was setting and jumped into the air.
We flew silently back to the den. Upon landing, Raven walked into her little hut after bidding me goodnight.
I followed soon after into my own hut next door. I did my evening stretches and climbed into bed.
I had never noticed it before but Raven was starting to remind me of someone. I couldn't place my finger on who it was though.
I fell asleep soon after and dreamt of a little black Raven soaring through the skies with a red bird flying with it. I felt that it was something to do with Raven and her father.
Hooks words from earlier rang in my ears all night. He had asked me to be there for her and be her best friend.
I thought of the life Raven had lived surrounded by people who didn't understand her. Unable to talk about her problems because everyone bar her father didn't understand her and her feelings. Rave was different and every one could see it. They were afraid of her. Everyone she had ever met was afraid of her and just pushed her away like an outcast.
I didn't.
