《My Immortals(A One Direction Fanfiction) COMPLETED》Chapter 38

Snow swirled around the cemetery and the ambiance of death was closing in. Blood stained the once pure white snow. A girl and a boy rested peacefully in each other's arms as another girl and boy fought. The fighting pair were going hard at it, but the injured boy was fighting a losing battle. Soon, the girl was able to defeat the boy, who's lifeless body fell to the ground and he too joined the slumber with the other boy and girl. The last girl walked over to the sleeping pair and gently shook the boy's shoulder.
"Harry? Harry, please!" The girl cried as tears filled her eyes. The boy continued to sleep peacefully with the other girl in his arms.
"Mitchie!" Several voices called as they ran into the cemetery, but the yelling soon stopped once the figures saw the slumbering pair.
"No!" A boy yelled as he ran over to Harry's side. He began to shake Harry's arm, desperately trying to awaken the boy.
"Louis, give it up." Another boy whispered as he strode forward and gently pulled him away from the sleeping couple.
"Liam, they can't be gone, they just can't be!" Louis screamed as tears spilled over from his eyes.
A third boy of the group ran forward and bent down by the sleeping girl. He gently stroked her cheek.
"She was like a sister to me." His broken voice whispered as he leaned down and kissed her forehead.
"Justin, come on." Liam murmured to the boy. Justin reluctantly stood up and began to walk away. Everyone began to leave."We'll come back for them once we deal with the war issue." Liam whispered as he led the group away. All but one left.
"Louis, come on," A blonde boy said, but Louis shook his head.
"Go on, Niall, I just want to say goodbye." The blonde boy nodded and the group left, leaving Louis alone with the sleeping couple.
"Harry, you were my best friend, you can't just leave me like this! You finally got the chance to love again! You guys can't leave, it's not fair, it's not right. You don't deserve this, Harry, you don't deserve to finally love again only to have it ripped from you again. Please, come back. You were my brother, I can't lose you." The boy whispered through sobs. Then, the boy suddenly straightened up quickly and felt around in his pockets. He pulled out a small vial, half fulled with a red liquid. He tilted the sleeping boy's head back and gently pressed the vial through his lips and emptied the contents. He drew the empty vial away and continued to sob over the boy as snow continued to fall around them.

The couple's headboard of their bed read "Christina," Before the rest of the snow blurred the rest of the words. There was a red rose, dried out but still vibrantly red, at the base of the head board, resting right between the sleeping couple's faces.
HARRY'S POV
I woke up, freezing. I blinked a few times and looked around at my surroundings. I saw a red rose in front of my face and a giant looming rock. I felt something pressed against my chest and I glanced at it before my heart froze and I couldn't breathe.
"Gwen." I whispered her name. Flashes of what had taken place came back to me, each cutting my heart deeper and deeper. Gwen was gone for good. I had lost my love, again.
After the war, Gwen won't exist. Those words brought tears to my eyes as I realized that it was true.
I can't live without Gwen. That's what the angel meant. Gwen was my love, she made me living, and when I lost her, it was my end. Without Gwen, there's no Harry.
I sobbed as I held her against me, my beautiful angel, my life. She was my reason to live, to exist. I felt so moved by her loss, I wanted to say something to her, but words wouldn't be enough. I had to sing to her. She loved it when I sang.
Shut the door
turn the light off
I wanna be
with you
I wanna feel
your love
I wanna beside you
I cannot hide this
Even though I try
Heart beats harder
time escapes me
trembling hands
touch skin
it makes this
harder
And the tears stream down my face
If we could only have this life
For one more day
If we could only turn back time
You know I'll be
Your life
Your voice
Your reason to be
My love
My heart
Is breathing for this
Moment
In time
I'll find the words to say
Before you leave me today
I couldn't go on, since I was crying too much. I couldn't breathe because there was too much pain in my chest.
"I love you." I gasped out as I kissed her lips again. That's when I felt it. I was shocked by electricity and I pulled away.
Ba-Bump
Gwen's heart was beating again
Ba-Bump
The purple was spreading through her.
Ba-Bump
Gwen was completely purple and she was glowing a lot.
Ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump
Gwen's heart was beating super fast now, that wasn't normal. There was a burst of white light that blinded me before everything went back to white, greys, blacks, and reds. I looked down at Gwen, who still wasn't moving. Her heart wasn't beating anymore, it was completely silent again. I closed my eyes and laid my head down in the crook of Gwen's neck, sobbing again.

There was still hope, there had to be hope. If her heart was just beating, then I still had time, right? I bit into her neck, injecting her with venom as I thought hard about turning her.
I bit her, over and over, desperate to save her, that small shred of hope driving me. I pulled away, but her heart was still silent. I tried giving her blood i bit into my wrist and let it slide down her throat, but still, nothing. Defeated, I placed my head in the crook of her neck again and cried as night drew in, it was now twilight.
"Harry, why are you crying?" A voice asked. Great, I had cracked. I was hearing things. I was hearing her voice.
"Harry, I love you." I pulled my head away from Gwen's neck, getting frustrated that my mind chose now to toy with me.
I blinked in surprise when I saw Gwen's green and purple eyes staring at me... Green and purple? Wait! Gwen was alive!
"Gwen... You're..."
"Harry, I was so scared. It was completely black and I lonely. I didn't know what to do, until Reth came back. He told me that I was okay. He said that my heart wasn't beating, but I would be okay. That's when I heard your voice. Reth said that you were crying for me, and then I felt your tears on my face. He said that your tears and your kiss would save me. He also explained the purple."
I didn't know what to say or what to do. Gwen had come back and that's all that matters."The purple?"
"He told me that I am Chris, but I'm also Gwen. He said that I was deemed special and given another chance, only Gwen is also there, because Chris had to change a little bit for the change. He said Gwen had stopped existing after the war, and he's right! The purple was just Chris awakening in me. The only reason we could see it was because we were all deeply bonded with her. With me."
"But Gwen, how can he be right! You still exist, I have you in my arms!"
"I'm not just Gwen anymore. I'm not the same Gwen I was when I was sitting in history. I'm also Christina."
GWEN'S POV
I could feel it, once Reth had told me, I could feel the truth. The purple was Chris's soul spreading and reacting to Harry. When the purple finally spread, Chris had mixed together with Gwen, so much that we were now the same person. The same person that loved Harry more than anyone had ever thought possible. The same person that would do anything to be with him, even fight through life, death, and time.
I smiled at Harry and I leaned forward and kissed him. I needed his lips on mine again, I needed him with me. My body buzzed with strange strength and I felt parched, but I lost all of that when I felt Harry kissing back. After all of this time, we were finally together again, and we were together for good.
When Harry pulled back, the burn in my throat became much more blatant."Harry, my throat burns."
I saw Harry's eyes gleam with knowledge."Gwen, or Chris, I turned you."
He did what? He turned me? So I'm a vampire now? Is it even possible for a Blood Rose to become a vampire?
"But I'm a Blood Rose!"
"And you're the first to ever become a vampire. Don't worry, you're safe now. You can defend yourself."
"And the best part? I won't ever have to leave you again."I murmured before I leaned forward and kissed him again. Not the desperate and needy kiss, but that one kiss that tells the story of your love, of all the pain, hurt, agonies, and obstacles you went through to get to that point. Love is forever, and not even death can get in it's way. Love is immortal, like Harry, it never dies, it's just reborn. Love and Harry are My Immortals and I'll have them until the end of time.
A/N Awwww, I hope you liked it! See, Harry and Gwen are still alive! I plan to have an epilouge, so don't just be like, "This story's over!" No! I have an epilouge coming! I have announcements coming, you can't quit me now!
Lol, just because our tale is coming to an end, that doesn't mean you have to stop rereading it and spreading the word.
Also, I kinda wanna enter this in the Watty Awards, so I need help to figure that out...
So I'll keep you posted, and let me know your feels for this chapter! See ya in the epilouge!

Apex Immortal: a LitRPG system rampage
"Across the multiverse where the contest for power is the only constant, only a handful have succeeded in reaching the ultimate heights of ascendency and gained the title Apex Immortal. Dominus is one of them, unsurpassed in overwhelming violence, feared across universes. Now, memories locked and stranded far away from everything he’d built, Dominus will face enemies that will challenge even his powers and discover that change is more difficult than destruction." I’ve been writing fiction on and off for the last decade and I’ve always wondered how a peak immortal (or an OP superhero) would single handedly conquer a world that mirrors our own in all of its complexity. As a politics nerd, this is my attempt at answering that question using Machiavelli’s “The Prince” as the primary playbook. The “monsters” are entire political systems with entrenched culture. Expect many versions of real world political systems (and cultures) to be on the hit list. The MC has to successfully institute regime and cultural change without engaging in wholesale genocide and causing the state to fail. Expect things to go wrong pretty quickly as escalating and cascading political and economic effects rapidly go out of control. Methods deployed are not for the faint hearted.
