Edward: That's one big mountain.

Inosuke: Well, mountains are big, dumbass.

The group has finally arrived at Mount Natagumo, all seem to be unbothered.... except one.

Zenitsu: Wait, we have to stop here.

Tanjiro, Edward and Inosuke turn to Zenitsu.

Tanjiro: What's wrong, Zenitsu?

Zenitsu starts freaking out, "I'm nervous okay! The mountain is giving me really spooky vibes!"

Edward: Really dude.

Zenitsu: You can't tell me that your not getting creeped out by the mountain.

Inosuke: I'm never scared! I'll take any demon head-on.

Edward: Yeah, can't say I'm creeped out either.

Tanjiro: Come on Zenitsu, we have a mission.

The group continues trying to get Zenitsu to head to mountain when Tanjiro smells something.

He quickly turns around.

Zenitsu: Tanjiro? Is something wrong?

Edward: What do you smell?

Tanjiro: I don't know....

He runs more down the trail to investigate, the rest follow after him.

At the ridge of the forest is a Demon Slayer Corp. member on the ground seemingly injured.

Corp. Member: Help me... please... help...

Tanjiro rushes over, quickly followed by Inosuke, Edward and Zenitsu.

Tanjiro: Are you okay? What happened?

Edward: Wait, Tanjiro, stop!

Edward quickly stops Tanjiro. As he does, the Corp. Member is pulled back into the forest by something they didn't see, except Edward.

Edward: Strings. Be careful, we don't know what we're dealing with.

Inosuke doesn't waste any time, "I'll head in first. I want to kill some demons!"

Zenitsu: Why is he such a show off.

Tanjiro: Inosuke?

Edward: Those serrated blades of yours might be helpful here Inosuke, keep an eye out.

Inosuke: Don't tell me what to do!

Edward turns to Tanjiro, "Is Nezuko gonna be okay?"

Tanjiro: Yup, safe and sound.

Edward turns back to the forest, "Alright, stay close and we'll be fine."

Inosuke takes off into the forest with Edward and Tanjiro behind him. Zenitsu is too scared to move at the moment so he stays behind.

~Forest~

Edward: Damn these spider webs.

Inosuke: There everywhere! Ahhh!

Inosuke frantically swings his arms to hopefully clear out some of the endless spider webs around.

Tanjiro: Does anyone see anything?

Edward: No but I do hear something.

Tanjiro: What do you hear?

Edward listens closer, "A... rattling sound?"

Without a second thought, Edward is yanked into the sky like nothing.

Edward: I didn't agree to foreplay!!!

Tanjiro/Inosuke: Edward/Old man!

In the distance, Edward can be heard shouting, "I'M NOT THAT OLD!"

~With Edward~

While mid-air, Edward cuts himself free. He lands in the one spot that there isn't a bush.

Edward: Ouch, dammit.

He gets up and dusts himself off. He inspects his now dirty clothing with annoyance.

Edward: I guess I'll just have Aoi help me wash these. Now, where am I?

Edward: Maybe I can find the demon with the strings.

As Edward searches the forest, he decides to follow the threads to their source.

When he approaches a nearby opening, he hears a voice. He quickly takes cover behind a nearby tree.

???: Damn these useless puppets! Just die already!

From the tone of the voice, Edward has deducted that the demon is female and very distraught about something.

Edward: They probably aren't the ringleader here.

He steps out into the clearing to establish his presence.

Edward: *Clears throat* Um, hello? Miss Demon? You seem freaked about something, can I help?

The demon turns around to face Edward, she is seemingly surprised that he reached her without her knowing.

Miss Demon: What?! How did you...?!

Edward: She looks like a spider. Hi, yes, um, I'm Edward. Care to explain the dead people.

Without responding, the demon women tries to attack Edward with her strings. Edward dodges quickly before slicing them up.

Edward: As a member of the Demon Slayer Corp. It is my job to put you out of your misery.

Edward takes a stance and the demon tenses up.

Edward: Breath of Gods- 8th Form: A Roses Deadly Thorns Altered.

Vines sprout from the ground which entangle the demon women, keeping her from moving.

Seeing that she is immobilized, the demon women seems to accept her oncoming death.

Edward: Breath of Gods- 2nd Form: The Final Strike of Hermes Altered.

He delivers a much faster and peaceful strike to the demon women. The women is caught off guard by the peacefulness but then accepts it.

After delivering the strike, Edward believes he hears the demon women mention something about a 12 Kizuki member being present in the forest.

Edward: If a Demon Moon is here then the others are in trouble.

Edward looks around.

Edward: But first, WHERE THE HELL AM I!?

He starts running around the forest trying to find the others. He soon makes his way to a river and sees a small path of carnage creating a small trail.

He starts going down the river when he sees Tanjiro go flying into the sky.

Edward: Well damn! That's a homerun on the demons part.

He makes his way to the end of the river and finds a big demon trying to attack Inosuke.

Edward: Hey ugly!

This gains the big demons attention, as well as Inosuke's.

Edward: Look away, Inosuke!

Inosuke listens and looks away. Edward starts spinning his sword which confuses the big demon.

Edward: Breath of Gods- First Form: The Blinding Lights of Apollo.

Edward's quickly spinning sword starts emitting a huge bright lights which blinds the big demon.

He uses this moment to finish of the demon by slicing its head off.

Edward turns towards Inosuke, "Alright, you can look now."

Inosuke looks back and is amazed, "How did you manage to beat a 12 Kizuki?!"

Edward: A 12 Kizuki? No no no, he's not a 12 Kizuki, he's much too weak.

Inosuke: But Gompachiro said-

Edward: He must have been mistaken. Are you hurt.

Inosuke shrugs, "A few cuts and bruises but nothing I can't handle."

Inosuke tries to take a few steps but soon collapses and passes out.

Edward: Oh brother, I'll have to come back for him later.

He props Inosuke against a tree and takes of to where he saw Tanjiro land.

Having searched for a while, Edward stumbles upon Giyu and Shinobu clashing.

Right before they clash again, Edward appears quickly between the two. He grabs Shinobu's katana and stops Giyu's with his blade.

Having caught both of them off guard, Edward speaks up, "Now, why must you two always fight. It's unhealthy behaviour."

Shinobu: We wouldn't be fighting if Tomioka-san would kindly move out of the way.

Giyu: I will not let you hurt the demon.

Edward: Which demon?

Giyu: The girl in the pink kimono.

Edward: Nezuko?

Shinobu: You know this demon?

Edward lets go of the blades and stands back up, "Of course, I've been travelling with this demon and her brother for a few weeks now."

Shinobu: But she's a demon, and it's against corp. rules to associate with demons.

Edward shakes his head, "Yes, I know. But, Nezuko is different. She's never once tried to attack a human. She's even protected them from what I heard."

Shinobu lets shock slip through for a second before regaining her calm smile.

Shinobu: Well be it as it may, Kanao will have most likely already finished off the demon.

Edward sighs, "Dammit, I'll go stop that too."

He rushes off.

Shinobu turns to Giyu, "Who was the boy?"

Giyu: If I recall, his name was Tanjiro Kamado.

Shinobu: Oh dear, Edward asked me to take care of him and his sister, I suppose I should have asked for his name.

At the moment, Edward is holding Kanao in his arms to keep her from killing Nezuko.

Kanao: My orders are to kill this Demon, why are you stopping me?

Edward: Because she is special.

Kanao: How?

Edward: She is a nice demon.

Kanao think for a second, "Is that why she didn't attack?"

Edward: Exactly.

Kanao: Doesn't matter, my orders are still to kill this demon so that is what I must do.

Edward continues to hold onto her, "Now, wait a minute, let's not- "

They are interrupted by a messenger crow saying to bring Tanjiro and Nezuko to the Demon Slayer Headquarters.

Edward: Oh thank mother.

He lets Kanao go as she stops trying to attack Nezuko.

Edward: Now that that's over...... shit! I forgot about Inosuke!

Edward runs off to grab Inosuke before making his journey back to headquarters.
