《Of Love and Loss: An Attack on Titan Story (Levi x OC)》The Window

After Levi left the infirmary, the doctors were busy covering up Hael's body. The old nurse who had helped her before knelt at her head, "Ah child. Had to go and leave that young man alone, huh?" The woman leaned down and kissed Hael's cold forehead.
The doctors were pulling the sheet up when they heard the nurse gasp. "She breathed! I kissed her head and she shuddered!"
The docotor looked at her skeptically, "Probably just death throws." He decided.
"No, no, it wasn't! This was more controlled. Look over her again. Please!" The nurse was frantic, grabbing at the doctors shirt.
"Fine. Fine." He said just to appease her, and went to work. A few minutes later, doctor gasped as well. "Bloody hell, you're right! She is breathing, shallowly though. Get me medicine!" The doctor and nurse raced around; using different salves and medicines, tools and creams.
It was a long night for Levi . He hardly slept in anguish for Hael. The doctor and the nurse called in a pair of surgeons, working all night to relieve the bleeding and patch the broken hip. Hael was left to an icey, black, empty void; spiralling and calling out for Levi in her dreams but not able to move a muscle.
When the sun rose, it brought hope to all but Levi; for no one had told him of Hael's miracle. The surgeons stabilized her after hours of work and no small amount of luck.
Erwin went to Levi to tell him, but found him unconscious on the bed. He had had a long day, better to let him sleep and tell him when he awoke, Erwin thought.
Levi was in fact, not asleep. Just not in a mood to talk to anyone about anything. His heart was empty and cold, Hael was gone. No one could bring him out of the darkness. Levi closed his eyes and blinked away a tear; the droplet landing on his pillow as he slipped away.

People were worried now. Levi wouldn't eat and didn't seem to be waking up. Two days had passed and no one could talk to him yet; many were concerned that no one would be able to; some cadets started circulating a rumor that he died. Levi ignore everyone who came in, when they said anything about Hael, he would tune it out.
After another day, everyone (meaning his friends) knew he was awake. The man was so stubborn, that even when Erwin grabbed his shoulders and shook him, Levi wouldn't listen. He was violent and stubborn and lashed out when anyone tried to force him to listen. He actually tried to throw Erwin out the window, fortunately, Erwin weighed a lot more than Levi.
Three days after Hael's death, Levi was training, cutting down anything he could get close to, desperate to release this anger and despair. He was reckless and deadly, of course, he was only training.
On the fourth day, Hael saw light for the first time in a while. "Levi?" She groaned. "Where is he?" The nurse told her of how Levi hadn't spoken a word in days and didn't hear anything they said either.
Hael said, "Well someone carry him here if you have to!" In an attempt to do just that, Erwin nearly got his arm sliced off by Levi's sword. Finally, Erwin grabbed Levi's arms and looked him in the eyes, "Look you selfish son of a bitch. Hael is alive. She survived the surgery. You need to get your ass into the infirmary, she's been calling for you."
Levi looked at Erwin then stood up, "Don't lie to me." He said, his voice hoarse from disuse and dangerously quiet. "I'm not lying!" Erwin protested.
"I saw her body. She is dead!" Levi shouted.

"No, she's not Levi!"
With that, Levi threw himself at Erwin, nailing him across the face before Erwin could defend.
Back in the infirmary, Hael knew something was wrong. "Nurse, can I walk?" She called.
"Honey, we may be good, but we can't heal a broken hip in five days."
"Well get me a wheelchair then. I need to get to Levi. Something's wrong, I feel it."
The nurse hesitated before pulling one out and easing Hael into it. They rolled down the hall and soon heard the sounds of fighting. "Faster!" Hael said, and the nurse heeded her call.
When they reached the open door, Hael called, "Levi! Stop it!"
"Levi! Stop it!" Levi heard the voice, the sweet, familiar voice. He released Erwin and turned slowly to see Hael. Hael. How? He saw her. She was dead. Levi was panting and whispered, "Hael?" She grinned that impish little smile and said, "Levi."
This couldn't be happening. He backed away, she wasn't here. Couldn't be here. She couldn't be here! Levi continued to backpedal. Hael came forward in the wheelchair, arms outstretched.
Hael could see the shock on Levi's face. "Levi? It's alright, I'm alright!" Why was he still backing up? Wasn't he happy to see her? "Levi!" Her fingers brushed his hand. At the physical touch, he looked into her eyes, confusion clearing just like that. Then he disappeared, just *poof*, gone. And Hael realized in horror how. Levi fell straight through his own open window.

I can't decide whether or not I like this chapter. It bounces too much, from person to person and forward in days really fast.
So heres another re-written chapter. I hope you like it better and that out-weighs whatever else you think of my changes. Tell me of you like it better. Please. I feel bad. (Sort of)
