"Ah, you have another one?"
You couldn't help but question with a sigh.
"Hey, now. Don't say it like that."
Your companion nudges you with a bashful smile.
Yuki always had the habit of doing this. Looking for someone they could find an immediate connection with and mistake it for true love, as idiotic as that sounded.
"I really think he's the one this time, though!"
"You've said that with that guy named Satan before."
"Maybe I was wrong then."
"What's to say you aren't wrong now?"
"(M/n), you're such a pessimist."
Yuki rolled their eyes at your snide comments. You merely shook your head. "That's not really being pessimistic. You just look for people to like too often."
"Whatever. Anyway, you must have heard of him."
Him.
"Name?"
"Asmodeus." Yuki grinned excitedly. You paused, humming thoughtfully. "...That feminine pretty boy?"
"Yup!"
"Gross. How did it happen?"
"I'm not telling you. You're just going to say it's stupid."
"I haven't even heard it and I already think it's stupid, so you're right." You barely finished speaking before you got shoved by Yuki, who shot you a glare. "You wouldn't understand. I haven't seen you fall for someone at all."
"Uh huh." You fixed your collar as you both walked. "I don't even know why you'd bother looking for someone so far."
"What does that mean?"
"Nothing." You hummed.
It was stupid to warn them over something like this. After all, as previously mentioned, this wasn't exactly the first time Yuki had found someone to like for such a shallow reason and silently admire them from afar until Yuki lost interest and found someone else.
It was a very idiotic cycle as you had come to realize.

It was a shame, really.
"Alright, you're telling me this, why?" You inquired. Yuki paused, prompting you to do the same with little suspicion.
Yuki didn't exactly tell you whenever they found someone. You'd just see it naturally since you were friends. But telling you directly and out of the blue was suspicious.
"...So, I recently found out that Asmodeus' locker number is 7051."
"Damn... a stalker." You grimaced teasingly as Yuki punched your shoulder with an unimpressed look. "Ha ha. Whatever, his locker number isn't even a secret at this point considering the amount of fans he has that often leave gifts on his locker."
"...I'm not sure how this information would benefit me, let alone even be relevant." You pressed your lips together after finishing, not liking where this was going.
"Well, um, we're friends, right? Best friends." Yuki grinned, a trace of nervousness visible in their expression.
"...Yuki."
"So, I was thinking..."
"Yuki."
"You could deliver a few presents in my stead?"
"Oh God. I fucking knew it."
"(M/n), please?" Yuki pleaded, intertwining their fingers. You shook your head, visibly dismayed.
"FIrst of all, ew. Why would you want me to do such a thing? Do it yourself, coward. Second, this is a waste. What even happened for you to even think about spending money on him? And lastly, really? You're giving him a gift so early."
"I figured it would be easier if you'd do it for me. The Student Council comes early to school every morning, so it's guaranteed that he might see me putting it there. The only opportunity to do that is after school, but other people might come across me, and that'd be more embarrassing."
"You said it yourself that it was normal for people to leave presents in Asmodeus' locker. Why would you doing it be any different?"

"Just because." They shrugged off your question. "Anyway, you're going to school early tomorrow, right? Something about handing something to Lucifer."
"How nice that you'd memorize my schedule to get me to run an errand."
"You just have to put it in front of his locker, then leave before anyone sees you, easy enough."
"If it's so easy, why don't you do it?"
"I've tried for the past few days, but I just can't go to school so early in the morning." To prove their point, Yuki faked a yawn, making you roll your eyes.
"I'm not putting your stupid gift on his locker. That's ridiculous."
"You don't need to act as though you're the one who's doing it. Just think of it like you're doing something in my stead, okay?"
"Yuki..."
"I owe you a favor then, alright? If you do this for me." They smiled broadly in persuasion. "Please?"
"..."
"..."
"...If I get caught doing it, what then?"
Their eyes visibly lit up at your agreement. Tugging on your hand, they answered. "Well, you won't. I'm sure. And if you do, you can just tell them they're from you or something." They teased. "Just don't give them my name, alright?"
"...What?"
"It's like a secret admirer kind of thing, see? So no matter what you do, just don't expose me."
"Damn you." You sighed in defeat. Yuki chuckled. "I'll give the presents to you right now. We're heading to my house. Unless you're doing something later?"
"Not particularly."
"Great!"
