In the summer of 2020, I started my job. I loved working there and made a lot of close friends. It was some of the best moments of my life. The people I worked with and my managers were incredible. I didn't think anything could go wrong.
There was one friend I made that was much older than me. I didn't think anything of it because I felt we had a close connection. When you work in the industry I did, it is normal for those connections to happen.
She was 11 years older than me with kids and a husband. It was a good work relationship until she invited me over to her house.

I close my eyes and stand up my hand around my gun, planning to never let it go.
