It was a normal day in the taskforce building,you were new to the kira case,it was your first day so you wouldn't know much about who you were working with.

I sigh and walk into a building,pushing open some doors revealing behind them some people,they turned to me apart from someone in a chair in front of a bunch of cameras.

"H-hi,I'm new to the case"

The people who stared nodded and one walked over to me,a female with blonde hair and Gothic type clothes.

"I'm misa! I don't work on the Kira case though I'm just here due to being suspected as the second Kira"

She reached her hand out to shake mine so I shake her hand as she smiled so I introduce myself.

"I'm y/n- y/n L/n"

The girl nodded and let go of my hand and turned her head to someone who had just walked in.

"Liiight!"

She jumped into his arms and wrapped her arms around him forcing him into a hug.

I turn my head to the others,they all seemed to be male,I walk over and we all introduce ourselves,after that we got to work,I couldn't stop thinking about who that boy in the chair was,he never told me his name,or even talked to me.

Once we were finished with that days work the black haired male sitting oddly in a chair turned to me and finally spoke to me.

"You will stay in a room here like the others,and by the way I am ryuzaki"

(Forgot how its spelled oh geez)

I nodded understandingly.

"Thank you for telling me and its a pleasure to meet you,I am y/n l/n"

-L's POV-

Something about them was nice to me,I couldn't put my finger on exactly what.

Their name was cute,and so was their smile when they were speaking to misa in between working with the others.

"If you ever need anything I will be down here working probably still awake as per usual"

I never sleep half the time,I only sleep on the rare occasions for only 2 or 3 hours if I am lucky.

I was working on the case as per usual,I still haven't slept in a while,maybe I should sleep tonight.

There are more important things to worry about than your sleep schedule,hopefully someone must of told the new person that I am L due to me not telling them,and me just forgetting to because I use ryuzaki as a name so often.

-your POV-

I was awoken by some noisy birds outside my window,they chirped happily while I wasn't so happy.

I look over at my clock

5:00am

Damn its kinda early,oh well I guess I'll get an early start.

I get into my work attire,a white shirt,a red tie and black skirt/trousers.

I walk out of my room and into the room with a bunch of surveillance screens and a tired L sat in his chair drinking over sweetened coffee,I decide to talk to him.

"How was your sleep?"

He replied in his blank tone of voice.

"I didn't sleep actually."
