Oakley was now 5 months old. Me and Keegan were planning on getting married when Oakley turns one, which is in seven months. We've been engaged for a while, and not to brag, but my ring is gorgeous.
I got out of bed and went into Oakley's nursery to find her laying in her crib cooing. "Hey baby girl." I walked over to her crib and picked her up, cradling her in my arms. I took a picture and captioned it: ❤️😻
I left the nursery and stood in the doorway of mine and Keegan's room. "Babe, are you in the shower?" I heard the water running but wasn't sure if Keegan was in the shower. I walked into the bathroom where Keegan had a towel on, shaving. "Hey Oak. Hey babe." Keegan kissed me, getting shaving cream on my neck. "Let me get that off for you." He wiped it off with his finger and kissed my neck. "Keegan, we can't. We have a baby now." "But I miss it." "Babe, I know but it just can't happen. Not for a while." I shut the bathroom door and went downstairs to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle. While I was feeding Oakley, my phone flashed meaning I got a text.

By the time I finished texting Shay, Oakley was done eating. I sat her bottle on the table and put her burp rag over my shoulder to burp her. "Good girl, Oak." I took her into the living room and put her in her swing. I ran upstairs to get a blanket so I could relax on the couch. I grabbed my favorite blanket and ran back down the stairs, into the living room. I grabbed the remote and sat on the couch, wrapping myself up in my blanket. I heard Keegan come down the stairs, so me being the fiancée I am, of course I asked him to get me a cup of coffee. "Babe, will you get me some coffee? Please?" "Yeah. Creamer and sugar?" "Yep. Thanks." "Of course." Several minutes later, Keegan came into the living room with two cups of coffee. I moved my feet so he could sit down, putting my feet in his lap. I was drinking my coffee while staring at Oakley. "She's so cute when she's sleeping." "Kinda like her momma. You're adorable when you're sleeping." "Oh and Shay found Alex's father. It's Nathan." "Wow. Her high school boyfriend Nathan?" "Yeah. Apparently they got back together years after high school and she got pregnant with Alex after it happened between you to. But the DNA proved you aren't Alex's dad." "Wow. But Alex looks so much like me." "I know. It's weird." "Troian?" "Yeah?" "Do you want more kids?" "I mean, right now, no. But ask me that in two years, maybe." "I love you." "I love you to, Keegs."

Saga of the Soul Dungeon
When Caden dies in an accidental fall, he is merged with a dungeon core in another world. The problem with that? The dungeon core wasn't dead, and he has share mind-space with it. And that doesn't take into account mastering his new abilities well enough to escape from the powerful wizard that is, understandably, leery about allowing a dungeon to escape. Even after he manages to escape he needs to found and manage a dungeon. Of course the location he chose might have a few issues of its own. He is on the border of two human nations who are not particularly pleased to share. A sentient plant race claims the dungeon as sacred ground. And, amidst the chaos, teams of adventurers just want to make a living and figure out how to deal with the latest challenge. Just so readers know, Caden is not a murder-hobo. He is a genuinely nice person trying to make the best of his situation. If you want a main character that revels in killing people, this is not the book for you. This is a reworking, and continuation, of my original novel into first person. And it is going great! The writing is well past where my original novel got to. This work will never be dropped. Hiatuses may happen due to life, but I will never abandon this fiction. Currently 20+ chapters on Patreon

8 168Black Sheep's Freedom
A group of youths is transported to another world governed by a [System]. Their future now lies at a crossroads. For survival, for power, for a way home, a path must be chosen. Will they grasp the inviting hand? Will they set forth unaided, unshackled? Yet the most important choice, however, is where to place their faith. The false worshippers? The oddball in their midst? Or themselves? For free will is precious and the die only rolls once. ----- This is a tale of how a [System] died, but don't tell people that, it is kind of a big spoiler. Although, it is implied from the first few chapters, so it might not be that big of a deal? ----- I'm a novice at writing and the story might have plotholes due to lack of careful planning, but I hope you readers will enjoy the journey as I do enjoy writing this. Not very familiar with the tagging system, so I'm going to take suggestions other than the ones I checked myself, thank you! Updates will be on Monday and Thursday each week. UTC +7
