"What?" While the others stay silent, processing the doctor's words type calls out immediately, "what do you I'm pregnant? That isn't even possible, remember I'm a guy."

He can't even understand what the doctor is saying. He wonders why the doctor even thought he's pregnant clearly knowing that type is a male, not a woman who have female reproductive system to carry a child.

"See Mr. Type, I do know you're a male and males don't conceive but that's what your report is showing, that you're carrying a child. Even I can't process this. I have read books and seen in report's about some special males getting pregnant and giving birth to a child but me actually experience this with a patient of mine is the first time." The doctor shares, though already having some idea about this kind of things it's still shocking to him because now he's the one involved, the one treating the patient.

"S-still I-I can't understand all this." Type states in a low voice and his eyes hold no focus, he's already lost in his thoughts.

"I understand it's hard to believe but to make things clear I can tell you that males getting pregnant does happen. There are certain people who were males but had children. It happens because of certain reasons and in most cases the reasons are unknown. Some of the most possible reasons can be that when you were in your mother's womb, you started as a girl but later developed male organs and fully became a boy. Other is when there was more than one fetus in the womb but due to many reasons the others can't survive and the one surviving would observe the others thus includes their organs as well. I know it's all complicated to understand but give it some time and thought. If you would want I can perform the tests again or you can consult other doctor's for more confirmation." The doctor explains.

"It's not necessary." Type's mother's voice makes the others look at her, "it's not necessary to consult others, I believe you."

"Is there something that you want to tell us?" The doctor puts forth because by hearing her words he realised she knows something which the others doesn't and that it's related to type.

She looks at type who's staring at her, still surprised because his mother said she believes the doctor. She sighs before turning back to face the doctor and reveals the secret behind type's pregnancy.

"Years back when I was pregnant, in my first trimester it showed I was expecting twins. In later check ups, we found the gender of the babies. One was boy and the other was girl. However few weeks after the check up, I had pains and when we went to the doctor, we were told one of the twin was vanishing. It was because my body wasn't cooperating to carry two babies. The doctor informed us that the other twin would observe the vanishing twin."

"After hearing what you said, I remembered about this and as type observed his twin who was a girl, he might got the organs from her because of which he's pregnant now, despite being a male." Type's mother reveals the reason what could possibly be for type's pregnancy.

"That makes sense, I believe that's the reason why he's able to carry a child." The doctor nods in agreement.

The room then becomes silent, type and tharn don't know what's actually going on anymore. Type didn't know he had a twin who didn't even born but because of her now he's going to have a child. While tharn, he's trying his hardest to understand everything. This shocking news is clouding his mind making him unable to think anything. He be happy knowing that type isn't not actually sick and that they're expecting a child. But learning such a secret behind type's birth and news about their child, is too much to take in at once. Type and tharn are both busy in their own thoughts.

Type looks at tharn and seeing him in his own thoughts gives type some unknown feelings. He can't point out what if is, all he knows is it's not a good feeling. He wonders what tharn might be thinking about his birth and his ability to carry a child. So many questions occupy his mind, most of them scary and heart breaking.

"I want to go home." Type says finally breaking the silence and bringing tharn out of his thoughts.

"Sure, you guys take your time regarding this. I'll be expecting a visit from you next week. I'll examine you again, this time I'll do the pregnancy test and prescribe you medicine if necessary. For now stop taking the medicines I'll given you last time." The doctor indirectly informs them to visit him again next week.

"Thank you, doctor." Tharn thanks him, his first spoken words after all the revelation.

The doctor nods at him with a smile and they get up as they leave the room. Walking out, tharn's mother stands up seeing them and moves to them.

"What did the doctor say? Everything is fine, right?" She asks hurriedly, hoping nothing is wrong with her son-in-law.

"We'll talk after going home, mom." Tharn responds making her frown but she don't say anything to that, instead just nods at him.

Leaving the hospital, tharn drives to their parents house. Though his eyes are focused on the road, his mind is still thinking about what happened back at the hospital. He just can't stop thinking about it. He still can't believe they're going to have a child and in all honesty he don't know what to do. Unknowingly he let's out a sigh. Type who has been observing tharn from the time the drive started, finally turns the other side and looks out the window as he surpass his tears from falling.

When they reach the house, they all go in and sit in the living room. Tharn's mother, father and type's father curiously waits for the others to tell about what is wrong with type. Seeing type and tharn being silent, type's mother decides she'll be the one who reveals to them.

"Type is pregnant."

I don't know about medical stuff and the reason I used here is just a made up for the story purpose. I did read something about one fetus vanishing and other observing but about pregnancy I just made it up.
