Chapter XXVII
January2nd-5:28pm
"Over here!" Nathan shouted as he waved down the approaching dropship. As the ship landed, 5 spec op soldiers emerged from the inside.
"Here you go sir." Nathan said to the commander of the squad as he handed over the camera.
"Thank you son. The name's Tyson, commander Tyson."He said taking the camera and handing it to the pilot.
"The rest of my squad should be on their way now."Nathan said.
"Okay. We'll meet them. All I need you to do is-" Tyson started before being interrupted.
From behind them, Commander Nicolai emerged from the cliff below.
Christopher and Trinity being held hostage.
"Shit..." Nathan said as he aimed his sub-machine gun at the group, along with Tyson and the rest of his 5 man squad.
"Put your guns down." Nicolai said as he aimed a pistol at Chis' head. "Or your Captain dies."
Tyson looked around. Finally, he said:
"Put your guns down men. Now.l"
The 6 of them threw their guns down on the ground and they were picked up by Nicolai's men.
"Now, pilot! Get out!" He yelled toward the pilot of the dropship. "And come out here!"
The pilot did as he was told and walked out the ship, hand in the air. As he walked out, Nicolai raised his pistol and shot him square in the chest. He fell to the ground. Dead.
"What the?! Why?!" Nathan shouted as he struggled in his restraints. "He didn't do anything!"
"He was killed for two reasons. Number one, we had to make an example. Number two, there was no room." Nicolai said.
"You heartless bastard..." Chris said. Speaking up.
"Shut you fucking faces and get in the ship. Nicolai ordered."

The surrendered spec ops did as they were told and got in the ship.
"Where are we going?" Trinity asked Nicolai.
"Venus."

The travel from earth to Venus took about a half of a day. Finally, the captured spec ops and Russian soldiers could see the the colony, as well as their target: The Communications tower in the center of the colony.

Chapter XXIX
January 3rd-12:42
Jason and I had been fighting off the buggers for what seemed like forever. They just kept coming. Finally Jason ran over to the console.
"Cover me! I'm gonna try and get a distress signal up!" He yelled.
"Okay! But I'm running low!" I yelled back as I checked my handgun ammo and saw that I was almost out.
"Take this!" A voice shouted at me from the elevator. I looked over and saw that it was Lee. He HAD survived. He tossed me his shotgun and took out an assault rifle from his back.
"Lee!" I yelled as I felt a feeling of joy jump through my body.
As I looked over to Lee, I hadn't noticed the eminent zombie hybrid closing in on me. As I turned to shoot it, several bullets ripped through it'a side and it fell dead.
"I know I'm hot, but don't let that distract you!" Lee said. This made me smile and fight harder.
"Guys!" Jason shouted. "We have an incoming dropship!" As he said this, he ran toward the open droppad area.
"OVER HEAR!!!!" I heard him yell.
As the dropship landed, I was exstatic to see Christopher, Trinity, Nathan, and a couple other spec ops. However, my joy was short lived as I saw that they were tied up. To make things worse, several Russians seemed to be their captures.

The first Russian stepped out of the shuttle and was instantly killed by an attacking bugger.
"Commander Nicolai! We need back-up!" The Russian yelled to his commander.
"...untie the prisoners and give them their wepons!" The man I assumed to be Commander Nicolai ordered.
As he said this, the remaining Russians untied my fellow spec ops and gave them their guns. Within no time, they all joined the fight.
The fight was long, viscous, and bloody. Even though there was me, Chris, Nathan, Trinity, Jason, Lee, 5 other spec ops, Commander Nicolai, and 3 other Russian soldiers. 15 in all. We just couldn't seem to stop all the buggers. Finally, the last bigger hit the concrete floor of the building, dead.

Chapter XXX
January 3rd-1:24pm
"Go to the main communications console and contact the Mother Dawn." Commander Nicolai ordered.
"Mother Dawn?" The spec op commander named Tyson said.
"That is the war frigate we have in the airspace over Venus." Nicolai explained. "We're glassing the planet."
"Glassing it?!" Lee shouted. "Shouldn't we like...GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE?!"
"No...YOU will get off this planet. My men and I are staying behind to give you time to retreat to the Mather Dawn." Nicolai answered.
"But we can-" Chris started to say.
"COMMANDER! THE MOTHER DAWN JUST SAID THEY ARE WARMING UP THE GUNS! WE ONLY HAVE ABOUT TEN MINUTES TO LEAVE!" I heard one of the Russians shout to their commander.
"...I understand." Commander Nicolai said as he took off his helmet. He had short blonde hair and blue eyes, the typical Russian.
"Come on everyone. These Russians aren't kidding." Tyson said. "Everyone on the ship. NOW!"
As we all packed onto the ship, I gave one last look at Nicolai and his small squad of Russian soldiers. Why would they sacrifice themselves? They must have had a reason. I intended to find out.
As we prepared for takeoff the planet I had been stranded on, I noticed movement coming from outside the ship. As I looked over to see what it was, I saw Krystal making her way over to us! The was injured thought, I noticed a large amount of blood dropping from her side, fast.
As she climbed onboard the already cramped ship, Tyson gave the order to take off.
We were in the air for about five minutes or so before I heard the pilot shout.
"SIR! THEY'RE FIRING THE GLASS ROUNDS! THEY'RE ABOUT TO BLOW VENUS TO HELL!!!! ALONG WITH US!!!!!" He shouted.
This caused us all to panic.
"Fly at top speed!" Tyson ordered. "I don't give a damn if we run out if fuel! Go Go Go!!!"
I rushed to the window of Te ship to look out. I saw a huge beam of blue light shoot from the clouds.
The pure impact of the blast was enough to shake the shuttle we were in very violent. On the last time the ship jerked, I hit my head on something so hard that Krystal's helmet I was wearing cracked. I was knocked out instantly.
The world went black...

Gods How I Hate Nature
While there are always choices in life, lately they’ve all tended to skew between bad, terrible, and suicidal. Tome finds himself typically choosing the latter. As if people and plants consistently trying to kill him wasn’t bad enough, he finds himself sent off to a Mage Spire along with a self-righteous other worlder (as though there were any other kind). Add to this some powerful figures in black, a sadistic instructor, an uptight law keeper, and Tome just wants to go back to his room, down a pint, and forget about everything… But, when someone starts a fight, especially someone bigger and stronger, you bide your time and strength. Before you can get revenge, you have to settle for surviving and slowly gaining power. That means accepting the most suicidal choices, doing the jobs no one else will do, always smiling, and not slitting that other worlder’s throat… (The story will incorporate comedy, but it will be a dark story. This won't be a happy, uplifting tale, but it also won't be too morose or depressing. Though if you're rooting for the other worlders, then I suppose it will be...)
