《Revenant》A day beforehand

Rias watched Harvey and Io she was fascinated by Io, she was able to wield a massive polearm with her smell body, she looked a lot like Koneko too, minus her chest and voice, but her eyes continued to lay on Harvey as she watched him swing at the trees with his overly massive sword, slicing right through them, he seemed to make special, devastating moves that cause waves of what looked to blood around him (The Ichor most likely), one of them was when he spins around his left with his sword outstretched then a simple horizontal slash to the right and a jump up downward hammer strike (Tripe Annihilator). Another was one that was even more peculiar, where he launched the sword out in front of him, going several feet ahead with what seemed to be that Blood look attached to the Pommel, before he pulled it back nearer to him before spinning clockwise for two whole rotations, a ring of red formed around him before he held back on to the sword (Legion Punisher).
Rias came over to Io and sat next to her on the edge on the cliff, "Hey, Io, what world did you come from?" Io looked over, "I am not sure myself still, however, I do know some." "Would you mind telling me?" "a mysterious disaster brought collapse to our world as we knew it. skyscrapers, that were once symbols of prosperity, are now graves of humanity's past, pierced by Thorns of Judgment. At the centre of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fights to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for our memories and a thirst for blood. Giving in to the bloodlust we fully risk becoming one of the fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity, the Lost. Wandering aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satisfy their hunger. We need to stop them."

Rias looked on at the girl's monologue with sympathy, she couldn't understand how hard their lives must be but she has the ability to try and support them. "I would like to know what a successor is, you mentioned Harvey to be the Successor of the Queen's blood." Io felt slightly uncomfortable as she normally talked this much to no one but Harvey being his Attendant and Lover, "When the Queen was defeated by Harvey after she frenzied, to stop the ceaseless resurrection of the queen, her body was divided into relics. A small number of revenants, that are compatible with the relics, are chosen to have those relics implanted into them mostly out of their consent. Those successors are then brought to a specific place where they live out the rest of their lives in a constant struggle against frenzying. Successors have within them the ability to alter their surrounding into something of their choice termed as crypts."
"And Harvey?" "He has within him, the Blood of the Queen herself, and he has brought back prosperity to Vein within the mist, he is able to rejuvenate blood springs and Mistles and can restore vestiges, their memories, whilst also being able to take on their power as a Void-type." "And a Void type?" "They are Revenants who have a broken Blood Code, allowing them to take on anyone else's," "So that means he has more than one?" "yes." "How many?" "I am not sure, but I believe he has more than 20." Io was getting increasingly more uncomfortable before Harvey came over and sat beside her with a smile. Rias couldn't believe he had more than 20 of these Blood Codes, she deducted that these were basically their power and knowing she had an extremely powerful man on her side, she couldn't just let him leave.

It was now 9 PM, a woman appeared in a French Maid's outfit, Grayfia Lucifuge, "It seems as though you have two new members, I am Grayfia Lucifuge, I will be transporting you to your place within the rating game, please be ready." A transportation circle appeared below the group as they were teleported.
Rias' peerage appeared within the ORC or Occult Research Club. "This seems to be the club room," Akeno spoke as Issei went over and looked at the sky, "P-president! The sky!" "Yes Issei, we're in a pocket dimension, not everything will be the same." Rias had them gather round after recuperation, "If we're here, then Riser is most likely placed in the Student Council office, we'll have to get there quickly as possible if we want to win; Issei, Koneko, both of you will head to the Gym, Akeno, you will take to the skies and provide Air support, Asia, you'll be staying with me, Kiba, You'll take the forest and the schoolgrounds, Io and Harvey, I'm not entirely sure on how you fight together but I want you to mainly head to the School Grounds, Kiba will show you the way." Harvey squinted, "Won't you need support, Io can help." Rias looked at Io, "Only if she's ok with it." Harvey looked at Io, she nodded, "Then it's decided, Io will stay with me."
---
Harvey left the building with his sword on his shoulders and his veil being worn, but not before seeing a mistle that he activated by dropping his blood onto it, if he were to die, he would simply respawn there. Kiba came out after him, "I still can get over the size of your sword," "It simply deals the most amount of damage to the Lost." Harvey smiled at him before walking off, H understood what the School grounds looked like. "Are your ready everyone?" Rias spoke through the earpiece that Everyone was given, Harvey hummed, though it was abnormal for him not to have a partner with him, he didn't mind as he was only going up against some devils.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
