bill was particularly nervously on sunday night, and georgie was determined to find out why.
he could tell the boy was fidgety, pacing around his room, and he was utterly confused when bill ripped open his entire closet, just to settle with a casual sweatshirt and jeans, black vans on his feet.
he was even more confused when bill brushed his hair in the evening, and brushed his teeth harder than ever, using minty toothpaste, even though he knew the boy hated mint.
"bill, please tell me what's going on." the boy asked for the hundredth time, but all bill answered with was a small shrug.
when the doorbell rang, bill didn't mind when georgie swung the front door open to see stan, gulping in slightly at the sight of the small boy.
"hey, is bill here?" stan asked georgie, who scratched his hand.
"billy!" georgie called after a moment, the anticipation being a lot for stan.
finally bill met stan at the door, who immediately blushed at the sight of him. "h-hi." stan stuttered, and he wished more than ever that bill would reply.
bill gave him a small wave, and stan almost laughed at the cute gesture, before reaching his hand out for bill's, in which he immediately took.
bill turned towards georgie for a moment, handed him a small slip of paper in his pocket, and closed the door.
"ready?" stan asked, motioning towards the car, and bill simply smiled, nodding a bit.
once they entered the car, bill quickly texted stan.
bill: where are we going?
stan: somewhere and nowhere
bill gave the boy a confused look, while stan just laughed, turning on the engine and backing out with the driveway.
bill found himself stuck on staring at two small flowers hanging from the car roof, visible on the dashboard. two sunflowers, simple but yet complex with a deeper meaning.

they arrived in a large field of grass, stan parking the truck in the field. (a/n: the one in the end scene of IT)
bill: what is this place?
stan stared at him and smiled, before getting out of the car and opening bill's door for him, making bill feel special.
"somewhere and nowhere." he answered, and bill loved this romantic side of him, following him to the grass, where he set up a picnic.
bill didn't need to text him, his facial expression showed the answer enough.
they were truly somewhere and nowhere. sometimes bill thought his whole life was somewhere, but yet nowhere.

He's not as cold as she thinks, and she's not as naive as he thinks.A modern combination of mind over heart, or is it heart over mind?•••Ch. 39 Excerpt"Thank you for having the patience with me." Damien broke the silence, almost inaudibly when he began to feel Ella's full body trust him enough to begin to fall unconscious over him.Thinking that Ella wouldn't respond, Damien was ready to close his eyes and also go to sleep, but then he felt Ella's cold hand give him the smallest and most adoring squeeze on his warm fingers, her hum of something incoherent before she stilled completely, her breathing falling deeply.Even in her sleep, she could sense Damien, she would respond even in unconsciousness, and that made Damien's heart skip a beat."To say that you are my whole existence and life would be the biggest understatement, my Ella." Damien sighed, incredulous that he had been blessed with such a beautiful and extraordinary human.

Shadow in the North
What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
