The circle of Khanna pt2

"Has anyone seen my shoes?" Ella asked her roommates. But they just kept quiet, sniggering. "No." Genevieve smile in a sly look at Valgora.

She frowned, "Then what am I supposed to wear for my feet?"

"You can always be barefoot." Valgora shrugged, walking toward the door.

Amanda came inside the dormitory with her hair wet. "I lost my toothbrush again- why are you barefoot?" she questioned.

Ella opened her mouth but she was cut by Amanda announcing something, "And I found this by the way." She held out two pairs of shoes. Ella's eyes widened when she realized it was hers. "That's my shoes! Thank you!" she exclaimed.

"Damn it, I told you to hid somewhere else!" She heard Genevieve hissing at Valgora. "What am I supposed to do."

Ella acted like she didn't hear them, shaking her head and putting on her shoes. Seraphina popped from the door, "Where's- Ella, Hurry!" she gestures her to come with her to The Great Hall

"What took you so long?" Seraphina walked out of the common room with Ella behind her, "My shoes disappeared."

Seraphina halt to look at her feet and raised her head with a frown. "Your shoes are perfectly there." She pointed at her shoes. "Amanda found it."

After the second class, there was finally no class before lunch. Seraphina invited Ella to do their homework in the common room together with Jake and James. But she declined the invitation, remembering their going to an empty DADA class with the rest member of the circle of Khanna.

She walked to the empty class with Fred and George, talking about how the twin prank Filch today, he was outraged! They received detention for that and Percy was too outraged.

As soon as they got to the class, they spotted many students. But only Tonks caught her eyes, she was dueling with Tulip Kasaru. "Wotcher, Ellie!"

"Hey, Tonks." She greeted, not wanting to disturb her dueling. "Isn't that your brother?" She asked the twin when she saw another male with red-haired, Bill Weasley.

"Yeah. He graduated but I reckon if he's here to train us..." George placed his finger on his chin, thinking. But then shrugged.

Ella took her moment to look around all the people when she spotted Cedric as well. He was dueling with Diego Caplan. She was confused, why is he here? She chooses to ignore and walk with the twin toward the mechanical Death Eater.

Three of them took turns to knock over the dummies with a defensive spell, "Flipendo!" She exclaimed and the spell shot the dummies. While others were dueling, Fred, George, Ella, Beatrix, and Ismelda were practicing spells on the dummies.

Ella told the twins she didn't want to duel since she doesn't know any spell to duel, unlike Cedric. They were taught a few spells, such as Langlock.

After the meeting of the Circle of Khanna, they all went separate ways back to their dormitory. "Hey!" She heard someone from behind, calling out her name while running to her.

"Oh hey, Diggory." She beamed at him.

Cedric finally caught up to her, "Off to the common room?" he asked. Ella answered with a nod.

"I'll come with you!" He suggested, "Yea sure."

Both Cedric and Ella had no idea how they got in the circle of Khanna. "So you joined the Circle Of Khanna?" Cedric questioned while tapping the right barrel with his wand. "Yeah, I followed Tonks into the Transfiguration room with Fred and George and we got caught." She chuckled, recalling the reaction on their face.

"I was asked to join by Ben Cooper, and I joined because, why not?" He shrugged. Seraphina turned her head to the familiar voice and beamed. She stood up and approach them. "There you are, where were you two?"

"Uh... a place." Seraphina narrowed her eyes, "Alright then! James suggested making a gathering tomorrow night with the other first-year Hufflepuff. You know, to get along? What do you think?"

Cedric and Ella exchanged looks at each other before shrugging and answering, "Yea sure. Why not." Cedric replied but Ella shrugged. "I need to go and do my homework... care to join me, anyone?"

It took Jake's attention when he stood up, facing her. "Is it a potion? I could join!"

"More like Astronomy. We had to name the stars remember?" She answered with a lazy tone. "I'll join! I'm bad in Astronomy... you seem to be good at it though." James joined.

Ella nodded before running into her dormitory and running back into the common room. "Hello, Leo. Bye Leo." She greeted the cat who was sleeping on Ella's bed.

Ella halt from running, thinking is that the bed the cat was sleeping on? Why is Seraphina's cat sleeping on her bed? She frowned but shakes it off as she ran back into the common room where her friends were waiting for her. "Let's head to the library," Jake suggested.

"Alright but let's not make any noise. Last time we were kicked out." Cedric chuckled. It's true, Cedric was with them when he was kicked out of the library. "You were kicked out as well?" Ella snorted in the middle of her words. "Too much pressure for pretty boy Diggory."

Cedric frowned hearing her saying 'Pretty Boy Diggory.' It's what the twin called him, Pretty Boy Diggory. "Let's go." She gave a small smile and walk to the exit of the common room.

As they were walking out, they heard a barrel was knocked over and turned to Seraphina. "Ugh, why the hell are there so many barrels!" She groaned, trying to pick one out of her way and continue to walk with the other.

"Can you remind me soon Ced, I need to water my plants soon after finishing our homework?" James asked.

Cedric gave a reassuring nod. "You kept a plant in your dorm?" Ella asked, frowning at him.

"I'm allergic to Lilies." Seraphina made a disgusting expression while spitting it out.

"Yeah, and it's not lily. They're just Daffodils." James shook his head.

For half of the walking to the library, they were talking about plants which will be answered by the one and only James Burke.

After finding a seat in the library, all of them opened their astronomy homework and started to work on it. With confusion, James asked Ella what she had understood about the lesson they were taught in class, he didn't pay much attention since he wasn't really interested in that class.

"Oh! I just found out, you're name means 'Star'! Isn't it? In Latin I guess... I made some research from a few books." Seraphina asked with excitement. Ella hummed and nodded her head in response.

Seraphina shrugged, getting back into doing her homework.
