The Tonks
"Dora...wake up~" Estella whispers, having a white feather in her hands as she tickles her cousin's nose.
Her cousin Nymphadora Tonks, prefers being called Tonks instead of her name sneezed from the feather on her nose"Ellie!" She groaned.
Ella scoffed, slightly slapping Tonks's arm, standing up from sitting on her knees, "Wake up, this is the fifth time aunt Andy sent me to wake you up." She placed her hands on her waist, eyebrows furrowed.
Tonks who was half awake groaned, rise up from her bed, "Fine, I'm awake!"
"Better be, I will wait for you in the kitchen. Bye. And don't go back to sleep." Ella pointed her fingers at Tonks before walking down the stairs.
In the kitchen, her uncle Ted was reading a newspaper while Andromeda preparing breakfast. "Is she up yet, Ellie?" Andromeda wipes her wet hands on a dry towel.
"Not if she went back to sleeping," Ella answered, taking a seat next to uncle Ted. It took a few minutes, Tonks finally came to the kitchen, just in time before Ted eat his breakfast.
'THUD!' A loud thud coming from the window caught their attention, it was an owl, carrying letters. "Don't you just love when a bird crashes your window?" Tonks said sarcastically, not even feeling surprised. She got up from her seat to open the window.
The owl had big eyes, its feathers are white. Cute, but creepy as Ella would describe. She'd always imagined if owls like them stares at her when she sleeps. Of course, it's ridiculous, that's how her mind works.
Tonks grabbed the letters after paying the owl some money before walking back to the table. Switching letters from the front to the back as she reads the front letters. She walks past Ella, dropping a letter on her lap that was meant to be hers.

"I have a letter?" The letter soon fell from her lap to the floor. From the seat, she bends down to grab the letter, reading who it's for to make sure. "Who would send me a letter?"
"Maybe it's Hogwarts." Edward Tonks said with an assuring way. Ella took out the letter in her hand and began to read it quietly;
Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore (Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwup, International Confed. of a Wizards)
Dear Ms. Black,
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.
Yours sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy of headmistress
"Oh, you're right. It is from Hogwarts." Ella placed the letter on the table next to her breakfast with a beaming smile. She won't say she's surprised. She's not surprised at all, but she is sure happy and excited to receive that letter.
Andromeda gave her a reassuring smile, "Perfect, we shall go to the Diagon Alley tomorrow. And if you won't mind, I will be holding this letter. " Ella shook her head, telling her she wouldn't mind at all. Besides, she doesn't even know what to do to the letter.
For 8 years, after her father was sent to Azkaban, the Tonks took her in as their own. She treated them as her own family. She sometimes likes to annoy Tonks by calling her 'Nymphadora' and adores her magic abilities which Tonks used to use when her cousin feels down, and she never seems to feel tired watching her changing her appearance. She does hate it when Tonks uses it to prank her by changing her face like the creepy ghost she once told Ella.

She still keeps in touch with Remus, since he's too busy looking for jobs, he doesn't have many times to spend some time with her. Ella of course knew why it's hard for him to find a job, especially when he's a werewolf which she found out by an accident. She hardly meets him now.
She only remembers Harry as her friend who is a baby, she didn't know that he is her god-brother because she could hardly remember. She didn't want to remember, she liked the life she had now and she didn't want it to change.
Staying with the Tonks was great! She has a cousin who completely teaches her unnecessary things, which made Andromeda annoyed. "Please do not teach her that stuff, Dora." sometimes, these words come out of Andromeda's mouth. But the two girls never listen to her.

"So what if you got sorted into Hufflepuff?" Tonks frowned, sitting on her cousin's bed. Ella wasn't complaining that she doesn't want to be in Hufflepuff. "There's nothing wrong with being a Hufflepuff, I'm asking you what if I got sorted into Hufflepuff."
Tonks cleared her throat, "You get to be in the same house with me, I mean who doesn't want to be in the same house as I am?" Tonks said proudly with her hand on her chest. "Look, who cares about houses, alright? We're still family." Said Tonks, laying on her cousin's bed with her arms spread.
"What is aunt Andy doing?" she heard a loud whisper from the living room. Tonks got up from her bed and shrugged, "They're probably betting what house you'll get sorted into." Tonks snorted and laugh at her own guess, along with Ella.
"We should get to bed before Mum starts checking on us," said Tonks, climbing on her own bed across the room and turning off the lights.

Things begin to escalate from there. **This project is a bit of an experiment! For any given chapter, Mia's 'decklist' will be built by the community, over on our Discord server. If you find this amusing, and want to participate in the discussion, as well as find the complete list of cards, you will be able to find the link to the Discord server at the end of each chapter. Discussion in the comments is also encouraged and included as well. Each chapter and/or scenario will be intentional, but the cards used will be chosen by you guys. Jokes On You
ON INDEFINITE HIATUS-> It's DEAD, Jim. Dropped. Not trying this anymore. Sorry. Our story revolves around a man stuck perpetually in black and blue humor. He also gets his ass kicked around until he's black and blue. However, he must deal with his earthly and unearthly problems in the same way. He must survive. Even if he's a shell of his former self. This storyline originates in Tekton history and builds around the Main Character, who narrates. He is reluctant with the standards of the Otherworldly as his situation can be humorous at the expense of our Narrator. Do not expect to be pleased, but somewhat entertained. *Profanity Warning* Cover is not made by me nor mine.
