Zeus? What in the three realms are you doing here? You never visit." Hades said, standing from his desk to greet his brother.

"Brother! Long time no see," Zeus said, shaking Hades hand. "Hecate told me you'd be busy today and you needed some papers to be signed, so I just came to get this over with as quickly as possible."

"Okay... well what's he doing here?" Hades' face turned into a bitter expression as he saw the purple sun god come from behind Zeus.

"Oh, well he heard that I was coming to the Underworld and said he had to see one of your employees. Why don't you go on and find him, Apollo?"

"Not a him, but I'll go-" Apollo started, but was interrupted by a creak of the door behind Hades, and a pink figure stepped into the office.

"Hey, Hades! Hecate told me to drop off these papers-" suddenly she stopped.

Hades turned around with a smile that immediately turned into a frown when he saw Persephone's terrified face. She looked like she'd just seen a ghost.

"Hello, Persephone. Thank you," he said while reaching for the papers, "is... everything okay?"

"Y-yeah, totally..." she stuttered out.

"Ah, just the girl I wanted to see!" Apollo said, striding over to Persephone.

Persephone clutched onto Hades' suit and let out a small whimper.

Hades instantly stepped forward to Persephone, blocking his way to get to her, and summoning his bident, "Apollo, you need to leave. Now."

"I need to see her, she's never home, always at work, Hades. Why are you keeping her here?" Apollo said, trying to push him away.

Hades muttered something in Greek, which made his bident start humming and glowing.

"What's your problem, you old-"

"Apollo!" Zeus spat, gripping his shoulder.

Persephone just froze behind Hades and clutched harder onto his suit without realizing it.

Hades turned around to see a shaking Persephone, eyes red from terror.

"Hey, it okay," he whispered to her, "I'm not gonna let anything happen to you."

He turned around to face Zeus and Apollo, still holding Persephone's trembling hand, "Zeus, we'll have to reschedule. Take Apollo to Olympus, he's banned from the Underworld." He said, eyes beginning to glow white.

"What?! Why would-"

"APOLLO! Shut up, you are not permitted to see Persephone without her consent." Zeus said, giving him a dead stare, then turning back to Hades, "Yes brother, we'll be going."

Zeus looked over to Persephone and gave her a kind smile, "Don't worry, Perse, he won't be able to get to you without me knowing."

"Thank you, brother, I'll call you." Hades said.

Zeus materialized out of Hades' office, still gripping Apollo's shoulder and bringing him with.

Once he was gone, Hades turned over to Persephone, squatting down and putting a comforting hand to her shoulder, "What's wrong, sweetness? What happened?"

Persephone snapped back to reality as a tear streamed down her cheek, "I- he..."

"Hey!" Hades dematerialized his bident and pulled her into his arms, "it's gonna be okay, darling, everything will be okay."

Persephone held onto Hades as she sobbed into his coat, the memories flooding back to her.

"You've been flirting with me all day, Persie... Don't act like you don't want this... "

"Relax, I'm just taking pictures..."

"Don't you get it? I have feelings for you!"

"No, you WANTED it."

"NO!!" She screamed, pushing back and ramming into his desk. She flinched and fell to the floor.

"Persephone?? Kore, hey it's okay!" Hades said, inching slowly towards her.

"N-NO! Go away! I don't- I don't want it!" She yelled, pushing away from him.

Hades stepped back, concerned and not knowing what to do, ""

*Translation: "Hecate, come now."*

Hecate materialized into Hades' office, "Hades, what is your crisis?? I was in the middle of-" she stopped, suddenly seeing Persephone with ever growing hair with vines twisted in, her watery eyes were a dark crimson, and she was pressing her knees to her chest while shaking uncontrollably.

"Persephone?? Dear gods, what happened, darling?"

Hecate quickly sat by her side and pushed her hair behind her ear.

"H-Hecate?" Persephone croaked out.

"Yes, it's me, sweet girl, what happened?"

"I-I don't know- Apollo was here and... oh gods, HADES! I- I PUSHED HIM AWAY WHILE HE WAS TRYING TO CALM ME DOW-"

"Sweetness, it's okay, I'm fine," Hades chuckled, "I just called Hecate because I wasn't too sure what to do? I mean... female to female would probably be more comfortable for you?"

Hecate chuckled and turned back to Persephone, "What did Apollo do, Persephone?"

"I... I don't want to say..." she looked over to Hades with pleading eyes, "I don't even know how to tell you."

Hades' face softened as he stepped closer to Persephone, "Sweetness, just start from the beginning, I'll be here with you no matter what."

"But I don't want you to hate me, or think I'm dirty, or- or damaged or broken!" She cried.

"Kore, what are you talking abou-"

"Persephone, darling, tell me he didn't..." Hecate said, starting to get teary.

"Hecate, what??" Hades asked, urgently, "Persephone?"

Hecate has tears streaming down her face as she enveloped Persephone into her arms, "Kore... tell me it's not true..."

"It- he- it's true..." She whimpered, holding on to Hecate tightly.

"No... wait- K-Kore he-?!"

"Please don't- don't say it!" Came a muffled voice from Hecate's shoulder.

Hades pulled both women into his arms and had immense rage but sorrow written all over his face.

"Kore, I- I'll kill him. I swear I'll kill him," He growled.

How could Apollo do that? How could he hurt Persephone? And then come back??

"Hades... talk to her, I'll call Hera." Hecate told him, "Persephone, he won't get away with this. I promise."

Persephone nodded and let go of her, but instantly regretted it, she felt cold and alone and turned to cling onto Hades.

"I'll call you, μείνε μαζί της."

"Ευχαριστώ παλιό φίλο, θα το κάνω."

*Translation:

"Stay with her"

"Thank you, old friend, I will."*

Hecate walked out of the office, taking a few seconds to dab her wet eyes and taking a few breaths to calm down.

Hades' size was almost twice the size of Persephone's, so it was easy to cradle her petite body to his. He held her head up with one hand and rubbed her back gently.

"Thank you for trusting me, Kore. I promise everything will be okay, don't worry, love."

Persephone sniffed and nodded, "Thank you, Hades."
