"Is there a way to destroy all the bones in a body?" Skylar asked while they were lying on their best friend's lap. Donnie didn't even take a glance at them and continued to type on his phone.
"Yes, it's possible. If you're doing it on purpose, I would recommend a gadget that can easily fracture or break smaller bones like phalanges. But still, any tool right for the job will complete the task." He answered. Skylar let out a hum of acknowledgment and continued reading on their phone.
"What do you think it feels like to squeeze someone's eyeballs?" They spoke up again after a while.
"Probably like a stress ball just slimey. I don't know, I've never held one."
"What tool do you think is the most effective way to torturing someone?"
"Hmm, that can vary, I'm gonna have to skip that question."
"Okay."
"If you had the choice to how you will be murdered, what would you choose?" Donnie placed his phone down and looked down at Sky while leaning back with his hands. They bit their lip and blew a piece of their blue hair away from their face.
"Gun to the head. That's easy." They scoffed, rolling their eyes before they looked at him.
You and the other brothers just stared at the two with the most perplexed look on their faces. They have never heard the two close friends talk about anything this dark and it was a bit disturbing. It almost sounds like they were planning a way to torture and kill someone.
"Should we stop them?" You asked.
"No, I want to know more. This is be good." Mikey said while he rapidly start to take notes on a notebook.
"-and if you use some form of substance that can make your blood feel like acid, it can be a good way to break someone. Oh, maybe-"

"Okay, we're gonna have to stop right there." Leo interrupted Sky's ranting while he was leaning over on Donnie with one hand covering the brunette's mouth and the other placed on top of his brother's head. The two let out a groan of protest and looked at the red-eared slider with a glare.
"Care to explain why you interrupted a very entertaining conversation?" Donnie hissed our while he moved out of his brother's grip.
"By entertaining, you mean disturbing? Dude, you guys are talking about death and torture." Leo answered as he straightened up.
"What the heck do you guys talk about when we aren't around?" You asked looking at the two with a confused expression.
"Oh, ya know. Just bouncing ideas." Sky said with a wave of their hand as if it was just normal.
"You need to invite me into them because these ideas are creative!" Mikey said while he flipped through his notes with stars on his eyes.
"Mikey, not helping." Both you and Raph said, simultaneously.
"Oh, please. We've had worse conversations." Donnie said, rolling his eyes.
"There are worse?" You questioned with another perplexed look.
"Oh yeah. Waaay worse." Skylar said as they start to sit up. Once they did, they look at Donnie with the most mischievous smiles on both their faces. It almost looked evil.
"You guys are scary." Raph stated while pointing at them. The others nodded in agreement.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.

This is my first time writing publicly like this so I'd love to hear some comments and criticism.
