Nightmare POV:
I was still adjusting to life with Horror. Having a kid around proved be more of a challenge than I originally thought. Right now I was reading to him. The prince decided to listen in too. He apparently liked listening to me read kids books. Horror was nibbling on a mango, slowly falling asleep as I read to him. He was leaning against my chest, my arm draped over him. I liked these moments. These were the moments that made me...feel normal for once. A small smile formed at the corners of my mouth. Horror eventually fell fully asleep. I picked him up with one of my tentacles and brought him to his room. I had to watch my step, his room was a messy. 'I'll have him clean it up after his nap.' Horror liked his naps. He got grumpy if he ran out of energy during the day.
"Oi! N1ghtmar3!" A voice rang through my castle. I recognized Error's voice.
'Why's he here now?' I thought. I walked the way to him. He was in the living room.
"Need something Error?" I asked. He doesn't usually come unless he needs something, or he's lonely.
"I just lost to certain...protecter." He said the word protector with venom in his glitching voice. "I'm going to stay here to rest up." It wasn't a request. I didn't mind though, Error was my friend.
"Okay. Just be quiet. Horror's sleeping." I said
"Who's Horror?" Error asked, curiosity in his voice.
"Oh. Right." I remembered no one knew I had Horror. I explained the whole ordeal to my friend. "He also gets super grumpy if anyone wakes him up from a nap." I finished.
"Wow." Error commented "I didn't expect you to be the motherly type." He mocked
"At least I didn't get my butt kicked by a clumsy, forgetful, and stupid squid." I replied.
Error just grumbled and sat on the couch. I walked off and went to do more work.
~Time Skip~
I was working and drinking coffee as I normally did. I suddenly got another, very small, source of negativity, then it was gone. 'Huh. They don't usually come and go that fast.' I thought. I wanted to check it out. I stood up. 'Oh wait! Horror.' I needed to tell him here I was going. Or Error could watch him? He was only...actually I don't know how old he is. I need to ask him later. I got up and walked down to the couch where Error was watching shows on his phone.

"Error?" I asked. He turned to me, annoyed. "Could you watch Horror for me?" Error gave me a look of 'What the hell did you just ask me?'
"What? No! I am not going near that thing you brought here!" Error said to me.
"I won't be gone long. You don't have to touch him. Just make sure he doesn't die." I saw Error smirk. "And shenanigans." He glared again.
"Fine. I am not helping him if gets hurt though." Error said.
"Okay." I said. At least he'd watch him if he woke up while I was gone.
I tried to remember which au was the one with that weird negativity source. Oh right,
I arrived outside the Snowdin, just like last time. I couldn't feel any presence of anyone but on person. And that one person wasn't having any negative or positive emotions. I couldn't tell where they were because their emotions, or lack of emotions, resulted in a weird signal. I walked through the abandoned Snowdin. It was always weird seeing abandoned places.
I wandered for hours. Trying to find the monster. As I was about to give up and blame it on my imagination, a squeaky battle cry stopped me. A knife hit me in the shin/calf bone(?). I turned and saw more coming. I quickly blocked them using my tentacles. I yanked the one out of my uninjured leg. I looked around for the attacker. I saw a little head poking around a building, they quickly ducked back behind the abandoned building. 'There you are.' I thought. I teleported in front of them by guessing where they were. They squeaked and jumped back. They summoned another knife and chucked it at me. I knocked it away with a tentacle. I also picked up the little skeleton with another tentacle. He giggled as I did that. He had what looked like oil dripping from his eyes. He had a small eyesight in one of his eyes. It was tiny. His soul was also outside of his body as a target floating in front of his chest.
"Why are you so giggly? You're alone." I said, icily. "Did you kill them all?" I decided to ask.

"Mhm!" He said, still smiling. "I made a deal with Chara!" He announced proudly.
"Hmm. You seem to be a little fighter. Would you-" I got cut off by my phone buzzing. I pulled it out and saw Error calling me. I answered. "What do you want now?!" I shouted into the phone.
"Uhm...your kid burnt his hand. And now he's screeching and won't stop." Error reported through a glitchy voice. I could hear Horror crying through the phone.
I sighed. "I'll come back." I said. I dropped the kid from my tentacle. "Wait right here." I ordered. The kid saluted and sat down in the snow. "What's your name?"
"Killer." He replied, still smiling.
I teleported back home. I heard Horror crying from the entrance to my castle. I ran over there and saw him on the ground with Error in the air, sitting on his strings. I ran over to Horror. He looked at me.
"My-my hand hurts!" He yelled.
I scooped him up and brought him to the sink. I turned on the cold water and placed his hand underneath. He cried into my chest. I sent one of my tentacles out to go and grab some bandages from my bathroom. When the tentacle got them and brought them back, I pulled Horror's hand out and slowly wrapped it in the bandages. He had calmed down a lot by this point.
"You okay, Horror?" I asked. I rubbed his skull with my free hand. He nodded into my chest. Still sniffling. "You are a terrible babysitter." I said to Error.
"I never said I was good at it." Error replied. I rolled my eyes.
I looked down to Horror. "How would you like to have another kid around?" I asked him. He looked up at me.
"What do you mean?" He asked
"I found another kid I might bring home." I explained. Horror brightened up, forgetting about his burn. He laughed and hugged me. "You've got to stay here a big longer. Don't let Error near you." I whispered. I turned off the stove using one of my tentacles. I just needed to get Killer now. And not have him murder Horror.
Killer POV:
I was bored. I was getting cold. I couldn't move though. He told me to stay here so I couldn't move. A flash of teal appeared in front of me and he was back.
"Hello Sir!" I said happily.
"Did you seriously or move? I'm impressed."
He picked me up. I hugged into his neck. He chuckled. He teleported us again with another flash of teal. I saw a big open space near me. (Error had left by now)
"Ooo!" I said.
"Now, rules." He said. "I'm Nightmare, the ruler of this castle. One, you can't murder Horror. Two, I am now your guardian. Three, I will give you more things to murder soon. Four, no touching Error...when he's here. Okay?"
"Okay!" I eagerly agreed. If I got more things to kill, I can hold back on killing one other monster.
"Nightmare!" A skeleton with a cracked skull came running over, holding an axe. Cool!
"This is Horror." Nightmare said, placing me beside him. "Horror, this is Killer." I looked at the other skeleton. We appeared to be the same age. I looked at him.
"Friends?" Horror offered.
'A real friend?' I thought happily. "Sure." I said.
"That's good." Nightmare said.
"Let's show him his room!" Horror said excitedly, tugging Nightmare's arm.
"Okay, okay." Nightmare agreed "Let's go."

Path of Boundless Adventure
When Mana flooded back to Earth after billions of years, most felt lost in the new world. Some managed to adapt. For Michael, he felt like he'd finally found his path. Follow him as he fights monsters, explores new lands and most of all, seeks adventure. This is my first novel, never written anything before, so please be kind and patient with me, I'm doing my best. A more light-hearted post-apocalyptic novel with large amounts of game elements. MC has a unique advantage but is not massively overpowered and there's more of a focus on exploring and discovering new things rather than defeating a series of arch-nemesis' or building an empire. Rise of an Undead in a Fantasy World
Have you ever wondered what would happen if an undead being that doesn't know what it is like to be alive got free will? What would that undead creature do? How would they think? How would they view the world around them? Would they see life as futile and conquer the world, making it a lifeless danger zone to all living beings? Well, none of that matters, because that's not happening. Our main character is your average gamer from the modern world, yada yada yada... gets transported to a fantasy world through obscure means, blah blah blah... you know how this works. What separates him from the masses, however, are his views on ethics, and world politics. ... Oh, and the fact that he doesn't need to breathe. Message From Author! Accept?: Yes No This is only my second novel, so keep that in mind. I will try to keep the quality of the story to an acceptable level. This means something that I, myself would read. The quantity, however, may put some people off. Adding onto the whole "villainous lead" thing, I will make sure to have the character develop into that perfect little villain over time, instead of starting him out as a bloodthirsty murder-hobo. Of course, there will still be a lot of murdering and he may be a hobo for some of it, but it will mostly not be out of malice in the very early chapters. Last but not least, I have decided there will not be a defined release schedule for this, as I have lost interest in forcing myself to upload x amount of times a week. I will upload whenever I get a good idea, and take my time. That is, if I even feel like writing in the first place. Instead of taking breaks from this novel to do my own thing, I will take breaks from my daily life to post on here. Also, I'm lazy. Thanks for reading, and if you're alright with everything above, feel free to give it a read, and without further ado, have a good one! - Your Author P.S.: I will have little to no romance in the story, as I can't bring myself to writing it, so you don't have to worry about harems.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.
