Everyone in the yerm can drive, except for me of course. So for lunch I had to choose who to ride with, it seems like everyone already knew who they was riding with.

Vin was obviously riding in Eli's car along with Ray and Will. Don and Pq was riding in Gelo's car.

Which leaves me with Melo and I alone, I know they asses did this on purpose. They trying to set Melo and I up.

We all couldn't agree on where to eat so we decided to just go to the mall food court. The food court has different places we all can just pick and choose from, so it was just easier to go there.

I hop inside Melo's car, the beginning of the car ride it was silent. It wasn't an awkward silent, It was a comfortable one. I reached over to the radio to find Aux so i can put Melo on to some of my music.

He wasn't playing anything in his car.

He usually be blasting his music, not caring who hears shit. So why wasn't he playing any music now?

The car stops at a red light, I took the chance to sneak a glance over at Melo. I see he's already sneaking a glance over at me, I just caught him staring at me.

We got caught up in the moment, stared into each others eyes til the car behind us honked to tell us the light is now green. I can feel my face getting hot, I was most def blushing right now.

I look on Melo's face seeing it was red as well. I forgot I was about to play some music, I scroll through my playlist, and started playing Binz by Solange.

I look over our the window and see Ray in Eli's car with his head out waving at me with a goofy look on his face which made me laugh.

"What you laughing at Scarface?" Melo asks me.

I looked away from the window to Melo's face with a huge smile.

"Nun. Ray just being a damn fool like always." I respond.

"I swear I sometimes think that nigga on drugs or sum."

Melo and I pulled into the Mall lot right next to Eli's car.

"I see they beat us here." Melo says as he got out.

I was about to open the car door to exit the vehicle but Melo beats me to it and opens the door for me.

I thanked him and hopped out the car. Eli, Vin, and Ray was out of the car already. The rest yerm wasn't here yet, I don't know what was taking them so long.

"Damn, whats taking Gelo so long?" Ray complains.

"Damn Bro deadass going through it today. Jaden been moody to him all day cause she on her period and shit, Nasty bloody ass. I bet Jaden made him stop at a damn store or sum." Melo answers Ray.

I started cracking up, Melo was funny as fuck.

"Did you just call her nasty and bloody nigga?" I asked him.

"I sho did."

Minutes later, Gelo's car finally shows up and we all began heading towards the food court area.

I only been in this mall once and that's when I was school shopping with my mom.

And that's when I saw Melo for the second time after meeting him at the basketball court 2 days before. I felt an around wrap around my shoulder, It was just Vin.

"So.... you and my cuzzo huh?" Vin smirks.

I playfully roll my eyes at her and laughed.

"I see what you and the yerm tried to do." I commented

"What ever do you mean?" Vin fake gasps.

I just playful glare at her, she ain't slick.

she begins to walk back over to Eli while giving me a wink in the process.

I look over where Melo was at, He was standing in line with Gelo at panda express. I decided I wanted that to and walked over right next to them in line.

The stopped in their middle convo and greeted me.

"Ayo Scar, We was just talking about you. Wasn't we Melo?" Gelo looks over at Melo.

Melo was glaring at his brother, his face was red.

"Oh word? about what exactly?" I ask them both.

"It was just nothing, Gelo just being an asshole." Melo responds to me.

I just shrug my shoulders, I didnt wanna keep bothering him about it. If he wanted me to know, he would just tell me.

We didn't say anything after that, we just stand in line waiting for our turn to order.
