"Damn nigga, you cheated on my momma you did Melo!"
I looked at Eli like he was the dumbest nigga in the world, I never cheat. Ever. I'm just that good.
"I didn't cheat, shut the fuck up. sore loser ass nigga." I said while bouncing the ball.
Everyone started to talk amongst themselves, til we all heard a loud ass laugh that we didn't recognize. I turn my head to the sound and see a girl I don't recognize.
Gelo hogs up to me and hit my shoulder.
"Bro, do you know who that is?" he asks me.
I didn't take my eyes away from her, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. I was too far away from to see what her features look like. I need to get close to her. I chuck the ball to the side and walk towards the gate. I stand right in front of her, the only thing that's keeping us apart of the gate.
I looked her up and down to take all her features in. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. She was breathtaking. Her outfit was dope as hell too, a girl that can dress? that's my type.
"Damn shawty who is you?" I asked her.
She doesn't say anything, she just looks at me. Like she's trying to figure out who I am.. Who doesn't know who I am? not to sound cocky or nun but cmon now.... I finally break the silences between us.
"Oh? So you don't speak huh?"
She laughs to her and shakes her head. Her laugh was beautiful. I started to notice her little movements she does, she started to bite her finger nails as she looks at her feet. She looks up at me and says...

"You don't need to know that information.."
My hands start gripping the gate, she was shorter than me so I was looking down at her. I take her in once more and lick my lips.
"Damn Ma, I like them feisty."
I laid in my bed looking up at the ceiling thinking about Melo. He's so cute. His smile and his brown eyes. Damn. A knock at my bedroom door interrupted my thoughts.
"Wassup?" I yelled out.
"can I come in?" my mom asks from the other side of the door.
I told her that it was open and that she can obviously come in. I sit up and lean my back against my room wall. My mother was in and sits on the bottom of my bed.
"So how was exploring Chino Hills? How far did you go? Did you see any cute boys?" She kept rambling on and on.
"Okay, Okay Ma. It was cool, I ended up at a park with a basketball court. But I didn't meet any boys."
I'm lying through my teeth right now. I don't want my mom about meeting Melo, she would make it to a whole huge as deal. I literally just met the kid, which reminds me... I didn't give him my fucking name, am i gonna see him again? should I follow him on social media platforms? Fuck, i'm over thinking for no reason.
My mom stayed in my room and talked for awhile. I asked about how she's feeling about the move and having a new job that pays well. I know my mom was really sad over my father death, shit I was too. I was a mess. WE were a mess. We thought we couldn't survive without him. But things gotten better, we cried together, and we mourned. We still miss him everyday, but he would want us to be happy and move on with our lives til we meet again.

My mom kisses my forehead and told me goodnight. She starts walking towards my door to leave til my words stopped her for a sec.
"Mom? I'm glad we moved." that's all I said.
"Me too baby, me too."

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
