"So how's this school year been so far? I remember my freshman year. It's was really really fun! I meet a lot of new people." Isabella said.
"My freshman year was really hard tho. Has yours been hard? I think you should join some clubs it's helps you find friends ya know?"
I just started at her as she kept rambling on and on and on. She's been talking for 10 minutes straight.
"You like basketball right? I watch it with Gelo but I don't understand any of it. You just dribble run and shoot. Looks pretty easy but then again I can't shoot or anything so yeah." She just keeps going and going.
I'm at the Ball house with Metri like every other day after school. We do our homework, then we go outside chill in the house or do something then I go home. That's everyday.
But today Lonzo and Gelos girlfriends are here. I guess after we finish doing our homework then we're probably going somewhere.
Our first soccer game of the competitive season is on Saturday and basically the whole boys basketball team is coming. I'm never nervous but this time I am.
"Hey! Are you even listening anymore? I was saying that -" I cut her off.
"Hey Isabella I gotta finish all of this homework." I said holding up a sheet of paper. "It's just so much is gonna take a while."
"I can help you ya know." She said trying to look at my paper.
"Oh no . I'm okay I gotta figure this out myself." I said with fake sadness.
"Okay well I'll talk to you later?"
"Probably not."
She looked confused for a minute but then she started smiling again "Gelo!"
"That girl talk way to much." Metri said shaking her head.
"Ainna. Half the time I ain't even know what she was talking about."

She walks into the kitchen with Melo and Eli. They were on there phones.
"Isabella shut yo ass up." I hear Melo say after about 10 minutes. "You talk so damn much."
Me and Metri burst out laughing. I was laughing so hard my stomach was hurting and and I was crying.
"Kay tell me why Isabella thinks I like her?" Melo asked me.
He looks so adorable. He had on a BBB hat and a red jacket with black sweats.
"I don't know. What she was talking bout?" I asked trying to hold in my laughter.
"Yo she was saying something about a new purse and some sunglasses and Vera Bradley." Melo said shaking his head. "I don't even know what Vera Bradley is!"
I couldn't hold it in anymore. I started laughing even harder I knew my face was red.
"This isn't funny." Melo said chuckling.
"We heard you yelling at her." Metri said sobering up.
"Man she was was trippin." Melo said pulling me up.
"Give me a kiss." I said.
"Come get one." He said tilting his head down but not bending down. I go as high as I can on my tippy toes but even then my head his at the top of his chest.
"Melo. I'm to short." I whine. Him being 6'4 and me being 5'0 we have to meet half way.
"You want a kiss you gotta work for it." Melo said pulling me close.
"Okay I see how it is ....boyfriend." I said walking away just to be pulled back.
"Crybaby." Melo said kissing me. I love kissing him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and LaMelo puts his hands in my back pockets.
"There are people in here!" Lonzo yelled.
We break apart slowly. "Get over yourself Zo. You and Denise do much worse."

"Yeah you right." Lonzo said sitting in front of the T.V "what's the move tonight?"
"We should go see a movie." I said.
"Yeah this new horror movie came out." Gelo said looking at his phone. It was blowing up too.
"Who you texting?" Isabella said.
"My ... mom?" He replied unsurely.
"Oh okay." Isabella said. I'm only a freshman, never had a boyfriend and I know when someone's being unfaithful.
"Y'all wanna go to the movies at like 9?" Melo asked everyone checking the times.
"Yeah. That's good. It's five right now." Denise answered. "Hey kaylee I gotta question."
I was laying on the couch with my head facing her. "Was good?"
"There's a soccer camp at my school. They are inviting 20 boys and 20 girls." Denise explained making me turn around to face her. " I gave them some highlights of yours you should be getting a call in a few days."
"You for real?" I said.
"Yes." She said. "They said they liked your skill."
"Who wouldn't?" I said laughing.
"Cocky much?" Gelo said.
"More like confident."
"I gotta go change." Metri said grabbing her keys.
"Well be back before 8." Metri said.
We rode back to her house.
"What you wearing?" Metri asked me. We usually wear the same style of clothes not on purpose but we both walk outta the house and we'll be wearing the same color shirt. Or the same series of Jordans.
"I'm wearing something comfortable tonight. Since we only walking around the outlets and going to the movies."
"Aight. Well then imma wear this." She said pulling out black joggers and a white true OG shirt. She grabbed her true blue and white 3s and we went to my house.
Once we got to my house I went to the kitchen.
"Ma!" I yelled In the empty house. "You home?!"
Silence is my answer.
"Look she left a note." Metri said.
"She really thinks buying me shoes is gonna make up for her not being here." I said looking looking at the shoes she bought me. "They cold though."
She got me the Nylon 12s.
"I'm sorry kid." Metri said giving me a hug. "At least you got a pair of new shoes."
"Such a optimist." I said laughing.
My mom is a well know lawyer so she goes all around the states helping people not get locked up. Thats why we have a big as house for people that are never home.
My dad he's a doctor and has his own practice and he's never home either and last my brother jordan goes to college on Kentucky so I only see him 3 times a year.
I go upstairs and change into white joggers with a black jordan sign. I put my black cropped soccer hoodie and my new nylon 12s.
"Comfortably cute." I said looked at myself and putting my hair in a pony on the top of my head letting the curls fall over my forehead.
I put on my lipgloss since my eyebrows are already done.
"Let's go." I said plainly. I hate that my parents are never home.
Out of the four weeks in a month i see my parents only two weeks out of the month and that's ever month. When they are home they are in there joint office.
We get in the car and go to the ball house.
"Isabella what are you even talking about dude?" That was the first thing me and Metri heard when we walked into the house making us laughing.

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01
