Fred froze as he saw Harry slip past the crowd. His face down and his head hunched between his shoulders. Back arched as he leaned forward to make himself smaller. His petit body easily dodging everyone.
Fred looked at his twin for a minute, George talking to Lee about something. He had honestly been staring at Harry too longingly to notice. Slowly, he snuck away. Turning into a sprint as he saw that George and Lee were talking to enthusiastically to care much.
Harry was fast, Fred quickly realized.
His wirey arms stuck to his sides, green eyes frantically searching the crowd. Crashing into a wall, Fred groaned. "Wait up!" He finally shouted, causing Harry to freeze mid step.
Fred panted and jogged over, the crowd of students having thinned dramatically. The castle shifting, the area the two boys in cool and near chilly.
"H-Hi." Harry stammered, looking down. Something was off.
"Harry, what's wrong?"
Harry grimaced. "How bad is detention?" He blurted out, moving his back to the wall. Hands folded to his front.
Fred chuckled lightly. "Who do you have? What times?"
Harry frowned, his question remaining unanswered. Nevertheless, he answered Fred; "Tonight, 5-8." Fred smiled widely. "It'll be fun. Trust me." He spoke calmly.
Harry shook his head. "She's gonna kill me." Fred snorted at this. "Not while I'm there, Harrykins." Harry groaned at the nickname. Then sent Fred a strange look.
"You'll be there?"
Fred nodded. "I know every hallway to take so we can make it so our detention is... adventurous."
Harry bit his lip, fighting a smile.
"Okay?" Fred asked.
"Okay."
The Weasley gang stopped for a moment. Molly hushing the group as she heard a step on the staircase creak.
"Harry? That you?" Hermione called out, earning more steps in response. Harry walked in the room. His hands were shaking, and his eyes were puffy.

"Uh, sorry?" He stated questionably. Tear stains glistening on his cheeks. Molly came over to him, George standing up to do the same.
"Nonesense, we all get emotional sometimes." She dismisses Harry's apology. George parting Harry's shoulder with his hand firmly.
"I've been telling them about Fred... do you want to continue?" George's question startled Harry. His hands shook more violently. His face redeeming as he tried to hold back tears.
"You don't have to mate, just a suggestion." Ron butted in, trying to break the tense silence.
"I'll do it. I might have to stop at places, but I'll do it... where are we?"
George smirked and took Harry to sit with him. Ginny sent Harry a venomous glare. Her lips preached so tightly her jaw trembled.
"First detention. Start from there."
Harry took a deep breath.
"We were in detention..."

Outer Sect Disciple
Gongsun Xianyuan, eleven years old, was a genius... or he should have been. Unfortunately when the Cultivator of the Wudang sect came to the village he found out that he had a rare condition that prevented him to cultivate in the arts of the sect. He didn't give up right away but in the end he had to resign himself to the truth. At first he despaired but he soon choose to let his dreams go and begin a new life. This is the tale of an untalented cultivator who had given up in his dreams of glory to live a normal life. How will his future unfold? ------------------------- My native language is neither English nor Chinese, I am writing a Xianxia novel because I like the genre. I have tried to maintain the chinese names and the form of address but I used the measurements of the international system(meters, grams, etc..) and the hour time(no incense stick, or others). It may spoil it for some but I think it would be easier both for me and the readers. Before you read keep in mind that this is a novel with a slow progress. I don't want to give any spoiler but at least a few chapters will be dedicated to his life in the village.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
