《My mother married a Capo》Chapter 7

Alison groaned as her alarm went off. Her arm shot out from under her blanket to shut the dreading sound. It was the first day of her new school and was stressing as ever. She ditched herself from her comfortable bed and after going to the bathroom and doing morning routines, she went for her morning jogging in the hope to suppress her stress.

School was always bad but starting a new school at almost the end of the school year was frightening, especially the school for ridiculously rich and spoiled high-school teenagers.

She thankfully didn't meet anyone as she walked into her room and took a warm shower. She then walked into her closet and searched for what to wear. She finally decided to put on a white top with a thin button-up maroon woolen cardigan on top of it with black jeans.

She blow-dried her hair and left them open and then applied her lip gloss. After checking herself in the mirror one last time, she grabbed her school bag and walked out of her room and toward the dining room. Her parents were in there with the little twins. James was sleepily playing with his pancakes and Jordan was sleeping with his head on the table.

"Good morning." said Alison as she sat on the table.

"Good morning, my dear." said Eva as she put a plate of pancakes in front of her. "How do you feel?"

"Like someone who is starting a new school at the end of the year." huffed Alison as she stabbed her pancake.

Eva chuckled. "Everything is going to be fine." she reassured.

Just then Hunter walked in while dragging his bag behind him on the floor. He was a sleeping mess. His hair was messier than ever. He was in blue jeans and a black long sleeve blouse with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

He plumped himself on the chair next to Alison and put his head on the table like Jordan. "Good morning to you too, son." said Albert with raised eyebrows.

"I hate school." said Hunter, his voice muffled a bit. Alison chuckled while patting his back sympathetically.

A few seconds later Damien and Xander walked in. Alison had not seen too much of them in the past two days. Hunter had told her something about them helping with the family business. They looked so handsome in their black t-shirts and black jeans. Their arms were full of the same tattoos and their dark hair was slicked back neatly.

They greeted lowly as they sat and stuffed their plates with food.

"Alison!" called Albert and gathered her attention. "You will drive with the boys to school. I wish you good luck on your first day."

"Thank you!" said Alison lowly. Now her morning was great. The new school was bad enough but when paired with driving with the older twins it became worse. At least Hunter was coming with them.

Albert stood up and lift sleeping Jordan in his arms. He may look to be in his late forties but he was still strong. "Eva! Time to go." he said and then walked out of the room. Eva stood and smiled at all of them. "Goodbye, guys. wish you all a great day." she said kindly and then grabbed James' hand and guided his sleepy form out.

"We are leaving too," said Xander as he pushed his chair back and stood, completely ignoring Alison. "Hunter, get up."

Damien stood silently and walked out after his twin while Alison grabbed Hunter's arm and took him out of the dining room while feeding him with a pancake. He had slept through the breakfast.

Once outside she saw Damien and Xander sitting already in a sleek black Mercedes. She mustered enough Carouge and walked to the car behind Hunter. As soon as she sat in and closed the door, Xander pulled into the road towards the gates.

Soon they were out of the property and were heading toward the school. Alison noted to praise Logan for his driving. She had always scolded him for driving at high speed. Xander was driving like a mad man. He had crossed so many speed limits but it seemed natural for the other two in the car. Damien was staring out of the window and Hunter was sleeping with his head leaned on the window and his mouth wide open. Alison had grabbed the door handle and had closed her eyes tightly.

Suddenly, when they had reached more residential areas, Xander pulled over and stopped the car abruptly. Alison opened her eyes, looking outside hoping to see the school building but she saw none. She turned to Xander with raised eyebrows and saw him already looking at her with an angry face. Damien was looking at him with a frown on his face and Hunter who had rudely woken by the sudden brake was looking around in a daze.

"Get out!" growled Xander with so much hatred laced with his words.

"What?" whispered Alison surprised.

"Xander! What the hell." said Damien shocked. "You are going too far."

"What the hell is going on?" asked Hunter.

Xander stared deadly at Alison, ignoring the other two. "I said get out and don't you dare to tell anyone at school that you are related to us, you brat." he spat angrily.

Alison didn't hesitate to leave the car. She quickly opened the door and slammed it shut. She could hear Damien and Hunter shouting at Xander but soon he drove away at full speed.

Alison took a few deep breaths and closed her eyes while clenching and unclenching her fists, trying to control her rage. She was desperately in a need to punch someone. How dare he? What had she done to deserve his wrath? If he didn't like the wedding, she didn't like it as well but she wasn't acting like a crazy person.

When she was calm enough, she pulled out her phone and opened the map and found the school, and chose her route. Thankfully the school was only ten minutes walk and she wouldn't be so late.

When she reached the school the bell had just rang and thankfully she didn't encounter so many curious faces as she made her way to the principal's office.

The principal was a strict old man with white hair who after lecturing her for being late for good ten minutes, finally handed her her schedule and locker keys. She walked to the lockers with the help of the map she had been given and after putting her stuff in the lockers she walked towards her first class, History.

Just as she turned into a corridor she stopped in her tracks. A buff blond boy was pinned to the wall by a much buffer boy with brown hair who had his arm pressed to the blond's neck. Another boy was standing there with his hands in his pockets and was watching the scene in front of him. His back was to Alison, but she could see his strong muscles under his white shirt. He was at least 6'3 tall. His hair was black and he had a tattoo of a wolf on the back of his neck.

"I wish you understand what I told you, Carson." he spoke and his deep voice sent shivers down Alison's spine. His voice was calm, but you could feel threat and danger laced with it.

"Of course, West!" chocked the blond boy with a frightened look in his eyes.

The brown-haired boy who was clothed just like West pulled away his arm and released the Carson boy who fell on the ground and coughed hard. "Now, fuck off." he growled.

Carson didn't need to be told twice. He stood up and ran in the direction of Alison and at that moment, she understood what a crazy girl she was. She must have fled the moment she had seen the scene, but like an idiot, she had stood there, and now she was in trouble as the brown-haired boy looked her way and saw her. "Alex!" he warned and the black-haired boy, also known and Alex West, turned around.

Alison knew that she was screwed at that moment when her blue eyes met his coal-colored eyes which were ready to burn any moment. He was definitely handsome. There was no doubt. His high cheekbones and the stubbles that had covered his sharp jawline had given him a more mature and intimidating posture. His eyes bored into hers and she felt her knees went weak.

But she gulped and composed herself the moment she saw the brown-haired took a step toward her. But West stopped him with one hand without taking his eyes off of Alison. he narrowed his eyes at her. "You didn't see anything." he warned her with his husky deep voice.

Alison didn't know where that courage came from, maybe it was Ed's voice in her head. Never show weakness in front of your opponent. She held her head high and stared right back at him. "Don't be worry." she said with a confident tone. "I'm not a person to run to principal to report on stupid boys' fight in high school. I don't have that much of time."

She then looked away and walked past them towards her first class. Both boys turned and looked at her. The brown-haired with raised eyebrows and the black-haired with an unreadable expression on his emotionless face.

"Well she is certainly new." said the brown-haired still looking at Alison. "I have never seen her around and she is hella brave."

Alex watched Alison walking away. Her curly hair was bouncing behind her beautifully. He could still smell the floral scent of her hair the moment she passed him. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life. Her fearless behavior had added to her sexiness more. Any other girl would normally cry the moment he gave her his intimidating face or threw herself at him, but she had held her head up and had answered him back without a hint of intrest in her features. He was so fucking intrigued and he didn't even know her name. He clenched his fists and turned on his heels and walked towards his first class. "Come on, Simon. We still had this stupid class to attend," he said indifferently although his mind was focused on the intriguing brunette he had seen just a moment ago.

Alison stopped in front of her class. The nervousness of encountering so many new faces was pushing away the face of the handsome boy she had seen earlier. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door and then opened it and walked in.

She ignored the intense stares of the students and gave her charming smile to the teacher who was a woman. "Hello, I'm Alison Harris. I'm new." she said politely and gave the teacher the slip the principal had given her.

"Oh! It's odd to have a new student at this time of year." said the teacher as she scanned the small piece of paper. She then looked up and smiled. "But you are welcome nonetheless, Miss Harris. I'm Johnson, your history teacher. Please have a seat. We are going to watch a movie."

Alison walked to the back of the class and sat next to a blond girl with a few strands of pink in her hair who had circular glasses on. Next to her had sat a girl with short shaggy black hair clad in a short leather jacket and white tank top. She was watching the board uninterested while chewing her gum.

"Pisst!" Alison turned and saw the blond girl looking at her eagerly with her big green eyes, holding her hand out for her. "My name is Ayda and this grumpy girl next to me is Jess." she said as Alison shook her hand.

"Glad to meet you both." said Alison with a smile and just then the teacher turned off the lamps and turned on the projector much to Alison's relief. She needed some minutes alone to sort her thoughts. First the crazy Xander and then the handsome West and his captive eyes. She sighed as she tried to focus on the movie. She was seriously screwed.
