《Mindlessly Wandering (Shinso x Reader)》Chapter 12

The movie we were watching sounded interesting, but I couldn't focus on it. For whatever reason, my heart was pounding, and my face was warm.
It got worse everytime Shinso got closer to me or just did anything in general.
I tried to eat some popcorn in order to take my mind off of it...however, Shinso also reached for the popcorn ending up in his hand brushing against mine.
I pulled away swiftly and muttered an apology. The pounding in my chest didn't go away as the movie continued.
Shinso just chuckled quietly and leaned back into the corner of the sofa. I looked over to see if Aizawa was watching. . .but he was knocked out. He was sleeping.
I tried to focus on what was happening on the tv, there was a strange looking man with only legs and no upper body dancing on the grass.
Confusion filled my brain as I had no idea what was going on in the movie, and the two elf looking boys joined in on dancing with the half bodied-man.
Which only caused more confusion.
"Enjoying the movie?" Shinso suddenly whispered into my ear, causing me to gasp.
I turned to face him, my face feeling warm as my (e/c) eyes met his lavender ones.
"Sorry, I don't want to wake Aizawa up." He said scratching his cheek.
"I-it's fine..." I stuttered out quietly.
"The movie? Orrr...?" Shinso asked.
"Orrr....what?"
Shinso just smiled and brushed his hand through his lavender hair.
"Nothing, don't worry about it."
We both silently went back to watching the movie. The character named Ian had charm, and I really liked the growth he has with his brother, Barley. It was sweet.
. . .
The movie was coming to a close and I was enjoying myself up until the point Ian risked everything and didn't even get to meet his dad.
I felt myself tear up as Barely hugged his dad one more time. I then felt Shinso place his hand on my shoulder.
"You're really emotional when it comes to movies, huh?" He teased.
"Why aren't you crying?" I sniffeled.

"Because I've seen this movie, and I'm a man. I don't cry." He smiled.
After the movie was done, Shinso stood up and stretched.
"Well, did you like it?" He asked.
I nodded my head and stood up as well. Aizawa was still sleeping peacefully with his arms folded.
There was silence for a moment before Shinso started speaking.
"Wanna try something crazy?" He asked.
I looked at him with a confused feeling. It didn't show on my face, but I definitely felt it.
"What do you have in mind?" I asked as my hair fell in front of my face.
"C'mon." He said and grabbed me by the hand, pulling me to my room.
Shinso let go of my hand and opened the curtains to to balcony. Revealing the string winds and loud rain.
"Let's go outside!" He said excitedly.
"What? Why? Isn't it dangerous?" I asked backing away.
"Not if we're careful about it, plus...it looks exciting, doesn't it?" He said gesturing to the storm that was picking up pace.
"I...I don't know..." I turned my gace down to my feet.
Another pair of feet came into my vision, and when I looked up, there were soft purple eyes.
"It'll be fun, I promise." Shinso said with a reassuring smile and held his hand out.
Hesitantly, I placed my hand in his and we made our way to the door.
He slid it open and I could feel the wind bursting through already. Slowly, he took me outside.
It was loud, and the wind blew my hair in every direction. The rain pounded harshly on my body.
What about this is "fun"?
"(Y/n)! Open your eyes!" Shinso yelled over the wind. His hand grasping firmly onto mine.
I peeked my eyes open, and at first it was hard to see because of the rain...but once the wind calmed down a little bit I was able to see.
The sky was dark, and things flew around in the air with the wind being so strong.
"Get ready for it," Shinso said as he held my hand tightly. I looked towards where he was looking, and I saw that there was a huge gust of wind coming towards us because of the trees.

"Here it comes!" He said excitedly. I myself braced for impact, I thought I was going to be carried away from the wind.
"Put your hands up!" Shinso encouraged and lifted his and my one arm up high just as the wind reached us.
My body against the wind, and the feeling of the rain hitting my skin. It was a different feeling from a little hit ago.
No...this felt...this felt fun. It was exciting. I felt a sputter of something ignite within me as the wind rushed through my hair.
It was powerful, and it made me feel powerful. I heard Shinso laughing right next to me, can I do that too? Is that really okay?
Shinso let out a couple of shouts to try and fight the wind back. Never letting go of my hand.
Blood rushed to my face at the realization, and with the excitement my heart started pounding.
"I told you it was cool!" Shinso flashed me a big smile, it was contagious and I felt that I was going to smile too.
The wind began to die down, meaning the burst was over, and with it, the excitement and urge to smile was gone too.
Shinso pulled me back inside and we sat on the floor.
"Darn...I thought I almost got you to smile there." He said with a sad smile.
Feeling bad, I forced my lips to tilt upward. The foreign feeling making me feel awkward because I don't know how to feel happy.
Shinso gave me a small smile and ruffled my wet hair.
"Thank you, but that's not the type of smile I was shooting for."
My shoulders tensed and I looked down.
"Sorry..." I said.
"No need to apologise, really. I had fun and I hope you did too."
"It was kind of fu-" I was interrupted by a sneeze that left my body.
"Haha, bless you-" Shinso also let out a sneeze and we both started shivering.
"Ahh shoot, did we both end up getting cold from that?" Shinso asked.
I just shrugged my shoulders.
"From what? I hope you didn't take (y/n) outside and get her sick." Aizawa said very sarcastically.
"M-Mr. Aizawa...! Heeyy...we definitely did not go outside because..well..that would be dangerous...I'm sorry." Shinso quickly apologised.
Aizawa let out a long sigh and handed both of us towels and clean clothes.
"It's fine, just go and dry up." He said.
"Y-yes sir." Shinso said while shivering.
. . .
My body felt very cold until I changed and Aizawa laid me down in my bed.
"W-where's Shinso?" I asked.
"He's in my room. No, he may not stay in here because you both are sick and need to rest. I told him the same thing." Aizawa said as he turned off my light but left my lamps on.
I felt a little sad that I was going to be cooped up alone in my room, but understood.
"I'll leave your door open, just call me if you need anything...okay?" He said. I just nodded my head and he left my room.
I stared at the ceiling for a while until my eyes started feeling heavy. Another sneeze escaped my body, so I reached over for a tissue.
When I couldn't find one, someone handed me one.
"Here you go."
I took the tissue and thanked them, I looked over to see who handed me the tissue and saw,
"Shinso? But...you're supposed to be in-"
"I know, but I didn't want you to feel lonely. Now scoot over, I'm cold." He said and I complied.
Shinso snuggled into my sheets.
"Ahh soo warm..." He hummed. When he opened his eyes, he noticed how close he was to me. His face got darker.
"Sorry.." He said as he scooted away.
"It's okay..."
Even though he was embarrassed, he was able to entertain me and keep a conversation going with me until we both fell asleep.
I was really starting to like being around him...

Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.
