《Game on》Chapter Eight

"Y/N." I heard my name being called out and when I turned around my heart sank and my eyes widened.
What was he doing here?
"Good afternoon welcome to the Bangtan cafe, would you like me to lead you to a table?" I asked in a professional manner after gaining my senses back from the shock.
The two of them just stared at me which made me really uncomfortable. I began rubbing my stomach out a nervousness. It was a habit that I developed since my belly began getting bigger.
My action did not go unnoticed by Jimin as I saw him immediately start shooting dagger with his eyes at my protruding belly.
"Um Y/N could you please spare us some of your time so we could talk to you?" Jin asked after seeing the looks that his friend was sending me.
"I am sorry but I can't. I am busy with work. So if you are not going to buy anything I do suggest that you leave." I said as politely as I could but after seeing Jimin my voice was filled with too much irritation.
I turned to walk away but I stopped when I was pulled back by my wrist.
"You are not going anywhere. We need to talk right now. So stop being a brat and come with us." Jimin spoke in a dark tone which sent shivers running down my spine.
"I said I have work to do. Just because you are a spoilt brat who gets money for free does not mean the rest of us do. I need this job and I will not let someone who is worth nothing in my life cause me to get fired. And as far as I know we did not have any relationship between us that needed for us to talk. So just leave me alone." I spat out before harshly pulling my wrist away from his grip and tried to walk away but was stopped again.

"Y/N what is going on here? Jimin what are you doing here?" My boss asked.
"Mom I just wanted to talk to her about something but she just gave me a hard time and started disturbing the customers." The brat explained.
I looked at him in disbelief almost forgetting that he called my boss mom.
"Mrs Park I-" I started but was immediately cut off by Jimin's friend.
"Auntie please don't listen to Jimin. He is talking nonsense. We were the ones who interrupted Y/N while she was working and created a disturbance infront of the customers. I am sorry." Jin explained trying to get me out of the trouble his friend had started.
Mrs Park looked at us suspiciously before sighing.
"The three of you follow me to my office." She said and began walking toward the direction of her office. I sighed before following.
All I wanted was a peaceful life with my baby but that seems like it is too much to ask for.
My nerves got the best of me as soon as the door of the office closed.
"What is going on among the three of you, Jimin?" Mrs Park asked her son while still giving us the suspicious glares.
"Nothing mom." He answered probably not wanting his mother to know about the baby because that's what I assumed he wanted to talk about.
"Don't tell me it's nothing. I saw how angry you were with Y/N earlier so you better tell me what's going on Park Jimin." She said in a firm tone but this time Jimin refused to say anything. Even Jin kept his mouth shut when Mrs Park looked at him.
"Y/N tell me what's going on since these two seem to have their lip sawn shut." She asked with her eyes now fully focused on me.

My hands began to sweat under her intense stare and I could feel myself begin to shake.
"Mrs Park like he said it's nothing. It's the first time he's seen me since I left school and he just wanted to know why I stopped going." I lied through my teeth which seemed to kind of convince her.
"Ok then I will let it slide. Just don't let it happen again. Jimin stop bothering the girl please. You may go." She said and we all rushed out of there.
I still could not believe how natural the lie came out of my mouth.
"Y/N can we please talk now?" Jimin now asked in a softer tone than before but I was still not going to talk to him.
"Did you not hear what your mother said. Stop bothering me. There is nothing for us to talk about. So just leave me alone." I said without looking at him and began walking away but stopped at his next words.
"Please let's just talk for five minutes. I know the baby is mine." He spoke in a plead.
"You are crazy if you think it's yours. This is my baby and you are not the father. If that's what you wanted to talk about then I have clearified it for you so please just stop bothering me from now on." I responded but he did not seem convinced.
"Y/N I know you are lying. I have the right to know about my own baby you cannot keep him away from me." He spoke in a harsher manner this time but it did not phase me one bit.
"Listen Jimin. This is not your baby. You have no rights over my child. I don't know where you got this ridiculous idea that you are the father but you are not. I did not just sleep with you. So now just leave me alone." I spat back before walking away without giving him the chance to say anything.
It pissed me off to know that she was keeping my child away from me.
"Well at least now we know that you are not the father. You can continue to enjoy your life without worries." Jin said cluelessly.
"She is lying." I responded before walking out of the cafe.
If she thought that she was going to keep me away from my own child then she was dead wrong. I would do anything and everything to be with him even if it meant taking him away from her.
