Its been a month since Mahiru losses his memories and its been a month since his life went back to normal.

But this past few days Mahiru seems to be busy.

"Kuro, Here's dinner." Mahiru said as he called his servamp and settle a plate on the table.

"Hm... I'll eat after this game." Kuro said his eyes focus on the T. V.

"Okay. Just don't forgot or your food will get cold. I'll be in my room if you need me." Mahiru said.

"Your not gonna eat?" Kuro said looking at his Eve who's walking towards his room.

"Nah~ I need to study you know." Mahiru said.

"Menduksei... Your been studying this couple of days. Enough for you to skip meals. " Kuro said, but he thought the last part.

"I need too, the exam is near so don't disturb me kay?" Mahiru said and went to his room and shut the door.

Kuro sigh. "His really is a troublesome person. I sometimes wonder why did I fall for him..." Kuro said and continue his Game.

GAME OVER.

"Ah! I lost.... Menduksei..." Kuro said lazily and got up and went to eat his food.

It felt lonely like this, eating alone. Usually Kuro eats with Mahiru and he enjoys admiring his lover face as long as he likes while eating. Yet, this couple of days Mahiru is been like this. After he got home from school, he take a quick shower, clean the house, make dinner for Kuro and study without eating anything.

Well, Kuro can't blame Mahiru for skiping meals since Studying seems to be a pain. He saw how Ryusei and Sakuya struggled so thus with Koyuki and Mahiru. They seems to be working really hard for this exam and Kuro can help by not disturbing his Eve's studies.

But really, Its lonely like this.

He then realized something.

Since when did loneliness foreign to him?

He was used being lonely all this time before he met mahiru. As days, weeks, months, years, centuries past by he was living like a normal cat hiding on the very dark places. He was always in dark, lonely place.

Darkness.

Loneliness.

Sadness.

Thats all he knows before he met Mahiru.

But, Its almost a Year and half since he had spend time with his Eve. And it seems, eating alone like this, feeling lonely like this becomes foreign to him.

He finish his meal and decided to have a peak on his Eve's room. He saw how Mahiru is sitting on his desk and concentrate on studying.

Kuro sigh and decided to leave Mahiru alone.

"Hope he'll do well even if its too troublesome..." Kuro said and walk back to the living room and play his game.

"You really change you know. You even have guts to ignore me." His demon cat said back on his mind.

"Isn't it my Specialty?" Kuro said as he thought that his good at ignoring things and just be lazy.

"Hm... But recently your too open. You even have a normal conversation with one of your brother who hates you very well." The demon cat said.

Kuro thought about himself and lawless and how they talk like they don't have a bloody history with ea h other.

He was more open and willing to talk to others whats on his mind. Well, maybe thats what of the few things he learn from Mahiru.

Communication.

Its more easier if you just know how to communicate with each other. That way, it would clear the misunderstanding and it won't lead to a bloody war.

Mahiru is good at communicating and Kuro might be learning from Mahiru. Beside, its through communicating that he manage to be friends with Mahiru's friends too.

Ryusei and Koyuki treats him like he was an ordinary human. Simplest to say, they treat him like a friend, they treat him like how they would treat Mahiru.

And Sakuya is willing to treat him too. Even though, Kuro doesn't have a good history with Sakuya's master. The same Master who save Sakuya's lives. Yet, Sakuya is willing to try to be friend with him.

Kuro sigh.

He then think about Tsubaki.

"I wonder where he is? ~ his Subclasses are roaming freely... But his hiding and no one knows where~" His demon cat said.

Kuro thought about that too. Sakuya doesn't lie to mahiru, because he himself hates liers. But... Subclasses should have strong bond with the Servamp who turned them so its confusing as to why the subclasses themselves doesn't even know where their master is.

"How can you even know that? You don't have any subclasses so you don't what or how to feel~ right?" His demon cat said..

Well, thats true because he doesn't have one. Because for all this time he doesn't want to create any monster like his creator does.

Yes

Yes

Yes

You remember your creator right~?

You remember how he treat you well right~?

How he created you~?

Do you really think that you'll met your beloved eve in this current time you are in with out him?

Yet, your not thankful for the life gave you.

Instead you betray him and kill him instead.

Right

Monster

Creator.

Remember Sleepy Ash...

How did you kill him.

Kuro was surprised with that, Its been awhile since since this demon cat make him see his past.

His regrets

His mistake

His sin

His regrets.

The sole reason why he hated hisself

The sole reason he was trap in the dark.

But,

He felt slight pain

He felt slight guilty he did those things.

But why Slight?

Why this feeling isn't felt like its a torture anymore?

Why did it felt like he was numb seeing this scene over and over again?

Why did he felt like....

Like....

Like...

He was bored?

He was bored instead of feeling of running away?

Usually when he saw those scene he would run away, Beg to make it stop.

But today its different.

Infront of him, his seeing his past.

His mistake

His regrets

The same scene how he kill his creator.

But all he do is look at it with boredom eyes.

Why?

Kuro!

Someone called him

That voice.

Kuro!

Kuro!

"Kuro!"

Kuro snap out and saw honey colored eyes look at him in concerned. His two hands was on Kuro's cheek and kuro can feel how warm they are, how soft and warm. He saw that Mahiru's face was inches to him.

"Too closed!" Kuro thought.

So he blush and quickly back away.

Mahiru got more concerned and walk near Kuro.

"Are you okay? I've been calling you a couple of times already but you won't answer and now your face is red. Do you have a fever? Do vampires catch cold?" Mahiru said and held Kuro's forehead.

"Ah... Menduksei... No. Vampires don't catch cold." Kuro said and look away.

"I see, Then are you okay? I've been calling you many times but it seems your in a very deep thoughts." Mahiru said.

"Hm... Fine. Just wanted to sleep..." Kuro said.

"Okay~ I was going to sleep too thats why I check on you. You usually go to bed before me, so I got worried. Its already late at night too, look its alre 10 pm." Mahiru said.

"You study for 4hours... What a pain." Kuro said.

"Hm... ofcourse I need to do my best." Mahiru said and gave a smile.

Kuro was captivated with that smile and he somehow knows why was he bored seeing his past earlier.

Thats right, he had a very special Eve.

As long as Mahiru is beside him, as long as mahiru is there he isn't bothered by anything.

Because He already accepted what he did.

He already accepted his mistake.

And his eve helped him do that.

"Hm? Is something in my face?" Mahiru asked curiously.

"Kawaii...." Kuro mumbled.

"Huh!?" Mahiru said.

"Nothing, I'll just go and sleep." Kuro said and transform into a cat and quickly dash to Mahiru's room and in Mahiru's bed.

Ah~ The scent of his Eve really do sooth him.

"Ah! Wait Kuro!.... Mou... That stupid cat." Mahiru said and sigh. He stand up and went to his room only to find out that the black cat was curling like a ball on the edge of the bed, on top of the pillow.

He smile how cute the black cat is but he did remember that its not a normal Cat so.

" Mah... Its fine then. You could sleep here." Mahiru said and pat the black cat.

"Good night." Mahiru said and decided to settle in bed and sleep.

Kuro was happy, that Mahiru pet him but he was more happy that he had met Mahiru.

Thank you Mahiru... For everything... And kuro went to his unconscious state.
