"You know you do too much work." Kuro said as he keep his gaze on the T.V and play his games.
"Hah, I'm tired. Despite I just went to buy some stuff then went home, then I was the one who keep them away." Mahiru said as he sat down on the couch.
"You complain too much... Menduksei.." Kuro said
"Hah!? If you only helped me I'm not gonna be this tired you stupid neet!" Mahiru argue.
"Your too loud... Can't deal..." Kuro said.
Mahiru roll his eyes and sigh tiredly. He then lay on the couch with his Gaze fix on Kuro's back. He observe how Kuro's back is really stiff, he notice that his hair is the same color as the sky. It was nice, he wonder if they were soft just like his Fur.
But he remember something from earlier they met Mikuni.
Flashback
"Then what if you'll find out that 'that' cat of yours isn't what you really think he is?. Afterall, he did something horrible that his siblings hated him for that." Mikuni said.
Mahiru look at his cat, and he can tell that Kuro's expression change. He can't explain it but he knows Kuro felt sadness at that time.
" Hey Kuro. " Mahiru called
" hmm? " Kuro said still fix his gaze on the T. V.
"Well, ahm... Can I talk to you?" Mahiru said.
"Your already talking." Kuro said.
"Ahm.. Right, I'm sorry...." Mahiru said still hesitating to say.
"You know what just forget it." Mahiru said and turn around.
Kuro sigh and stop playing his game. He turn around and look at his Eve who's gaze is in the other way around.
Kuro went near the couch and lean his back on it.
"What is it?" He asked looking at the floor.
"Its nothing." Mahiru said still not looking his Servamp.
"Its not nothing. Your sulking." Kuro said and look at his eve lazily.
Mahiru turn around and this time looking at his eve. " I'm not sulking." Mahiru said.
"Then what are you about to say?" Kuro said.

Mahiru sigh and look at the floor. "Its just I'm wondering of what Mikuni-san meant earlier. About the fact that you did something bad, I can't seem to point out on what bad things you could have done in the past? Are they that bad? I know I shouldn't worried but... Ah... As I thought just forget it. " Mahiru said and gave a sincere smile.
Kuro look down at the floor like it was the most beautiful thing to see.
" The thing I did is really Bad, I kill someone That I shouldn't. " Kuro said.
" Why are you being honest? Aren't you afraid that he'll leave you when he'll found out of what a monsters your truly are~?" His demon cat said.
Kuro didn't want to say anything. He knows his afraid of Mahiru leaving him, of Mahiru would be scared of him. Mahiru was never afraid of him, most people when they would know your a vampire and well commit a sin like what Kuro did, they would be afraid, scared or run away.
But Mahiru, he approached Kuro instead and help Kuro confront his fears, his regrets, his mistake. So he doesn't want to lost this special person, but... He also doesn't want to lie from his eve. Afterall Mahiru isn't just an Eve isn't?
He is somehow Special for Kuro.
And kuro knows how he is special to Mahiru too.
"You kill someome?" Mahiru was surprised with that.
"Menduksei... I'm a vampire afterall..." Kuro said looking down.
Mahiru was surprised with that. He didn't think that this Lazy Neet Servamp of his could do something like that. But well, its true that he is a Vampire so its not a surprise to here that he did kill someone. Even humans do kill for various of Reason.
Reason
Yeah, Maybe Kuro Had a reason. Well thats what Mahiru thought.
"Maybe you had a reason to do so..." Mahiru said.
Kuro was surprised with that and look at his eve.
"How can you be this Calm knowing the person you live with killed someone?" Kuro said surprised how his Eve stay calm. Shouldn't he like run away? Afterall for Mahiru now hid nothing but a stranger right?

Mahiru just gave a soft smile. "Let me ask a question then, Did my past self know what exactly you did?" Mahiru said.
"Yeah...." Kuro said.
"Then what did I do?" Mahiru asked.
"What did you do?" Kuro said.
"Yeah, What did I do after I found out about what you did?... And Kuro pls answer me honestly." Mahiru said sincerly.
Kuro then look at his eve eyes, those eyes looking at him softly. Those beautiful honey colored eyes were looking at him with kindness. How can he lie to those eyes? Those gaze is like magic that put a cast on him so that he can't move and can't do anything but be captivated and admire its beauty.
"You... You approach me and help me accept my mistake. You... Help me face my fears and.... And... You didn't hate me but instead you.. Accept me.. " Kuro said but he was feeling really nervous with this since its the first time he is in a situation like this.
"Ah... Menduksei... Can't deal.." He said and look down again.
Mahiru softly chuckled. "Really? Thats great to hear. Then you have your answer to your question Earlier" Mahiru said and smile.
"huh?" Kuro said.
"Isn't like earlier you asked why am I able to stay calm knowing the person I'm living with is a potential killer right? Then there is your answer. I don't need to worry because I know you already accept your mistake and maybe prevent yourself from doing the same mistake again. And didn't you tell me that My past self accepted you as you were, then I'll do the same. It maybe a little different since I can't remember but I'm certain in one thing that your not just a Servamp to me. Your more than that right? " Mahiru said and smile.
"Yeah..." Kuro said.
Kuro knows that Mahiru never treated him like a servamp, he treated him like a normal human who just live in this apartment. No, Mahiru treated him like he was a friend.
A Friend.
Then they become lovers.
Servamps shouldn't treated like that. They should be treated as how they are made. To serve their Eves.
But Mahiru, he wasn't like that.
Instead he treat him like his a friend.
A bestfriend.
And maybe someday as boyfriend.
Kuro shook his head and look at his eve smile that is as captivating as ever.
"Thanks, For that." Kuro said and look away.
"Thank you too, For being honest and for never leaving me behind even though I can't remember." Mahiru said and unconsciously pat Kuro's hair ever so softly.
Kuro was surprise with that, but he felt flattered. He felt happy, not just Mahiru said those heart warming words but he was being pat, in human form which is he found so... So... Nice.
Mahiru's hand were warm and gentle.
"Ah... Sorry for Patting you all of the sudden." Mahiru said as he realize what he just did.
"Its okay. It felt nice." Kuro said and went closer to his eve. He then felt that his eve started to pat him again.
"Your hair really felt nice, its so soft just like your furr in your cat form." Mahiru said calmly.
Kuro was surprised with that but didn't say anything but to let hisself drown in an good sensation of those hands patting him.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
They didn't know how long they've been doing that, but Kuro notice the hand that is patting him stop. He look behind him and saw how his cute Eve sleeps peacefully.
Kuro observe his eve, and reach out to touch Mahiru's bangs ever so softly.
"Someone as sweet and kind like you...." Kuro said as he keep playing with his Eve's hair. He pick one strand and slid his finger ever so gently.
"... I Can never leave you, as long as you need me.... Mahiru...I love you. " Kuro said and lean forward and kiss his eve on the forehead.
He blush and widraw.
"Menduksei..." Kuro said and settle his arm on the edge of the couch and hide his face there.
