《The Island Princess (Edmund Pevensie x Reader)》16

We boarded the boats and rode to the ship. I walked to the back of the ship to get some air.
I suddenly felt a hand touch mine, I looked back and it was Edmund. I slowly pulled my hand away.
"Y/N, I'm sorry. I just got jealous." Edmund said as he positioned himself next to me.
"Edmund," I sighed and faced him, "Edmund you don't own me... at least not yet."
Edmund answered, "But you were the one who said-".
"I know, but what I meant when I said that was; you will always be the one I like, but that doesn't mean you go around, non-verbally claiming me.".
Edmund sighed, "I'm sorry.".
I looked at him. I saw how genuine he was. I held his hand and gave him a smile.
Peter and Oliver then approached us.
"Who would like to show Oliver around?" Peter asked.
Oliver looked at me and smiled.
I looked at Edmund, who was looking at Oliver, and he was not happy.
"Y/N, why don't you? You two have already met." Peter suggested.
"Uh... okay." I said hesitantly.
"I'll do it." Edmund said. He looked at me, as if to say sorry but he couldn't help it.
Though this time, I found it Charming and sweet. I smiled at him to show it that it was okay.
"You two sort it out." Peter said, "I need to go help Caspian.". He then walked away.
As soon as Peter was out of our circle, Oliver looked at me, put his arm over my shoulder. "Let's go!".
I removed his arm from my shoulders, twisted it, and pulled it towards me. "Stop. Doing. That." I told him.
Edmund chuckled.
"Ow- alright-alright! I'm sorry." Oliver said and pulled his arm from my grasp. "We can get started now.".
"No. I can show you around the ship." Edmund said, getting impatient.
"No. Y/N can do it." Oliver said.
"Why do you need her to show you around when I can do it instead?" asked Edmund, getting even more impatient.

"Because I'd be more comfortable if I was with someone I already met." Oliver answered.
" already met." Edmund exclaimed.
"I don't remember." Oliver commented.
Edmund groaned. "I'm Edmund Pevensie. Nice to meet you... For the second time." he said as he rolled his eyes.
I was just behind both of them as they argued. Waiting for them to finish, if I was going to be the one to show Oliver around, or not.
I yawned out of boredom, "Have you guys made up your mind yet?"
"No." Edmund and Oliver answered in unison.
"Oh for goodness sake, would you stop arguing?! We can both show him around, Edmund and I." I suggested.
"I would be more comfortable if it was just you and I." Oliver said flirtatiously. I rolled my eyes as a response. This guy really wasn't giving up.
"Well I would be more comfortable if it was Y/N, you and I." Edmund said as he pulled my waist closer to him.
"Oliver, we're literally just going to show you around. It's either Edmund and I, or you can give yourself a tour." I informed him sternly.
Edmund smiled as he looked at me. I looked back at him and gave him a wink.
"Fine." Oliver said as he rolled his eyes.
He then let out a sigh.
Night fell in Narnia. Peter and Caspian talked about the sleeping arrangements. They agreed that Oliver and Edmund would sleep together.
"With Oliver? Seriously?" Edmund ranted as he looked out into the sleeping sea.
"It can't be that bad." I told Edmund. "It's just for a couple of nights.".
"I'm definitely sneaking into your room tonight." Edmund said as he buried his head in my hair.
"Oh Ed." I said as I tried to lift his head up. "You'll be fine.".
"Hmph." he scoffed.
I went back into my room, changed into my nightgown and stood in front of the window as I brushed my hair.
I then put my brush down, and took a good look at my flower. The rose now had faint trails of purple lines on the petals.

I inspected the petals. What happened?
I went back into my room as soon as Y/N went into hers.
I opened the door and saw Oliver lying down on my bed.
"Get off." I told him.
"Why should I?" he asked.
"Because," I said as I walked closer, "Its my bed.".
"It thought we were sharing." Oliver chuckled.
"A room, not a bed, you idiot. " I said as I rolled my eyes.
Oliver exhaled. "Okay." and he walked back to his bed.
"So, Y/N huh?" said Oliver, "She's something.".
Something? She's everything... At least to me.
"You guys a thing or what?" he asked. "You always pull her away everytime I try to make a move.".
"We're a thing, but we're not a thing." I answered.
"You aren't a thing?" Oliver asked, with a stupid gleam in his eyes. "I'm not surprised, she didn't mention anything about having a boyfriend.".
"She... didn't?" I asked, trying not to get visibly disappointed.
"No. But she did mention that she liked someone and he likes her back after kicking my shin." He said, rubbing his shin.
I smiled. That's my girl.
Oliver caught me smiling and scoffed. "You know, I would back off if you two were official but since you aren't, I wouldn't want to waste my chance.".
"What are you saying?" I asked.
"I like her and I want to win her over." He said.
"That's gross, I didn't need to hear that." I rolled my eyes. "But- I'd like to see you try.".
I trust her... And it would be fun seeing Oliver get rejected repeatedly.
"Don't be too surprised if she chooses me over you." Oliver stated.
"You've only known her for a day." I chuckled. "Goodluck."
I went out of the room, leaving him confused.
Y/N's P.O.V.
I put the flower back in the jar and laid down on my bed. The door slowly creaked open.
I sat up to see who it was. Edmund?
"Ed what are you doing here?" I asked him, not surprised.
"I want to stay with you." He said as he jumped on my bed and rested his head on my legs.
"Aww did little Oliver make you cry?" I teased as I played with his hair.
He looked up at me with the cutest, confused, puppy-face,

"Little? What do you mean little?"
He sat up, "Are you giving him nicknames now?".
"No doofus, I was just kidding." I chuckled, and buried my head in his chest.
We stayed like that, quiet, for a few moments, enjoying each other's company.
Edmund then broke the silence."Y/N...".
"Hm?"
"Could you sit up for a bit?" he whispered as he sat me up.
"Oh sorry" I said while I sat up.
"No no...we-uh..." he stuttered as he tried to
get the words out. "We need to talk.".
"About what?" I said, raising my brow.
He took a deep breath, "When do you plan on telling them about us?".
"Maybe in a few days." I answered. "Why? We aren't even official yet." I reminded him.
"A-and if we- if we um... if we were o-official?" he stuttered as he rubbed his neck.
"We aren't so I wouldn't know." I told him as I fixed his hair. "Why?".
He looked directly into my eyes. "I'm willing to change that.".
"Change what?" I asked.
Edmund took a deep breath and interlocked his hands with mine. "Y/N, I want to call you mine. I want to make us I want to be able to give other boys a reason to stop flirting with you.".
"What are you-"
"Y/N...
