Xavier stood in front of Benedict covering his half naked body from the prying eyes of his mother.

"Mom what brings you here?" He asks in shock.

Susanna, Xavier's mother was surprised. Not because her son was gay but he didn't have the mind to lock the door!

"Xavier honey, next time lock the door" she says before turning around.

Xavier pushed Benedict back into the bedroom. He chuckled awkwardly at his mother.

"You could've called"

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise now would it"

He chuckles.

"I wonder who got surprised the most" he whispers.

Susanna turned around and smacked him on the head.

"When were you going to tell me you're dating? He looked so cute, is he a furry like you?"

"Mom!" Xavier yelped mortified. How the fuck did his mother know that side of him?!

"What? We shared the same computer before you moved out, i have to say.....you're freaky"

The bedroom door opened and a blushing Benedict came out. Why did he feel like a teenager who got caught with his lover? He was an adult for fucks sake!

"Hello, I'm Benedict" he says sticking out a hand for her to shake.

She took in his looks, Benedict looked familiar.

"Susanna....have we met before?" She asks shaking his hand.

Benedict pondered for a moment then shook his head.

"I don't think so"

"You look really familiar"

He snapped his fingers.

"Maybe you confused me for my little brother, the one dating the prince?"

Xavier looked up at him in shock. Benedict's brother was dating a prince?!

"No that's not it, I've seen Skye in the media, he's a little shorter"

Benedict shrugged. What else was left to say.

"Are you hungry? I have takeout" Xavier says.

"Sure" the two say at the same time. They looked at each other before smiling.

Now that he was at ease, Benedict didn't get any hostile feelings from Susanna, maybe this can work out.

Skye was in the garden while Prince was asleep in the room, the prince had taken sleeping pills to avoid having nightmares again.

"Skye?"

He turned around and smiled seeing the queen.

"Hey....is everything alright?" He asks.

Star admired Skye's strength. She doesn't know what she could've done if she were in his shoes.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that? You've been here for an hour now"

Skye sighed. How time flies when one was in deep thought.

"I've been thinking. I know that the royal family is conservative and all but don't you think this is an issue to be open about?"

She frowned. Skye wants them to reveal that Edward was a rapist?

"I don't think that's a good idea"

Skye sighed in disappointment.

"What if Prince can be the light at the end of the tunnel for men who experienced the same as he did? Look at it this way, the royal family can form an organization that makes it safe for men who were assulted to feel free to talk about it, this isn't just a royal family issue, you should also worry about your people as well"

She looked at him. The determination in his eyes made her feel proud, she was proud to give her crown over to someone like him. She smiled.

"Let's do it"

The answer took him by surprise. She was really going to listen to him?

"I....I agree, thank you"

She held him by the shoulders and smiled.

"Like we said, you're a royal now so your opinions matter, I'll talk with Luke and we'll see from there"

"No problem....thanks"

She nodded.

"Don't worry about it"

He watched her walk away and he sighed. Now it was time to try to convince Prince to do this.

"So how long have you two been dating?" She asks.

Benedict and Xavier share a look.

"A day and a few hours"

She froze. A day?! And Benedict was already in leather briefs? Well, kids these days do move quickly.

"I see....i guess i ruined the meeting the parents for the first time huh?"

Benedict smiled at her.

"It's okay, i think it's better than catching us doing it on the couch or something"

He yelped when he received a kick under the table. Susanna laughed at them.

"Wow i finally realized. Xavier, you used to play with him when you were young, his mother was my friend back then"

"she wouldn't believe me anyways because her and that evil woman were friends..."

The fork in his hand dropped to the floor. No...it can't be. He looked at Xavier who was busy chatting with his mother.

"Uhm...i think i should go, i promised my big brother to help him move"

Xavier didn't have time to say goodbye as Benedict had already stormed off. He frowned.

"I wonder what has him looking so frenzied"

In the evening, Prince woke up feeling Skye gently massaging his back.

"Hm? What are you doing?" He asks.

"Your skin was so red i was afraid you'll be hurt so i put aloe vera on it"

He sat up and turned to him. He didn't like the way Skye looked at him, he looked afraid of him, but why?

"Babe? What's wrong?" He asks.

Skye took in a shaky breath. He doesn't want Prince to hate him for this.

"So uhm....i talked to your mother, we both agreed that you should be open about your....trauma to the people, maybe that will make other people feel empowered to step out with their own traumatic experiences"

He looks at Skye. He was shaking like a leaf.

"Skye....that's a brilliant idea but.....i don't think I'm in the mindset to do it right now"

"I understand, we didn't say now it was just an idea"

He nodded and held Skye's hands.

"I'm not going to be mad so don't be so afraid....i know I'm a little guarded right now but I'll never hurt you in any way"

Skye looked him in the eyes.

"I know that.....i just didn't want you to shut me out again"

He received a kiss on his knuckles before the prince pecked his lips.

"Let's take it one day at a time"

He opened the door to find his mother in the living room watching TV. He snatched the remote from her and turned it off.

"What's going on?" Sarah asks in confusion. She had never seen Benedict this angry before.

"Years ago, we had this neighbor. Her and her son always had to ask you to babysit.....you abused him didn't you, how could you?!"
