《Nothing Is The Same (6th book in Winchester Girl)》These Campbell's Are Morons

It was the next day and we were looking through Campbell jouranals. "Well, you know what, at least you tried." Sam said to Ricky. "Yeah, fat lot of good it did. Why did he even come, right?" Ricky said bitterly. "Well, Samuel's journals are pointless. I mean, I'm sorry, but uh, Jebediah Campbell has squat to tell me about how to stop Cas from cracking Purgatory." Dean said. "Yeah, these Campbell's are morons." I said, Bobby walked in with a large envelope and Ma and Pa looked pissed. "Well actually, it's not about the journals we have, it's about the one we don't." Bobby said. "Meaning what?" Marina asked. "Well, that's the bad news. Our pals Cas and Crystal didn't stop in last night just to mend fences." Pa said. "What did they do?" I asked. "Stole something." Ma said. "What?" Reece asked. "The journal of one Moishe Campbell." Bobby said. "Moishe?" Ricky asked "Of the New York Campbells." Pa said. "Not shocked." Evelyn said shrugging. "Well, uh, so we gotta get it back, right?" Kara said. "Or just read the copy I'd already made. Hi, glad to meet you. Persephone Theodroropoulos . Paranoid goddess bitch." Ma said handing them the copy. We were looking through the pages. "I think I zeroed in on something." Bobby said. "What do you got?" Dean asked. "Went to talk to Howard Phillips about the events of March 10th." Alison read over Bobby's shoulder. Reece and Evelyn got us all coffee to drink. "That's March 10th, 1937." Bobby said shrugging. "Alright. So who's this Phillips guy?" Ricky asked. "Phillips ain't his last name. It's Lovecraft." Ma said. "Wait, H.P. Lovecraft? Let me see that." Sam said as Alison gave him the papers she read. "Am I supposed to know who that is?" Dean asked. "Horror writer. At the Mountains Of Madness, The Call of Cthulu?" I said. "Yeah, it's - no, I'm - I was too busy having sex with Kara." Dean said. "Well, anyhow. There's one notion that comes up over and over again in his stories. Namely opening doors to other dimensions and letting scary crap through." Pa said. "You don't say." I said. "Wait, so you're saying you think Lovecraft knew something about Purgatory?" Sam said. "All we know is Moishe paid him a visit." Bobby said. Dean's phone rang and he answered it. "Ben?... What?... What are they?... Did you see their eyes?... Teeth?... This is important Ben, I need to know... Okay, where are you now?...Can you get to your mom's closet? I left a shotgun in there... Okay, Ben, listen to me. Go to your window and jump... Any bones you break won't compare to what they're gonna do to you, Ben. You've got to jump... I'm coming right now." Dean said and got his jacket, we followed. Dean handed me his phone and I held it up to my ear. "Hello Dean." Crowley said. "Not Dean." I said. "Oh Mary. Fancy a chat? God, how long's it been? Since my so-called demise, yes?" Crowley said. "Crowley, let 'em go now, or I swear..." I trailed off. "Right, right. You'll rip me a cornucopia of orifices. Let's get to the bit where I tell you how this goes. Your chocolate's been in my peanut butter for far too long." Crowley said. "I am going to kill you." I said. "Oh Mary, ever the wit. I've got your uh, oh what are they? Dean's Ex lady friend and not-kid, and I'm keeping them until I'm satisfied that you've all backed the hell off!" Crowley said. "I'm telling you, last chance to let 'em go easy." Dean said in the phone. "You're adorable when you get all threatening. Don't worry, I won't hurt them. Provided you and Jolly Green stand down. Got it? Splendid. Kisses." Crowley said hanging up. "What's the story?" Pa asked. "He said Lisa and Ben keep breathing as long as we sit on our thumbs." Dean said. "You think Cas knows about this?" Marina asked. "We gotta assume he does." Alison said. "So what are we gonna do?" Ma asked. "I'll tell you what we're not gonna do: sit here. I'm going after 'em." Dean said. "I'm coming with." I said. "No, Mae. You all stay on the Lovecraft thing, okay? Cas and Crystal already way ahead of us." Dean said. "You gotta be nuts if you think we're gonna let you do this alone." Sam said. "Bobby, Hades, and Persphone can take care of the case." Kara said. "No, guys." Ma said to us. "Guys, this is a big ball, okay? We can't drop it now."'Dean said. "Fine. But how are you gonna find Lisa and Ben?" Bobby asked. "I know how." Marina said smirking. Reece, Evelyn, Ma, Pa, Alison, and Bobby went to find Lovecraft. We were outside and Marina summoned Balthazar. "I'm sorry all, do I look like a man-servant to you? No? No? Then quit ringing for me, please." Balthazar said with a drink. "This is important, Balthazar." Ricky said. "I was drinking '75 Dom out of a soprano's navel when you called. That was important." Balthazar said. "Crowley's alive." I said. "Well you've been scooped. Cas already told me." Balthazar said. "Well did Cas tell you that he is Crowley's butt-buddy, you smug little dick?" Ricky asked. "Excuse me?" Balthazar asked. "Handshake deal. Go halfsies on all the souls of Purgatory. He fill you in on that?" Sammi said to the angel. "Well, yes, yes. Yes, of course he did. Yes." Balthazar said clearly lying. "Oh, yes, of course. I - I - we can read it all over your face." Kara said. "Look, Crowley and Cas took two people who are very important to me." Dean said. "And I care about this because?" Balthazar said. "Because there is a shred of decency underneath this - this snarky crap." Marina said. "They're innocent people and I'm asking for your help." Dean said. "Hmmm. I see. Fair enough." Balthazar said and disappeared. "I hate angels." Sammi said rolling her eyes. "Son of a bitch!" Dean yelled. "Look, Dean. Let's just call Cas. Maybe he doesn't know anything about this." Sam said. "We are not calling Cas." Ricky said. "Yeah, but Ricky. "We're not calling Cas!" Ricky yelled. "So what then?" I asked. We were now torturing demons to get answers. "Next customer." Dean said. I walked in with one. "Look, I don't know anything." The demon said. "Yeah, we'll see." Dean said. "Dean." Sam said. "Yeah?" Dean asked. "Look, babe. You - you're running on what, uh, whisky and - and coffee and whatever else you're taking." Kara said. "Yeah, and?" Dean said. "And we're grasping at straws here, man." Ricky said. "Look, I kill enough of these demons, eventually one of 'em's gonna tell me where Crowley is. So we good?" Dean said. "Dude these demons Mae is pulling from hell." Sam said. "Well look, you've been at it for a while, why don't you at least let me take over? You deserve a break." I told my older brother. "No thanks." Dean said. "Dean." I said grabbing his arm. "Mae, back off. Lisa and Ben, wherever they are, that is a hundred percent on me. And if they are hurt... I'll yell if I need you guys." Dean said. We went inside and we were drinking to just get our minds off things. "Drinking your feelings? I thought that was your brother's bag." Balthazar said. "Stressful times." I said. "Well, we need to talk." Balthazar said. "Why?" Sammi asked quirking an eyebrow. "Because - I know I'm gonna live to regret this - but I'm officially on your team. You bastards." Balthazar said. "And we should believe you why?" Marina asked. "I'm your brother, also would you believe I had a shred of decency?" Balthazar asked. "No." Dean said. "Oh. That hurts. Okay, you're right. It's survival. You see, I asked Cas some questions and I disliked his answers. He seems awfully sure of himself for a man who wants to swallow a million nuclear reactors. I mean, these things can get a bit Chernobyl, you know? So, voilà. Consider me your double agent. Oh, and I took the liberty of searching for your friends. Uh, took a while. Crowley and Siren are clever ones." Balthazar said. "You found them?" Kara asked. "Well, the upside is yes, uh, the downside is no, I can't get them for you." Balthazar said. "Why not?" Ricky asked him. "Because Siren and Crowley's angel-proofed the whole bloody building. I guess he doesn't trust Cas. Seems that marriage is going swimmingly." Balthazar said. "Okay, well get us as close as you can." I said. "Sure. But then you're on your own." Balthazar said. We got there and I walked with Sammi and Ricky with my blade. I was suddenly spun around and saw a demon I swing kicked him and heard a crack but he laughed. "You bitch." The demon growled. "Get away from my sister you asshole!" Sammi said and let her teeth and claws and killed the demon. "Sister?" I asked. "Well you are the only family I know." Sammi said. I smiled and patted her back. We ran out and saw the others. "Come on." Dean said, we ran to a stolen car s I was trying to heal Lisa and I got most of her healed up and saw she wasn't bleeding. "Mae?" Marina asked. "Get her to the hospital I got most of the wound cleaned up but still needs medical attention." I said. We got Lisa there and admitted and they checked in Ben. I left with Sam and we were now in the Impala. "So Mae, what's wrong?" Sam asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You seem like your tired." Sam said. "The wall it's slowly breaking like someone is hitting it with a truck." I said. "Vivid." Sam said. "Shut up Asshat." I said. "Sure Jerk." Sam said and we were outside the Impala and Dean walked up to us with Kara. "Well?" Sam asked. "Well nothing." Dean said, I got in the backseat with Kara. "Dean, you know, you've pulled some shady crap before, but this has got to be the worst. Whitewashing their memories? Take it from somebody who knows..." I trailed off to him. "If you ever mention Lisa and Ben to me again, I will break your nose." Dean threatened. "Dean." Kara said. "I'm not kidding." Dean said. "Sadly we know." Sam said driving away. I sighed and shook my head hoping this whole thing would just end.

8.18 1019The Fire Within Can Be Scary
In a fantasy world similar to ours, magic worked similarly to physics, with each elemental spirit magic being tied to a state of matter. Earth is solid.Water is liquidAir is gas.Fire is plasma. Four elements, four states of matter. However in the ancient world of Hitarea, "Plasma" hadn't been discovered yet. The people of this world believe that only three states of matter existed, and thus, only three elemental magic could exist. For years, Earth, Water, and Air stood alone as the three main elements from which all others originated. Advanced arts like metal from earth, or Ice from water were only extensions of their original element . . . so what does that make Fire? Fire is powerful as the earth with its mighty explosions, flexible like water as it writhes around in the air, and swift like the wind. All at the same time. Fire, in regards to combat, is the most powerful element by far. This fearsome power is Alden's to master, but this power is a double-edged sword. One shouldn't play around with fire if you don't want to be burned. The fire within can be scary, you know?
8 169Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
