As soon as the lunch bell rung, I immediately gather my stuff and jolted up from my seat. I didn't even bother to past by my friend's classroom like I always usually do, not after our huge argument last time. Now you might be wondering why I can't just hang out with Shuhua instead and ditch Soobin. Well for your own information, the two are literally took the same major which is why they're classmates. Plus I have a reason why Shuhua chose to stick up with Soobin than with me because I know she's also lowkey rooting for us to get back together.
I managed to caught a glimpse of a familiar brown haired boy, , I called after him and quickened my pace to catch up to him.
The buy turned around with his eyebrows furrowed together, but quickly flashed a smile when he saw that it was just me. , he waved at me.
, I suggested with hopeful eyes. He didn't even hesitated and already agreed to my offer, which I'm very glad about. Renjun nodded his head at his friends, urging to go ahead because he won't be joining them. , I told him quietly in which he only hummed.
We started making our way to cafeteria, there were a few heads turned to us but we paid them no attention. I already made it clear long to everyone long ago that I only like Renjun as a friend, nothing more. I'm really thankful that he accepts it that way and respects my decision. I also really appreciate it a lot whenever he's always by my side when I needed his help.
I heard him clear out his throat which made me look up at him,, he started, cautiously glancing at from time to time.
, I muttered under my breath.

", he continued.
I raised my eyebrows, , I answered him.
, he comforted me.
, I quietly say while looking down on the floor.
He softly patted my back before retreating his hand quickly, , he started. Renjun took a deep breath,, he added.
I gave him a faint smile, , I mumbled under my breath before shrugging my shoulder.
, he offered as we went on line.
As soon as we finished eating our lunch, we already left the canteen to avoid the gaze Soobin has been giving me for the past hour. We were walking on the hallways, heading back to our respective classrooms when I heard Renjun clear out his thorat.
, he asked me.
I raised my eyebrow at him before flashing him a smile. , I nudged him on his side. He chuckled, not to mention him slowly turning into a shade of red.
, he mumbled. That's quite understandable because he's major in accounting, so there's a lot of solving and math going on.
I suddenly remembered the scientific calculator that was lent to me by someone during the exam day. Up until now, I still haven't figured out who owns the scientific calculator or someone claimed it back from me.
, I answered him. I tilted my head while pressing my lips into a thin line, , I asked him politely.
, he agreed before heading to our classroom.
We stopped in front of the door, ", I told him and he only nodded.
I pushed the door open and was surprised to find an empty classroom, no one was inside except a very pale Y/N gazing off to space while sitting on the teacher's desk. They looked up at me as they heard the door open, I felt their gaze following me but decided to ignore it.
I made my way to my seat and set my backpack down, I opened my backpack and reached for the scientific calculator that was lend to me a few weeks ago. I zipped my backpack closed when my eyes met the eyes of the only person I'm with in this room.

Quickly making my way past the table while ducking my head, , I heard them say which made me stop on my tracks, but I didn't bother to turn around and face them. , they say.
I gulped with my eyes closed, thinking whether I should interact with them or not. I opened my eyes and took a deep breath before finally facing them, , I whispered.
They chuckled and slowly nodded their head before attempting to stood on their feet. I watched how their face slowly turned more pale than earlier. Everything happened so fast, they tried to grab on the edge of the white board behind them but they already fell on the tiled floor.
I widened my eyes, not even thinking twice when I rushed over to them. It looks like they were having a hard time breathing, not to mention their face is as pale as a sheet now. I didn't even hesitated when I gently placed their head on my lap. My heart started racing like crazy and before I knew it I was already panicking.
, I shouted as loud as I can, so he could hear me outside.
The later came barging inside the room, —, he exclaimed with wide eyes. Without wasting any more second, he slammed the door shot and soon followed by him screaming for help on the hallways.
I looked at Y/N once again, staring at each other right in the eye, black ones to brown ones. I run my hand softly on their hair, , I whispered, my voice shaking a bit.
Trying my best not to say it with a panicked voice because they might panic as well. I looked at them in the eye, with my comforting gaze, showing no anger towards him anymore. I kept on soothing them when I heard the door open and the professor came rushing towards us.

Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes).
