Mark looked around- "hey uh, where's Jack?" he asked. "Huh? Oh- yeah, he got teleported away after passing out" Ethan explained. "Oh, well... okay then," Mark said- confused about how little concern Ethan showed.
"We should probably go look for him," Ethan piped up after a few minutes "Let's go"
They walked for a few minutes before seeing a giant temporary fire burst up and then go away
"Well-we know where not to go" Ethan joked
Suddenly the two got teleported-
"Woah" Mark exclaimed while they got teleported
"Ah~"
"Hey look! It looks like Jack!" Ethan said excitedly-pointing over to something in the distance. Mark had to squint to see it "oh, yeah, kind of." Mark agreed. "Also- please never make that sound again," He said, looking at Ethan.
"Awhh, why not Maark~?" Ethan whined
"Because I said so E" Mark explained
Ethan decided to ignore Mark's request.
So instead- once they started walking again, Ethan started to walk backward. He looked over his shoulder. He did the sound once again and since he decided to walk backward and look over his shoulder- he fell over
"Oww" Ethan whined as he was just sitting
Mark stopped in his path, and turned around "Are you okay?" he asked-concerned.
"Ah~ I- I think so," Ethan said- picking himself up off the ground
"Oh- my god... Ethan- sound..." Mark said, his face becoming more red by the second.
"Ohh buuttt Maarrrkkkk~" Ethan whined-leaning on Mark's shoulder "you seem to enjoy it " he said-slowly wrapping his arms around Mark's sides.
"Get off- don't touch me," Mark said- pushing Ethan off of him. Mark turns around to face Ethan "and- stop being so gay all the time" Mark turned back around and started waking

Ethan decides to grab Mark's hand and follow. Mark- knowing he wouldn't escape the handholding- just sighed and continued walking.

"Is that, Mark? And Ethan?" Jack asked himself- squinting his eyes. "Yeah- looks like it" Chase answered. "Can confirm, that is very much vhose two" Henrik added.
As soon as Mark and Ethan got close enough- the two septic egos disappeared.
"Do- do they always disappear when people walk up like that?" Ethan asked. "Huh?" Jack looked around "I guess there were just there to make sure I didn't die by Anti or something,"
"Well. Guess we're all back together then right?" Mark asked to confirm "ah~ yeah, guess so," Ethan said- knowing that it'd bug Mark. "oh yeah Jack- you might want these" Mark said while handing Jack his pants, which were now dry.

Killing Tree
When your day goes to hell and you find yourself kidnapped, strung up from a magical tree, and left to bleed out, what do you do next? Asking for a friend. Fortunately, Riordan Kincaid is a tough, gives-no-fucks honey badger shifter. Unfortunately, now that he's survived the first attempt, a death mage and their cult are determined to finish the job by whatever means necessary, pursuing Riordan across the wilds of rural Michigan. Ghosts and spirits are outside of his specialty, and heaven help him if he has to cast actual spells, but Riordan isn't going to make this easy on his enemies. Even if that means breaking his long exile, turning to the local shifter community for help, and dealing with a bureaucratic department of mages. And don't even get him started on getting licked by a damn spirit bear. Now he just needs to figure out what will kill him first: his enemies, his past, or his own attempts at using magic? Or will Riordan beat the odds and prove that honey badgers really are that hard to kill? If so, what will he do with a life once hung upon a tree that's more than a tree? Lost souls: Road to Godhood (Isekai) [Writathon Participant]
In a world where mages stand above nobles and even the law, it's not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Luz and his brothers are no different. However, their peaceful lives are shattered when a dragon attacks their village. Left with no choice, Luz uses a forbidden spatial spell to save his brothers. The consequences are not pretty--he and his brothers are scattered across different realms. Luz will have to travel to places unknown to reunite his family and gain enough power to take vengeance on the dragon. Armed with a single spell that he can only cast once before his magic reserves are depleted, Luz has his work cut out for him. Being the oldest is never easy. Author note: Please be warned as the book won't be what you might expect since the early chapters of my work are more of a slice of life of an MC, trying to adjust to his new life rather than slaying monsters left and right from the get-go with accelerated growth cheat and missions given by a goddamn system that forges your path, since everyone knows: an MC needs a system that tells one how to move forward. That was a long sentence. Also, some of you might consider my chapter titles as clickbaity, while others like me might consider them: not boring titles, hehehe.

THE TIME MACHINE (Completed)
The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.
