You scaled up three flights of stairs, drifting your hand along the railing and feeling the paint peel under your fingers.

Eventually arriving at your floor.

Though, it wasn't blissful relief when you made it to your door. You were tense.

Slowly, you dig out your key and unlock the door to your apartment. Keeping your head low and shoulders hunched.

Before you could even get one step in, your boyfriend confronts you.

He traps you against the door, using his body as a block. "Where were you?" he slurs, the smell of alcohol stung your nose that made you crumple against the door.

"Work..."

"Where's your wallet?" he huffs, sluggishly attempting to get his fingers into your pockets.

"I... don't get paid until Wednesday" you shiver.

"Ah, that's okay."

Suddenly, he roughly grabs your face between his dirty fingers, forcing you to look up at his intoxicated gaze. "Who the was that outside?" he snarls, getting all up in your face before you could even drop your bag.

"Nobody... Peter, y-you know where my heart i-"

"Shhhh..."

He cups your face, a little gentler this time "Darling... you know how I get when you tease me" he purrs, stroking your cheek with his thumb. "I get jealous over my trophies, now, be a good princess and go make some dinner. Aye?" he rumbles, backing off and walking over to the couch again.

You breathe a sigh of relief that you didn't know you were holding, dropping your bag off near the door and wondering to the kitchen. The tension in your body didn't leave though.

You eventually serve dinner for him. It wasn't much, just canned spaghetti with some toast. It was all that was there...

He gawks up at you, making you play with the rim of your shirt. His eyes are confusing, you never know how he's feeling.

"Why's your hair out?"

"My hair tie snapped on the bus"

"Get a new one. It looks like a bloody bird's nest." he scowls, going back to watch TV.

You nod, going to bed hungry. There wasn't enough for you.

Peter shuffled into bed late. Waking you up when you felt a weight bounce down next to you.

However, your eyes snap open when you felt his hands drift around your waist and to your stomach, snaking under your shirt.

"No..." you mumble, shuffling away from him.

"C'mon, you've probably had a very rough day... let me help you relax. Working so hard to keep me going~"

The sheets under you felt colder than usual.

"I'm tired-"

"Don't worry about it, I'll do everything~ I'll make you feel beautiful, wanted and desired~" his hand is glued to your hip.

Your brain and heart were at war, making your stomach churn.

"You know that nobody else would do this for you, I'm doing this for you." He brushes some hair from your face. "All for you, my princess~"
