《A Guide To The Egos: Jacksepticeye》Chase Brody (Part 3)

For the most part, this is undetermined, but we're leaning on the side of no.
Chase is an average person, just like you—you may pass one another in public, but you may not even realize it. And what are the chances you'd full on meet someone you only crossed paths with once?
Likely you'd only meet if you were connected to his life or one of the other egos, or even Sean McLoughlin himself. Otherwise, the likelihood that the two of you would miraculously cross paths is extremely low.
Should you meet Chase Brody, and it isn't just a passing-a-stranger-for-a-fleeting-moment type of interaction, you will be fooled at first. Not like he has some deep dark secret, or that he isn't who he says he is—it's that he doesn't want others to get involved in his own issues.
Chances are, if you do ever meet Chase, it'll be by random chance. Not that either one of you will care.
Chase is friendly and likes to be positive in front of others, so the two of you should get along. He'll bring up his channel, Bro Average, and may even show you some videos. You'll smile at his excitement whenever he makes a shot and you'll think that you could see yourself being friends with him.
As you keep watching the videos, you'll notice sections that aren't supposed to be there: Chase, turned away from the camera, on the phone. He'll seem upset. You'll want to ask about it it, but he'll rush to change the subject.
This is the first time you'll realize there's something about him he doesn't want to share. You'll already have an idea of what it is, and you won't ask about it.
The two of you will head into a cafe and get drinks, and sit down. As the two of you talk more, you'll start noticing that he doesn't like talking about his personal life much. The only personal information you'll get out of him is that his birthday is April 11th. You know he won't answer any personal questions, so you don't ask.

Chase will have to go take a call at some point. When he's gone, you'll look up his channel on your phone again and watch the videos. Going back again, you'll realize the person he's talking to on the phone is his wife, Stacy. You'll get a better understanding of the issues that Chase is hiding.
You'll close out of the YouTube app just in time: Chase will sit back down. In the conversation that follows, you share more than he does. You will begin to notice that his smile seems more forced, and his eyes seem dull.
You ask about his channel, and if he's gonna record any vlogs soon. Chase seems to perk up at the topic—not by a lot, but you'll notice it. You'll feel a little better seeing it.
Chase will go on about Bro Average for a while, or until you stop him. The meeting will only end until you have to go, or Chase gets distracted or spooked. By what, you'll never find out. It's not important that you do. Chase will leave, but before he does you'll promise to follow Bro Average and keep in touch. He'll smile and thank you.
Then he'll leave, and you'll make a promise to yourself to make sure you don't let him down.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.

The Plan
An infinite world couldn’t be real, but if it was, well this would happen. Imagine a world that isn’t covered in water, but an endless atmosphere. Plates of land, named “islands”, float and drift almost aimlessly. There is no sun, stars, roof, or floor; just boundless air in every direction. Light is generated from the movement of air flow. Magical and mystical powers keep islands floating and the world full of fresh entropy. Some of these floating islands drift upwards or downwards or any combination of volatile or patterned velocities. Air flow also follows the same characteristics of islands, which generates the light and heat. In a world with no horizon, the different inhabitants struggle. Beings calling them selves deities across the endless space are countless. If you were to fall off an island, you would inevitably hit another island; if you didn’t die from old age first. Many inhabitants don’t know the land further than their own eye sight or town they grew up in. Almost all inhabitants of islands have supernatural abilities, ranging in ability and skill. Magical abilities are kept individually; and mystical powers are borrowed. Islands float because the land is enchanted by either a magical or mystical crystal. Magical islands are known for vertical variance, while mystical islands are known for vertical stability. The islands rotate around focal points, known as 'the center'. There are many 'the center', but no one knows this yet... Warning: Tagged Mature 18+ for Strong Language, Gore, Violence, and sexual scenes. Google Drive (Click here to open new window) WIP/spoilers
